I have a 2nd Gen FireTV (metal square box) that is stuck in "Optimization Mode" I tried several methods for example using a keyboard trying to force it into Recovery with no luck.
is there a way to flash new firmware to get it going again and would you know where to find the procedure?

For the chrome permissions thing: NONE of the things you enabled permission for will help you in any way here. The one you already had enabled, storage, is required however if you are going to download something through the internet with the app. Or even just save a picture for that matter. But chrome will ask for permission when you try that regardless.
Basically, this already seems a bit sus. Not that I actually suspect something malicious, but others might assume that despite the facecam and friendly character. So for future videos like this one I recommend having a script written down that you're following. It really helps with accidental misinformation like that and makes sure the video has a consistent feel to it too.

I have a question can the T95 Android box be updated rooted or programmed to work like the fire stick with different channels and live TV?
My 2nd question is is there a limit to the T95 Android box or can we just always program it and update it as long as we have memory stick so on?

3. Try to start the tv box in safe mode and then uninstall the last installed application that "hung" the tv box.
On a keyboard, hold down the arrow keys (left + right) and the power button on the remote control simultaneously. It will start in safe mode!
Which launcher you have? I like it.
Not very convincing when it says on the end not rooted. So how to verify? Also, now the device is rooted but what can we do? An example would be nice. And what should we absolutely never do.

I don't see the point of rooting the android tv box for a phone I can understand you want a different OS or get rid of some stock apps but most android TVs are pretty clean for removing ads you can install a custom launcher

I have one of these tablets and started seeing the same things, most notably even the Chrome browser is no longer getting updates, but there may be other browsers and apps that still support the tablet’s older android OS that you could use instead. in order for your favorite apps to work with this older tablet, not only will the tablet need to be rooted, but you will also need to install a custom ROM like Lineage OS, if this tablet is even supported by that package. in my initial research, it doesn’t look like Lineage is fully compatible with this tablet yet, but there may be other solutions if you are very comfortable working “under the hood” with Android devices.
Or you can use a different app store that allows you to mock a certain kind of phone. That's how I got aethersx2 on my nvidia shield tv.
