    Eventually, in a year or two, if you run E85 consistently, you'll spring fuel leaks all over the place including the gas tank seals and the multitude of fuel lines, connectors and o ring seals. It'll be a while though, so enjoy in the meantime! Nice video!
    PS...it happened to me, I speak from personal experience, several months after going straight E85, I was leaking fuel in multiple places on a MARK 7. It clearly doesn't happen to everyone and maybe and hopefully, it'll never happen to you. Best of luck in any case.

      Thank you for the insight I did know it can cause corrosion and build up but I didn’t know it could have that effect so thank you for the information and I appreciate it !

    Just ordered my Uniflex kit along with stage 2 for my DSG 40AE. Can’t wait to compare it to my previous stage 3 manual Mk8.

    Uni also says that there are more pops and bangs with this tune. It was hard to tell from the video, but have you noticed more popping outta that sucker? As a Mk8 owner, I always look forward to your next mod so i van pick and choose what works for me. Thanks for the great content, keep it up!

      I haven’t noticed too much on the amount of pops but more so a change on when I can let go of the throttle and get it to pop. I don’t have to be all the way at 3,000 rpm for the pops to take place now they happen a bit sooner. Thank you for the support as well I do hope the videos have helped you as far as what’s been worth it !

    I could be completely wrong but I thought for the mk8 you don’t need a kit to run E85 you just need a tune.

    • @tonypatterson1419

      You can tune for E85, but then you can only pump E85. The flex fuel kit and tune allows you to pump 91-E85 without re-flashing.

      You are correct if e85 is common near you you can just run their tune this is more tailored to those who don’t live near places with E85 ( like me ) but still would like to run it when they do come across it . There’s only one E85 pump within a 2 hour drive for me.

    You said e60 was the threshold to run the tune, but from what I’ve read you can run stage 1+ + uniflex with any % ethonal you want? You can run it from 93 at the gas station all the way to e85 let me know if I’m correct

      @@massimovercesi8288 yes you are correct when I had filmed this I had confused there straight e85 tune with the flex tune.

    If it’s a true flex fuel tune it should be able to run on any amount of ethanol if it’s a e85 tune it would need e60 -85

      It does still run perfectly fine on any blend , I was more so talking for the peak power side of things I should have specified! Thank you !

    I thought there was no cutting involved what all did you have to cut? Is it something expensive to fix if ya screw it up?

    • @octane_media
      @octane_media  5 месяцев назад

      @@Anonymous-kb2bs the only cutting was just the fuel return line that’s how the sensor gets its reading it’s not hard and it’s really hard to screw up there is plenty of fuel line to work with !

      @Anonymous-kb2bs 5 месяцев назад

      @@octane_media I'm probably going to have it done by a mechanic or a professional but either way if something does get screwed up is it really expensive or hard to replace the fuel line? I'm just paranoid because my car is a 2024 and has lots of warranty left on it and I don't want to mess around with too much and risk anything.

    • @Anonymous-kb2bs
      @Anonymous-kb2bs 5 месяцев назад

      @@octane_media also, if you ever want to remove the hardware kit do you have to buy a new fuel line? That's my only concern is if you want to have it returned to stock what would you need to do?

    • @octane_media
      @octane_media  5 месяцев назад

      @@Anonymous-kb2bs it would require a new return line to return it back but that would be the only thing to go back to stock
