Saw there weren't timestamps for this cool orchestration, so I made some. 0:00 Super Mario Bros. 1:05 Super Mario Bros. 3 (Airship) 2:16 Super Mario World (Valley of Bowser, Castle) 3:18 Super Mario 64 (Road to Bowser) 5:05 SM64 (Bowser in the Dark World) 6:36 SM64 (Ultimate Bowser)
After 4 years in this orchestra, I can honestly say so far, that Bowser Road is the most fun and awesome thing to listen to and play . I always got so hype at that part.
Bowser may not be the scariest of all Nintendo villains, but man, does his themes sound beautifully terrifying when orchestrated. That's the magic of Koji Kondo in action.
The Valley of Bowser was the best part! No-one else has covered the Valley of Bowser like that while keeping the theme of the original! Every single piece in this video sounds better than the original! I love it so much!
This piece is beautiful, especially at the final song. It captures the intense moments of Bowser, and the chilling sides of him. It doesn't matter what Mario game you are playing, Bowser's theme will always rein as one of the best themes in the game. And because of this video, thousands (hopefully millions in the future) will be able to experience true video game music, whether it sounds like it is played by a jazz band, or if it's played by an organ. This video, and your Super Mario 64 Live Orchestra, are both how I've found this channel, and why i am in love with your music. Like I've said before, Bowser will always have one of the greatest themes, and all of his themes (even sunshine's) are my favorites. My wish is to play this piece with a whole band, especially the final 2 songs, and experience the beauty of chilling and intense battle themes. unfortunately, my band director does not want us to play songs like this. it would be nice to play it tho since i'm a member of the low brass, and they sounds amazing in this piece

Wow thank you so much for the great comment! We will upload the videos of our Mario concert soon, stay tuned for more awesome Mario music!
If you mouse over the part where the guy runs and screams, the small thumbnails skip from him being there to him not being there. There's no in-between and I love that.
Super album. Je l'écoute assez régulièrement chez moi, j'ai justement hâte de mettre la main sur le disque du concert RPG. Ce concert était vraiment de la bombe! Keep up the awesome work! :3 ~Joe
All I can imagine for the first two minutes is the song being used in the Illumination Mario Movie when Mario, Luigi and Toad are sneaking into bowsers castle.
And like that. You've just become one of my favorite youtube channels. If you ever perform in chicago, i just might make the trip to see your epic performance.
Is or will there be in future a way to buy the Orchestrated pieces? I was stunned to see a whole orchestra doing actually soundtracks of video games from the past. I would really love to support you guys.

Hi Eye, We don't sell our music online for the moment but we are working on it. CDs are available at the door on concert nights (Montreal). Thank you for your interest though, it's really appreciated!
I'm kinda missing the Mario 3D World Bowser theme, it is super epic. Like the concert and the composition. Is there one arranger ore are there multiple and is there any chance of getting known their names? Awesome work though, keep it going!
For this track particularly, the arranger was Alexandre Choinière, has indicated on the CD. They have a couple of people inside the orchestra that usually do the arrangements.
cool. i just have a small love for any instrument, and sax has to be one of the sexiest sounding instruments out there. for some reason i get a bit mad when someone talks shit about an instrument or if they mistake it. must be my die hard music fan inside me
I’ve come to this video after a month or so negotiating and talking with you via e-mail, and my own version of Super Mario 64 is officially in the works! The first rehearsal is being run tomorrow. Although I couldn’t get a score from you, I arranged my own, which it was heavily based off yours (with my own little twists in there) and I couldn’t thank you enough for the inspiration. I am actually becoming less shy/introverted by running my SM64 show. Again, I couldn’t thank you enough and I’ll put a link to my own in May! I can’t invite anyone from here since it is a high school performance.
If I could make one recomendation to this arrangement, add in World Bowser from Mario 3D World somewhere :) This is probably my favorite medley of bowser's themes so far! Keep up the good work, everyone
lAlO l it’s Koopa’s road from SM64, I believe. That’s what you were asking for, right? You worded it kind of weirdly, so I’m not sure that I fully understand what you’re saying ;;
Other then orchestre d'harmonie meaning concert band in french I'm not sure why they refer to the videos as an orchestra... It _does_ sound more professional
"orchestra" is a fancier sounding word, I suppose. It derives from Latin, after all, while "band" comes from Old Norse. When you think about it, most words with Latin/Romantic roots _sound_ fancier or more sophisticated than their Germanic equivalents.
Saw there weren't timestamps for this cool orchestration, so I made some.

