I am SO IMPRESSED with how you lined up the die cut letters SO evenly and straight! Yes, I know the tape trick, BUT would love to see you do that in real time! It's such a challenge to me....grrrr.
Thanks for the reminder to use the alphabet dies I have. This technique is great to use on DSP that I don't know what else to do with. It finishes the card off well, and can be quickly mass produced if I type the letters together to use over and over.
I saw the 2nd video 1st! This is GREAT... I overthink a Lot... and, I Don't do a lot of older techniques... I only use washi, for holding dies. Lol. This gives me a "NEW" idea. Funny- I've been making art and cards, over 40 years.... Q/A: Jenny's one layer masked card technique. Yours: The Washi Tape card-2-fer...
Thank you for this lovely tutorial this collaboration is seems like it is a magical treat for the viewer. I get the feeling that if the two of you would meet and pool that divine creativity together the outcome would be beyond majestic.. each one of you are richly gifted and very talented but sometimes two creative people can trigger each other and reach heights no one even knew existed,
Thrilled you have done another video collaboration on this. I am very much into my art journaling at present & crafting prolifically, but when I need cards, I'm struggling with ideas. After I've made one, I always think, damn, why didn't I make it using this, that etc. I try to have a technique book so I don't forget. I love interactive cards best, but with these current times, I don't want to queue in a post office to send them. This is being saved into my playlist with last year's 😊❤ stay safe
Great cards! I love your galaxy BG technique - need to give that a try again. The technique I always forget about is using my embossing folders for a subtle background.
It has been a very long time since I used my watercolor crayons on floral stamps, misted with water, and stamped that way. Its a beautiful technique that I need to do more of
Hi Justine, with the last card if you had splattered it with water, left it for a minute then patted it with a paper towel it would have lifted off some of the black soot ink to reveal the colours underneath, that is what I would have done but your finished card looks good though 🌸
Great video!! This really had me thinking. I used to LOVE painting images with bleach on colored cardstock and I can't tell you the last time I have done that!!! I also used to use ultrafine glitter and color images with my alcohol markers, and I have gelatos I havent used in yrs and also embossing folders!! Ok ma'am, now you have my brain turning!!! 🤦
I love you’re videos, I’ve just started my utube channel ..craft a magical life, with Linda christine, It’s been so fun, you really inspire me as you are super creative . thankyou all the way from New Zealand .. I look forward to your next awsome video.
LOVED this video. That washi tape is SO incredibly gorgeous. Such great techniques. I don't spotlight letters enough.... I forget to use markers all the time. 😆😍😘 Off to watch Jenny's video....
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Ben Ronnie i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
thank you for sharing your card tips, I am really like the way you have your pegboard in the studio, where do you purchase the pegs and storage containers?
I loved the last card where you deliberately made a mistake to illustrate the proper technique, but went ahead and used it. Nobody would know that was even a mistake!
Nice!!! What I recently rediscovered was ink on ink cards. Put three or four colors of ink on a plastic wrap, splash it spray some water. Get your card through it randomly and also get a cut out stamp through it, so your cut out has the same colors as the background. Then glue the cut out on your card and add a sentiment.

I like the raised letters tech. the best, how it blends with the background is very neat
Thanks for the reminder to use the alphabet dies I have. This technique is great to use on DSP that I don't know what else to do with. It finishes the card off well, and can be quickly mass produced if I type the letters together to use over and over.

I like ink blending and then a darker color using a stencil. Thanks for inspiring me.
