D-Boss! I love doing under drains, I do ‘em burrito style! I use the 6’ wide gray fiber landscape fabric and the pvc only, nonetheless just use 3/4” clean cuz it’s the cheapest put pipe together and cover with the stone and fold it up soft taco style, fill ‘em up about 3” from grade with the 3/4”, another piece of fabric then put couple inches of that 80/ ton 1-1/4” river stone. Great job and you finally got the pipe lazer working…nice nice!

@@Blox_fruit_master1 I only compacted where the traffic will be driving through and horses will be walking not along the sides of the barn.. but clean Rock can be compacted and it would not stop water flow.

Great job, Mike. I've been watching you for a few years, I like how you explain the dynamics of the job, scope of work, grades, etc. Your operation is somewhat similar to the company I worked for for about 20 years. We did similar work, with the exception of concrete. We're in a very competitive market here in Southern Maine, so our niche was doing jobs the 9ther guys wouldn't. We also had a materials division, gravel pit, and trucking ( 4 tri axles ). We're you have Red, maybe get a couple cheap walkie rallies like DP uses, to communicate on the job site. Keep up the great videos, they've been helping me get through my healing from a catastrophic medical issue, I can't do excavating anymore, so watching your channel helps alot, take care

Watched with fascination and wondering why there is no gutters and downpipes for the water to be either saved or piped away. Then I think - hang on I live in a very dry country (bit too wet at the moment) where water is super precious, don't have so many deciduous trees or snow. Yes - this was a great way for the water to be relayed from the building - excellent video. Sorry to hear about your Dad.

Your explanation against solid pipe was inaccurate. If you read the installation guidelines from the pipe manufacture then you'll notice self-cleaning for 4-inch corrugated-pipe is 2.8% slope, solid 4-inch only requires .78% slope to self-clean.
I live in hurricane territory so we often get 3.5-inch flash-floods & the occasional 4.5-inch flash-flood so a half-acre of impervious (soggy ground) cover requires one solid 8-inch pipe or dual solid six-inch pipes. 8-in solid self-cleaning needs .347% slope, six inch solid needs .49%.