3:18 Super Mario 64 (Road to Bowser)
5:05 SM64 (Bowser in the Dark World)
6:36 SM64 (Ultimate Bowser)
Btw in the first one you should put (castle level)
It's called Koopas Road not Road to Bowser
@@PaulWitzelNarratives kinda the same thing
When these are all strung together, I imagine some epic battle between the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms and it looks amazing! ❤
I wanna say I've heard koopas road in a Zelda game too
I love how everyone's in a suit all formal-like and the tuba player is just cosplaying as Wario.
FUNNY
Guess he didn’t get the memo
@@lumi_2423 Guess he was the only one that got the memo.
WAH?!?!?
its like that wanted minigame from nsmb lmao
wait.
WARIO IS ONE OF THE TUBA PLAYERS!
sqWAud goals
See what i did there?

The Hero I see an ice cream cone
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARIO

I cannot get over that man running and his scream
AAAEEUUUUGHHH
is nobody gonna talk about how awesome the rendition of the bowser battle theme from sm64 is?
no
After 4 years in this orchestra, I can honestly say so far, that Bowser Road is the most fun and awesome thing to listen to and play . I always got so hype at that part.
Bobbeyjazz lucky, I’ve been playing alto sax for five years and we always play lame songs in concert band
What game is 5:05 from??
@@kissmeboi boiiiiii it's Bowser's Theme in SM64
YAHOOOO
Villains have the most fun music themes.
Beutiful! Bowser really has had some of the best villan themes EVER.
I mean he's technically LORD Bowser by title so you'd expect as much. 🤷🏻♂️
Just my thoughts.
Bowser may not be the scariest of all Nintendo villains, but man, does his themes sound beautifully terrifying when orchestrated. That's the magic of Koji Kondo in action.
Why no one is talking about Ultimate Koopa Theme (06:35)!?... Man! It is absolutely the best! Sounds exactly like a final showdown should sound!
Hahaha... I was trying to figure out what was up with that one tuba's clothes... I just realized he's Wario. :)
I didn't even notice him till I saw your comment XD
Haha indeed
WAH!
Don´t mind him... He´s just playing 5 seconds anyway...
jk
4:56 the best moment in this video
+meepmeep189 - Smartest person in the group. You hear that music you run away...not go and investigate. My hero!
Hell yes trombones kicking ass and taking names
🍔
Alfred Jimenez
Taking names? HOW?!?!
An instruments can't take names & can't kick asses what ever that means!
Indeed.
The lights in the background have a flame filter! That's cool.
3:18 Sounds so amazing coming from a live orchestra!
The Valley of Bowser was the best part!
No-one else has covered the Valley of Bowser like that while keeping the theme of the original!
Every single piece in this video sounds better than the original! I love it so much!
This just delivered a huge nostalgia fist directly to my face
Holy shit that Koopa's Road rendition... :O
2:18 and 5:34 are the best parts in my opinion, I like the "bad guy" beat
The valley of bowser one was a complete hit! They nailed it. In fact all of them but that was my favorite
5:17 is really my favourite part
If that guy was dressed up as Luigi, would be a 10/10
Those clarinets playing that lick together with the organ sounds eerie af
2:16 Hell yeah!!!
First found this about three years ago and I’m still listening to it today
goosebumps every time
5:07 yo that’s one of my favorite songs from bowser ever!! After the amusement park one from 3D world thought. Gave me chills I just love that.
As soon as the 64 theme started I had flashbacks to my first time entering Bowser in the Dark World
May be 6 years late to this but bowsers been my favorite chat since I was little glad to hear his themes orchestrated
5:06 i love how you can just feel how dirty those trombones sound, absolutely beautiful
Theres a guy dressed as wario
Ω SmashCrafter Ω oh shoot, didn't notice until I saw your comment

I was watching this with Bowser and he loves this!
Absolutely flawless.
That one clarinet that left was awesome!
I also really love the nod to super paper mario sticker star at the end 8:04
There's always that one jackass that coughs at the start
5:20 was dramatic and funny. That dude was gone.

