This might be patched in the future but worth mentioning for now. Currently Rosetta's Iron Maiden/Spiral Rose combo will also proc extra attacks on non-monster attackable entities such as Eugen's grenades. If you have a smart Eugen in the party who will throw 3 grenades on the floor and not detonate them during Link Time or Break burst windows, Rosetta will melt boss HP and almost certainly take MVP for the insane amount of damage this pulls. My current understanding is that if you can manage to partner with a Eugen to achieve this combo, it allows her to pull the highest DPS in the game out of any character.
This. Eugen's grenades are a pain to proc on enemies because they get stuck "deeper" into the enemy than their glowing indicator suggests. I randomly noticed them going all off at once with the rose attacks and have the two paired since.
What a nice and concise video. A lot of other guide videos go a bit too hard on the hype and "omg this does so and so damage", really nice to have someone explain the basics of how to actually play effectively.
It is quite interesting that any guide about my Queen always is about damage optimisation. Not sure why no one builds her up support oriented with quick cooldown, improved healing, stun power and link time. I just have the feeling everyone is sleeping in Stun power, cuz it actually is incredibly powerful But your guide still gave me something, when it comes to the buff range of her combo buffs and of rose barrier. I already noticed myself that people get the buffs without being in the visual range indication but i always talked it out of my head and ignoring this kinda. With that in mind, it should be a lot easier managing my rose placement and not replacing them too much
I tried making a stun build on another character and realized that outside of when I do lower geared multi-boss quests, it was largely a wasted stat. The difference between a standard 130 stun value character and a 230+ one was less than a 15% difference in time to fill the blue stun bar, and on Pyet-A, it only saved 4 seconds for breaking a part. Quick CD and Link Together are great in their on right, and I tried to emphasize this in the guide, but generally speaking, you take those to do more damage, and a lot of the times, other traits will give you more bang for buck in that department. It's probably that the game is unfortunately in a state where the difficulty is quite low and we don't yet have the quests that require us to build for these other mechanics, but I really hope they put some emphasis on these with the future raid! It would be great to have a boss with higher defense, do ton's of hard to avoid damage, or a hard to fill stun gauge so that characters and builds that provide buffs, heals, and stun can start to shine and we can start seeing more variety in building!
depending on the quest I prefer the repositioning heal over lost love, this can serve as a dps increase in most situations for agile monsters, having 2 repositions can be very handy, also lost loves 2m dmg is imo very low for the cost of dropping your plants to level 1, but thats just my opinion as a long lasting rosetta main
I knew most of it but I always enjoy these guides since I know I will learn one or two things. The color on the feet of rosetta to indicate which combo am I is really useful. So I do not have to think or count to 4 until I use my unique. Thanks 👍🏻
@@bNaturalGaming Imagine trying to time siegfried’s attack while all you can see is bahamut’s head and everyone spamming attacks , gladly I just perfect the timing so much I don’t even need to ear or look to get it right. 😂

4:08 Fun fact about Lost Love, if you fully invest into stun power, three Lv4 Roses will COMPLETELY fill the stun gauge. How do I know this? I play Rosetta as a Stunner/Support and dealing with fights that have multiple bosses are a complete joke due to how fast I can fill the stun gauge resulting in multiple Link Times.
That's awesome! I've actually tried something similar on Io too! Filling gauge on multiple targets repeatedly puts you in link time so quickly. I love that you can play and contribute in different ways other than just doing dmg :D
Why are you first person I notice that mentions the "only one buff active at once" information? I know it is visable for anyone but still...its so important to know and noone talked about it. Well done. 🎉
I tried Ferry AI and her stun/uptime is really bad, Percival was even better without any stun sigils or uplift also before I test her later, does the Bouquet reach when each characters is at the edge of the map? like Siegfried immune to debuff buff? edit - outside the topic but does Link together work even when you are damage capped already?
