Great Job as always (work performed & video producing)! Your list of skills just keeps growing. "Masonry & Excavating" is a start but plumber, instructor, mechanic, tilt-attach salesman, cameraman, editor, and many more are missing. :)

Thanks Boss. I appreciate you taking the time to detail these connections. Having someone you trust showing “How To” makes it nicey-nice when it comes time to tackle a task!
Connecting two trenches in the middle is always a challenge. The first time I attempted it with my baby backhoe, the trench caved in. I almost tipped it over. We chained it to a tractor and weaseled it out. Since then… I’ve learned a lot. In fact, every situation is still a learning experience for me.
    Stay safe bud.

I realize this is 8 months old but next time you use a Fernco underground check out the strong back version (some call them 4 bolts). Regular Ferncos tend to slip over time but strong backs have a stainless steel band for support.

Water and sewer connections are done by groundworks or builders over here too, there are a few differences but still roughly the same principles on depth of water mains and fall on the sewer pipes.

I always dig the fill out on the over dig on a basement to drain tile gravel on the footing and fill it in with clean gravel so it doesn't settled and create a sag in the line. And never use SDR35 only sch 40. Job security I guess
