Exactly my thought each and every time I watch any of these recorded shows. I could trip balls for 10 hours just watching bootleg after bootleg and be perfectly happy. Best part is Buckethead is rumored to have never done drugs, drank alcohol and even avoids coffee. Dude just got dealt a great deck of cards in life and lives in that realm w/o any outside help, LOL
I saw them on this tour in Asheville NC, tripping my BALLS off. It was life changing. Vision went completely tunnel vision during Buckets extended solo. Mind = Blown
Glad someone else hears the similarities to this band and the mothers. Sad les never worked with Zappa. It would have been an amazing experience. Kindred spirits.
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Rowan Dante i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Some are born with a neverending gift to play music with talent and Claypol and whoever guest that joins in for a concert , confirms they can play And got me up Funked up , loving drums , bass, guitar.. hooked to say never bored.. and makes for a happy me and they go on stage and there cool .. hope you see what I see .. Great music , Peace for talent
I was at this particular show... This date was in Las Vegas, Nv at the House Of Blues! Freaking amazing and mind blowing this concert! So happy to find it here.
I don’t know what you would call it but this is one of the best performances on YT. in so many ways, originality, virtuosity, feeling, funny and just trippy.
I saw this tour in Boston and Providence. Pre-show Providence waiting for doors we saw Brain along with an exceptionally tall fella that had a hood on with strings pulled in to cover his face--obviously Brain and Bucket were going to dinner, we DID NOT approach.
Eu sinceramente amo com todas as minhas forças todos os projetos paralelos do clay, na boa, acredito até ser extremamente obcecado por tudo que ele faz, aos meus olhos tudo que vem dele é incrivelmente G E N I A L !!!!!!!
Man in the beginning I could've swore I heard me some bits of " catch the rainbow" If anyone knows what I'm talking about please feel free to chime in on it. Lol. These guys sound fantastic!!!
I guess I've seen ol Claypool live more than anyone else come to think of it. Seen him with all sorts of eclectic bunches. From Primus Sucks! To Frog Brigade and beyond, but unfortunately never with ol Bucket.
Saw them in the ATL. One of the best shows I've seen. The album was garbage, but live… greatness. I went with my dad and he said it was the beat show he'd seen since pink floyd in the 70s. They started with Les on the Whammola first when i saw them, then brain joining in, then rest with a kickass jam. And also, i rememeber Gabby La La as being shorter. Guess next to bucket and Les, everyone is shorter😂. And they played 7 laws of Woo and a couple more Praxis songs
Everything you said was great, except for the album being garbage. Hard disagree. It's not the strongest album in their various discographies, but it's still a hell of a fun, trippy listen. Just got the sheer virtuosity of the playing. I'd say that it's better than a lot of Praxis or Buckethead solo albums. All that being said, I don't doubt that it was much better in a live setting, just by the nature of the music being so jam based.
Looks like a Kramer Stagemaster 8-string which has a bolt on aluminum/wood neck. Kramer aluminum neck instruments were “inspired” by Travis Beans from the 70’s
Looks like an '87 Strumphonic Picmaster w a custom titanium quantumnator neck. Pretty not sure wtf I'm talking about tho since I've never even picked up a bass.
Best band in the history of the world. RIP Bernie
The precursor PRAXIS, Bill Laswell instead of Les Claypool is also mind numbing. Check out:
Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis

Buckethead in a Michael Jackson mask is so cursed and i love it
If acid was a band

Well, there was already Funkadelic, where Bernie was already a member...
I saw them on this tour in Asheville NC, tripping my BALLS off. It was life changing. Vision went completely tunnel vision during Buckets extended solo. Mind = Blown
If the band was acid
Perfectly stated, my friend
Beautifully insane. VERY WELL DONE. It's not about "trying or being cool'. It's about executing.
Claypool gets involved in so many interesting projects, all with excellent musicians. Just awesome.
Les Claypool is my fav . listen to him all the time !
its more like excellent musicians get together with Les Claypool.
During Bernie's opening I was expecting the ghost of Frank Zappa to rise from the dead
Sounded like sabbath to me at one point.....beautiful!
Glad someone else hears the similarities to this band and the mothers. Sad les never worked with Zappa. It would have been an amazing experience. Kindred spirits.
Wow. Ive been a Buckethead and Primus fan for years and did not know this existed.
Its unbelievable
@Mr Hyde yeah. Im surprised I never learned ab it before
Then have you heard of Praxis? Bernie and Bucketheads first collab as far as I know and it is CRUSHING.Strange ,heavy af and beautiful.
@@geraldfriend256 yeah! Listened to one of their albums this week. Was very cool

bucket of bernie brains is one of the best albums ever made!
I saw them in San Diego two days after this…absolutely amazing. Met Bernie and Les after the show…one of my musical highlights for sure.
So Greatly Loved by so many....Mr. Bernie Worrell R.I.P.
Saw them on this tour, October 30 in San Francisco. They were all dressed up for Halloween and it was awesome!
Doug Jablin thank you for this everlasting Christmas gift.
Bucketheads use of delay is insane.
I saw Colonel Les claypool and bucket of Bernie brains at Bonnaroo I was blown away this s*** is even better
4,000 views and this is probably the best thing on youtube

Not the best but definitely deserves more exposure. Some top level, absolutely excellent musicianship.
@@HamzaJamzaFamza I feel that vibe. Lol
I’m still in the vibe how about that 😅
The long exposure cinematography on the drum solo is brilliant! Mucho gusto! This gang ain't no joke. Can't fake the funk!

We say that but it reality what bands have come out in the past 20 years to even come close to any of there music?

Gabby La La, who also played with Claypool in his Fancy Band
Did he get corrected for saying chick? Seriously or just teasing? You know that goes against this type music flow. No correction needed. Just flow.