Linked Together doesn't increase the dmg cap of sba/cba/link attacks, so if you're already capped, it won't make them do more =[ . Would still give you the Link Gauge increase though! EDIT: Regarding the bouquet range - it has a massive range, but on larger maps like Pyet-A's, you can definitely be out of range. Percy AI seems to be pretty strong - i'm thinking of running double dash on him so he doesn't have to manually run around as much
Anybody watching this, may or may not know, that you can cycle def up and regen up between each other to keep both buff active as long as you can rotate the combos but her buffs are useless endgame 🙃
After playing around with her and seeing how good her alternate colors are I'm sold. She has some great animations as well, some characters have some silly running animations for instance that I just can't play them 😂😂 I know it's a weird deterrent but I can't help it

i think dodge skills such as sillage are too heavily disregarded yes it's not dps optimal, but it can really save your ass when you need to get out of an attack asap anyway, great guide, i'm interested in playing Rosetta but having some issues since she doesn't play like the rest of the cast
The problem with most dodge skills is that skill slots are too contested. Against hectic or dangerous cases, most attacks are either one shot kills or multiple big hits. In such cases, simply blocking or making one or two timely dodges already makes your dodge skill obsolete. Your block meter and dodge cooldown refresh so much faster than your dodge skill, which means you can spam them. The only spammable dodge "skill" is lancelot's Y attack. And in reality, you can squeeze in one or two sigils or secondary sigil traits to make those two basic defensive moves more effective. Untouchable, Improved Dodge, or even Improved Guard.
Iron Maiden only procs off autoattacks so surely you want to use it after your high cooldown skills when you go back into the Auto Attack combo? Otherwise you lose half of it casting skills
Cascade is bugged on her and doesn't work well. I tested with her attacks/plants/skills/SBA's and it doesn't seem to reduce the CD of any her of her abilities =[
gotta say, i was not liking her earlier ( i love her but her gameplay doesnt fit me) but now i see her in a new light. should've stayed with my rose queen
good guide friend keep up the good work. Only trap I will say you should avoid is advocating critical sigils and overmastery on every character. Dmg cap is Dmg cap is doesn't matter how you get there and for 80% of the roster ATK scaling especially with awakened terminus weapon is the most efficient way to cap everything. Critical hit is a waste of a slot that doesn't actually offer damage. Some characters will have absurdly high ATK caps so critical will help but that's very few of the cast. The slot can be used for quality of life sigils like improved dodge, guts etc etc. Uplift and link time are important sub stat sigils to have and not every character needs cooldown but the ones that do should max that. While it's cool to hit dmg cap it doesn't matter if you're not able to comfortably unload the damage or meet SBA timers or get link time at key moments. But its nice to see rosetta guide that isn't wasting its time smacking a test dummy that doesn't represent in game performance at all because of burst windows which she's very strong at.
yes that and I feel people over build offense and neglect quality of life sigils that just make the game easier. I play alot of Yoda for example and he has ramping ATK buff 30% thats almost always up so I really only run 1 atk sigil to cap his damage. Lot of characters get similar benefits and can take less ATK sigils to maximize DPS and have more quality of life. Also Life on the line is a better alternative to tyranny. Same boost essentially with no downsidejust might be harder to farm specific V+s@@bNaturalGaming
Terrible advice. Hitting CritChance cap is the most stat efficient way to max out DPS when DMG capped. Not critting is unnecessary damage loss. You can easily have 4-5 sigils of whatever you want for Rosetta without making her even weaker with your suggestion. At least calculate the dmg with a tool if you can't do it yourself. That is some terrible misinformation.
@@iono Yeah even with Crit, some characters have trouble hitting the cap for link damage and SBA. Plus not critting is just wasting the crit damage we get from the Stinger weapon and the 50% inherent crit rate. If you're not going for crit rate on overmastery, what will you go? SBA cap? You'll extend the cap which means you'll need more dmg sigils if you're not critting. I understand their point, and it will take a lot of testing with each character. Would be nice if the Wrightstones weren't lost when applying them to a weapon.