Goosebumps throughout most of the video!!
The dude who ran away actually forgot the music, and was looking for an opportunity to get out
wow, this song is without a doubt, so much more intuitive than what i really thought possible tbh. It's pretty impressive.
Oh my God, so beautiful thank you for sharing!
This is *sniff* Beautiful!
Simply magnificent!
5:05 so this how bowser's theme would have sounded in galaxy
And like that. You've just become one of my favorite youtube channels. If you ever perform in chicago, i just might make the trip to see your epic performance.
Bowser's theme totally sounds like Medic's theme from Team Fortress 2.
volarecantare Should'nt it be the other way
Medic is a koopa in disguise confirmed?
The medic is a spy, then?
Bowsers Domain is the most beautiful mario music it puts chills to my spine along with princess peach"s castle walls.

Gosh, the trombones and other low brass were so PHATTTTT on the SM64 portion
Nobody is going to mention Wario playing on the far right?
Those "No one is going to mention x ?" comments are getting a bit tiring now.
@@Engineer9736 I posted this comment 2 years ago
If you can hear closely, waluigi is crying behind the stage because he can't be on stage with wario
2:15 the name is Bond... James Bond
Honestly, the bowser theme from super mario 64 kept reminding me of nightfire's main theme.
THIS!! is beautiful
Wow Wario, you're good at the tuba.
incredible, incredible
On peut s'attendre à un peu de Bowser au concert super mario?
Koopas Road is the best bowser song for me!
Kinda Surprised you don't see any of the Orchestra Members are any of the Koopalings.
Like Ludwig maybe.
Wooow c dont bin hot😍 jveut voir ça en vrai!
5:48 that sexy sax... Bowser tryna bust a move!
1.) not a trumpet, its a sax. 2.) it is an amazing part
It must've been early in the morning when I typed that. Corrected

how did you do this to me? AWESOME!!!
Anybody else notice Wario on the tuba?
sublime!!!
J'adore le thème de Bowser dans Super Mario 64
I can't believe you skipped King Koopa's theme in Final battle of Super Mario Bros 3. Still this was a great Performance
Awesome!
I didn't want the Valley of Bowser part to end...
Best version of bowsers path
I love it
I'm fucking in love with bowser road
3:20 yes!
Holy shit this is beautiful
If I could make one recomendation to this arrangement, add in World Bowser from Mario 3D World somewhere :)
This is probably my favorite medley of bowser's themes so far! Keep up the good work, everyone
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Ultimate Bowser genuinely sounds like a classical piece
I came here for in the final, though I'm still not disappointed
Awesome!! somebody know to which theme in particular corresponds the part at 3:35?
lAlO l it’s Koopa’s road from SM64, I believe. That’s what you were asking for, right? You worded it kind of weirdly, so I’m not sure that I fully understand what you’re saying ;;
Loved it. But I was really hoping for World Bowser from SM3DW.
Oh that would’ve been great
So fucking amazing!!!
I'm subbing!
*BADASS.*
Some sections during the orchestra sounded music reminiscent of Godzilla. Was that intentinal, or just by chance?
I cannot speak for the arranger but I can say it is a possibility!
nernerman It does sound like Godzilla!
which part was it? *my profile picture and name should explain why i ask*
I personally don't like how Bowser's themes evolved. It lost it's dark tones from Super Mario 64 on..
Chris Guzman what about Mario Galaxy and New Super Mario Bros DS?
Jacob Valmassoni The Orange Yoshi I was about to literally comment the same thing. Bowser’s music in the galaxy games is SO fantastic.
5:15 Why he run away?
Sigh.. * facepalm *
I was waiting for world bowser and didn't get it. I'm sad now
minuto 2:37 me iso llorar lo hermoso que se escucha
Epic
This is so boss!
2:36 good theme súper Mario Bros world
that 5:48 sound.. Nightfire anyone?
3:20 epic song
¿Qué melodía es la que empieza en 2:36 y va hasta 3:05? Gracias
Castillo en Super Mario World, y el final cuando desciende Bowser.
Goddamn the 64 boss theme is so funky!
This isn't an orchestra (not a traditional one, at least). It's a concert band (note the lack of string instruments).
Other then orchestre d'harmonie meaning concert band in french I'm not sure why they refer to the videos as an orchestra...

The audience should have given that chick on the left of the screen at 5:44 a round of applause right there. That was a dope solo.
