- It's time to celebrate a couple of things, one is John getting older and the other celebration is because Mandy has completed her Chemo & Radiotherapy, however, she still has the brachytherapy operations to come over the next 10 days.

So pleased to hear your treatment is all but finished you have been amazing speaking out about your treatment warts and all I know you have helped me so much to conquer my fears,still no results as yet from my lung and lymph nodes biopsy so I will put it down to no news is good news as the lung was 15 days ago. You brought some very happy memories back having lunch at the White Heart my daughter lived in the village many a good night was had there,it was the first time I had ever seen the bore wave gaining momentum down the Trent at first I wasn’t sure if it was the copious amount of cider 😅. Take care look after yourself ❤

Hi both. You have a lovely knack of making vlogs that feel like we are right there with you. The way you sat at the table at the pub and chatted and then kept glancing over to the camera ‘us’. Felt like I was at the pub with you and wanted to join your conversation (and chips) LOL
Anyway Mandy I’m so happy for you and the end of your treatment. I can’t wait to watch your Ireland vlogs. I know you loved traveling before and your freedom but I can’t help think that you will embrace your lives even more now.

@johnmandy sh*t happens but if you deal with it by selling up, going full time in a motorhome and living a great life, at least we have that to think about on the down days. As you have both shown, how you deal with something rough is the most important thing. Take care guys

Aw Heck, the hangout is just too close to so much else going on (I've got funerals and voting and other relos needing care) and at three corners of Scotland, so just won't be able to make it. I sure hope you get lots of support! As for the being unwell in vanlife... I recently tested that out with the COVID caper; and I have to say that being in The Grey seemed to me to be much better than if I had been back in the sticks and bricks (aka The Hutch) Everything was within reach and I could hunker down in nature... Bravo and congrats for getting through this stage of treatment and may all the positives continue! YAM xx

You won’t struggle with parking in Ireland . We been here 6 weeks now and been on one camp site for 2 nights so far . The place is superb for vanlife
Ah, fabulous. So good to hear the treatment is done, Mandy - and you can start to plan forwards. And I was going to say, John, thinking there was another week of hospital visits to go, if you wanted to spend a morning on a tour round historic Beverley with a retired geography teacher (no leather elbow patches ever worn) or a walk on Beverley Westwood - then just say. But you’ll be glad you’re no longer having to spend hours in a lay-by near Castle Hill. Delighted for you both.

I haven't commented much on your journey so far but it just brings other issues into some kind context when Mandy has been so un well and then John from Life Beyond Bricks also not being great. Well hello you two, I believe you know by now I often don’t comment but always look forward to watching your videos as they are a pleasure to watch. Even by me not leaving a comment you are assured to receive every time 100% a thumbs up. Happy belated Birthday John. Mandy nearing the end of you hospital treatment, Well done lady for taking the plunge to share your experiences with many people around the globe for them to gain knowledge and understanding from your videos with hope it helps them for a brighter happier future as you have shown you can get through challenging situations like this. You have both done remarkably well together as I can imagine the stresses and strain on John and the family during times of your treatment Mandy this is something else you both will have highlighted to many people out there as there is always the loved ones that feel it too. It’s been a pleasure to have watched the journey from start to the end. Particularly for me during the month of May 2024 because whilst you were in hospital Mandy I was also spending the week from 17th May to 24th May attending Salford Royal Hospital to see my Mom an Ex NHS-Key worker for 44’years for the last time when sadly she passed away early Friday morning 24th May @ 06.55am and we the family put mum to rest on 11th June 2024 at Manchester Crematorium Chorlton-Cum-Hardy after a long battle with diabetes. So yeah massive thanks Mandy & John. I can’t iterate it enough keep those videos coming, You both take care now while I live in hope that one day I’ll manage to get my own You-Tube Channel of the ground, Steve from Manchester.
I look forward to seeing your new adventures, I’d have loved to come and seen you both but I’m also experiencing employment difficulties which affects me financially.
And finally: May I also included for us all our sincere thoughts to Life Beyond Bricks -John & Tash sending our much Love and Appreciation to both John & Tash for all they both do as well for the community - Get Well Soon John, Come on John you can beat this.
