The rom works very well on my R69 box, in fact it is as if you had started from a firmware made for this TV box. I say this because I have another MXQ Pro 5G 4k, which has the same processor and a different WiFi chip, the ROM installs perfectly, but I lose the WiFi and I lose a USB port. The R69 only has 2 USB ports and the MXQ has 4 haha, but with this rom only 3 work.
Definitely, I would prefer the DPI change to 230, so I can navigate better in applications like Disney+ for example since children enjoy it a lot. But I lose MAX, I hope in the future they improve the rom to solve these incompatibilities or a mod of the application comes out that allows it to work correctly. Everything is possible. Netflix or Prime Video are going great.
I'm using Fplink Q5/iATV Q5. Even though it's running google certified OS interface for some reason the device isn't registering as a TV. All I want to do is th mac to a proper TV mac so that google and other services register this as a TV rather than a phone. I need solution.

@@cuynu there's a sticker on the motherboard, text is "h3-r69-mxq-s-mxq4k-8pd3-1.1.4". Google search leads to a rom that works for me, device is Sunvell R69. My device original rom was faking both ram and internal memory, 4+32gb, while it's really 2+16 and values are correct with this rom. I have no idea what's the cpu, but still I'm stuck on this okay-ish wifi chip. Managed to clean up the rom with "adb appcontrol" (less geeky because has GUI, but does the job fast) and installed kodi v19.5 because from v20.x and up videos become laggy and buffering stutter occurs. Probably kodi team is trying to kill cheap devices increasing cpu load. Well, take care.
I actually found a working rom, name is "H3-R69-MXQ-S-MXQ4K-8PD3-1.1.4.img" just like the sticker. Firmware for Sunvell R69, everything working on my device (branded "allpress" for italian market). Is it possible that your fw is for ddr3 ram? I'd like to edit that image with dragonface but while importing the .img a "failed to load" message appears around 70%. Do you have any advice for me?
