Got to let your octopus cool in the liquid before taking it out. It'll suck up all those juices while cooling and be very moist. If you don't it'll dry out very quickly.
Had a crack at this yesterday, spot on! Normally in the pot of water, but this was an amazing difference. Cheers. Must have been from a high end Greek Restaurant.
Hey, great video! I’m a bit late to the party, what can I use instead of red wine vinegar? I thought of red wine + balsamic and regular vinegar or red wine + lemon juice. Thanks for the help
i guess also because you started braising it at room temp instead of at boiling it helps keep the tentacles straight, is there a difference in taste with greek oregano though? and very nicely done ,nice product at the end perhaps maybe some thinly sliced red onion for color would go good with that salad
I made this for dinner tonight. It was SO GOOD! My husband lived in Athens for a year and he really liked the grilled octopus. Thank you for the delicious recipe. Now you have to teach us how to make octopus rice. :)
sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
My friend your video was very nice, I was looking for a cooking video about grilled octopus. I gotta tell you man you entertained and nailed it ! Bravo
You burnt the bottom of it because you put the hotel pan, which is thin stainless, too close to the heating element. Also, you said the octopus is "residual." I think you may have meant resilient
So Leckerbissen, Vielen Dank für Ihre Bemühungen gegeben haben bitteschön

Boil the octopus for 45- 1hr to tenderize it then put it on grill or bbg for few minutes and it's done

So,I didn’t see you tenderize the octopus in the machine. What do you suggest I do since I don’t have a machine? Henry
You can use a mallet
Yassou Yiorgos. Evharisto poli.
If you use the best quality octopus you would be using Hawaiian Islands Octopus 😮😂

Not sure if it’s the frozen octopus I buy or if it’s how I prepare octopus but always my octopus is a chewy tough end result.
OMG. I remember my parents slamming the octopus on the rocks at me house. Let’s not even talk about how they prepared lamb for Easter.

How did it taste?
Like red wine vinegar and olive oil

So strange how everyone seems to cook a different amount of time from 17 minutes to 3 hours. Why?

Either way it's not a big deal. I'm just used to using it.
