The way they are going with Isagi’s evolution has been the most satisfying thing to watch in this series,he has evolved to the point that he’s even USING Barou. The dude that looked like an unbeatable monster at the beginning of the series reduced to a distraction for Isagi to shine,that’s just pure hype!
this episode was so good because we got to see how dangerous isagi is in the enemies POV. He positions himself in the best places none of them could see coming.
Let’s be honest, the animation is extremely underwhelming but the story and hype carries this series so hard. For a sports anime, if it had Kuroko no Basket levels of animation it would be the best thing out right now (probably)

Every time we evolve, we do so to either shape ourselves with the existing environment or to overthrow it to create a 'better' one for ourselves, thus "egoist" cause every choice we make to please ourselves, might and could be deemed selfish by others, but why should one listen to the opinion of others for one is who suffers the consequences alone?

I think the animation is pretty good and don't know what people are complaining about. I've easily been more hyped throughout these past 17 episodes of Blue Lock than I ever have been throughout the entirety of Demon Slayer. Good animation doesn't make a good story.

I think the more players around that take the focus away from him, the better Isagis ability to position himself in blind spots becomes. In 2v2 it was way harder than when going up on the players count. Barou and Nagi require so much attention that Isagi can move through the shadows and position for the perfect direct shoot. Since if we win we go up in players, Isagi becomes better and better and others see his true value skyrocketing, like they did in this episode.
So is nobody talking about how not only barou was used but isagi literally dropped a BOMB from close to half court?!!?!?. He had the confidence to try that longer range shot.
