This eclectic group includes guitarist Brad Buethe, bassist Peter Barshay, and drummer Brian Melvin. Long-time veterans of the NYC and San Francisco jazz scenes, FOG has mastered the art of intimate musical conversation. They blend a deeply rooted feeling for jazz with influences from other musical traditions: blues, funk, gospel, reggae and rock. I think Jeff Chimenti replaced the Dead pianist who died a couple years before Jerry did and GD was still together . btw , off the top of your head How many english words that have ch together in it that are pronounced sh ? almost all are pronounced ch as in church, itch, challenge, chunky, b!tch, rich, etcetera. Not many only Chevrolet or Chevy come to my mind and that's French pronunciation of ch with an sh sound . Chimenti is Italian and should be pronounced like Key men tea or Kee men Tee . I think it sounds better, jmho
