I love stylish shooting and front lines to mid range support so def making Ferry and Rackham my mains. Not sure on my third or more. Need to see Rosetta's skills to see if I'd like her. Vaseraga also looks fun as well
So for those who are interested in Yodarha: don't sleep on his counter. A successful counter makes him instantly get his fastest stage (where the combo is basically vertical spin into finisher loop)
I figured out how to change a character. Go into start screen and go to party. Select 4 party members you want on your team. Swap out the main character and highlight the character you want to swap with. Then accept it and exit screen. You'll be able to play. I had to figure it out
vane is looking SICK. im a very simple man, i see big 10 foot long axe/sword, i like. siegfried looking super fun too, i think he will be a popular one.
I stopped listening after I saw Roestta do the *snap* AoE thing. She's perfect. Edit: Nevermind, I didn't expect a spear user and a magic whip summoner. Hope the game is good. Will have to check it out after it releases.
I main siegfried and I thought I wasn't gonna like the combo timing but trust me, it's not too hard to get the timing and it's very fun, especially when you get access to his later moves and perks
@@Major-Beyondthis is exactly my experience, I was like a slightly slower big sword guy, but I had the best time, and getting that perfect time finisher always feels satisfying. But yeah the timing is incredibly fair, I'm used to street fighter games ridiculous microsecond input BS, so this was incredibly welcome.
I main him he’s a lot of fun. Later in the skill tree he gets a trait for super armor all his attacks as long as you perfect time them. I paired that with more health and lifesteal it’s fun turning off my brain and looking for the rhythm.

You play as the Captain for the 1st 30m or so. That's it really. You can then play as anyone you want. You are forced to have them on the party for the main story but can get rid of them once you finish it
When ur building a party which u can already do once you have ur first goblin mission and u need to pick party of 4, just put your character in the first slot, thats why theres switch/swap choices in the party
I’m going to have to disagree with you on Gran/Djeeta being a “master of none” with their Jack of All Trades skill set, as they actually are a master of support. No other character can output as potent heals and buffs as they can, and theirs last much longer as well.
Nobody nukes as hard as Io can. I've seen up to 3-4 million in a single charged attack. Also all you need with Eugen is nade spam. Also MC is the master at tanking with being able to use Phalanx and Substitute.
I tried Cagliostro but can't get into her. Right now I'm a hard Ferry/Rosetta main, but I want to try the tanks and will probably learn Zeta for traditional damage
also ill definitely be playing zeta. she seems like the "insect glaive" character of this game, and as i picked up the ig lately and have completely fallen in love with it, i feel obligated to try her.
Progress through the main story and check in with the merchant after every few story parts, aside from that there are 3 quests you can do that have you fight a boss character that can get you one each. Once you beat the main story, you can unlock them much easier by just trading an item for them.
The amount of self control required from my side not to purchase this game for ps5, to access early access, but instead wait for the PC release.... I may fail at any moment but I must endure.
I have the game on ps4 because my friend got it, it played several hours skipping the story to see the characters. Ferry is great. But I will stop playing on Ps4 and wait until it comes to PC.

i got it on PC, i have 0 problems been playing for a few hours. the story si pretty bad imo. its like a childrens story with cringe humor. but the gameplay is awesome

Reading a characters kit is not explaining how to play the character.

I've always been a variety player which means I will have to grind all the characters. That being said Gran may actually be the go to

Will be maining katalina...and after i master katalina ill switch to learning cagliostro...then maybe narmaya for last.....at least thats my plan

Certain quests will reward you "crewmate cards" that you give to Siero to unlock a character. You can choose anyone, so the order is up to you.
How often are recruitment tickets given?
Some are given in story missions, others in quest. Not that often, you will eventually get them all but not really fast.
