I just bought mine a month ago. 65k miles for 14.5k$. I'm second owner and bought it from a private lot that specializes in BMW's. The owner was going to put a single turbo on it so it's had an engine refresh plus 7inch FMIC, charge pipe, and HKS BOV. He then decided to procharge a vette instead. I added an MHD1+ and downpipes and couldn't be happier. I enjoy the video's. Thanks
Sounds like you picked up a nice car! I have considered going full bolt on this car several times but I also kinda have the itch for a different car. I was selling the 335is but the buyer backed out because of the Rona situation. So maybe I just keep it and do a full build on it. Thanks for the feedback on my videos! I'm glad you enjoy them!
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
Got the same exact car on our channel and we stage 1+ mhd tuned it with tial blow off valve, charge pipe and dual cone intakes and its so fast. Even when it was stock it was fast but the tune waked it up alot. Agree with all your points its a great daily and sleeper.
All Aspects Crew Nice! I watched your video a few weeks back! I have been running MHD 1+, tial BOV and VRSF charge pipe for over a year now and it’s great! I’m considering going FBO and doing some wheel and tire mods. I’m just worried the turbos will give out soonish.
@@GavinMalm same here , just a little rattle but it should last a while longer! But def going for wheels next or exterior mods! But got to love this car even with its few minor problems!
Great video! I've got a 2008 E93 335i and I've MHD Stage1, DCI, charge pipe, new belts and pullies, oil filter housing gasket and valve cover gasket done to it. The thing is a monster! My friend brought down his E92 M3 and lets just say he and l were both very surprised! It just cant keep up sub 90 MPH anything over and it will catch me and overtake. I love this car its amazing and such a sleeper, plus when the Sun's out and the roofs down singing out my gears to 7,000 RPM doesn't get much better!
I want a 335is as a weekend/road trip car. Hope to put only 3-4K miles a year and have it for many years without wearing it down just for work and grocery getting. This is my dream car.
Great car! I have since sold mine. I just uploaded a video saying why I sold it and will be uploading the reveal of my new car next week! Welcome to the channel!
Hey, great video! You've got me interested in one for my next car... can you make a video talking about those items you thought should have been done by the previous owner? Possibly like a buyer's guide to the 335is?
Hey man . I own an IS as well and love it . Not sure if u know about the hidden cigarette lighter above front passenger left thigh . Took me a year before saw it . FYI. Gotta love the german placement . 😀
If kept stock ? Would I consider this be as reliable as a n52 I drive only 2 miles everyday one road trip ones a month I don’t drive much so not worry on gas bc it has the same gas mileage as my mustang but just worried bout maintenance being stupid expensive but if stock I’m wondering if it’ll be way cheaper
Thanks for reaching out! If you keep the BMW 335is with the N54 motor stock, maintenance costs should be manageable. The N54 is a solid engine, but it's important to stay on top of regular maintenance. Just keep in mind that the N54 has had some known issues in the past, like with the high-pressure fuel pump and turbos, which can be pricey to fix. Short daily drives and infrequent road trips shouldn't be a problem, but still keep an eye on the car's performance. And don't hesitate to ask a trusted mechanic or other N54 owners for their insights too.
Thinking about getting this car it's so gorgeous but I live in the North East where snow is a problem. I'm considering an Audi s4 from the same year which is a lot more practical and still very fast if not faster than this but I'm not too sure about how it handless snow
The 335is might be ok with snow tires on it but from my experience it was absolutely terrible in the snow. There were a few time where I barely made it home! Thanks for checking out my channel!
Gavin Malm no problem I stumbled upon it after deciding I wanted this car and looked for reviews. I'm test driving an s4 later today if it doesn't wow me might just risk it and go for the 335is
Didnt want a 335i due to it being so common limited to 300tq stock. Also, didnt want m3 due to it being so raw, so i chose 335is, love every second spent in this car.
@@alirizvi5553 It wakes the car up. It has a lot of potential with just a few mods, proper fuel, and a good tune. I daily my 7spd IS with 441whp and 507tq to the wheels with the stock turbos and have a kill map that pushes it to 480whp. It's crazy how many other stock performance cars (V8 Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, F80 M3/M4, etc) it can take on once modded.
@@alirizvi5553 Without any other supporting mods you will notice a little increase in power and torque. I noticed more than anything that the power and tune is much smoother across the rev range.
@@Mango_Productions I'm really at a crossroads with he car. As I mentioned in the video I'm interested in getting a new car. The thing is I feel like I wouldn't be doing the car any justice without at least going full bolt on. My biggest complaint about the car is the lack of LSD which is the main reason I want a different car. I want something with better handing and suspension tuning.
You are kinda right and kinda wrong. The 335is from 2011-2013 used the older N54 because "BMW had more experience tuning it" at the time. It was the older version of the motor but it's also the more "tunable" version. The last cars to get the N54 were the 335is, Z4 SDrive35is, and the 1 Series M. The N55 is also a great motor.
Gavin Malm I really think E63 is the way to go - that motor is a dream, and of course the price will show that. My DD is a Corolla and hasn’t taken long for me want something else. Btw your 4Runner video was inspirational to me and part of the reason I ended up with an icon stage 7 for mine.

Bought one of these brand new and miss it all the time, loved that stock exhaust!
The stock exhaust on the IS sounds so good!

I had e92 330xd with 310 hp now i have bmw f11 520d but i can say that e92 has something that i hope f11 also have but i was wrong …
I have a 2012 335is and i just don't want to get rid of it.
I recently sold my 335is and purchased a 2015 M4. The cars are actually very similar but I'm glad I stepped up to a true M car.
I get so attached to my cars,i think when the time comes for a change to the M4 I'll still keep my 335is

Get a C63 AMG. Fast, cheap (relatively speaking) and fast as balls.
The C63 is on the radar. I have always wanted a E55 or CLS55 so I might get that out of my system. We will see here in the next couple weeks!
