I wish there was some place to see this interview complete. This was such a landmark interview. Cornell is so passionate and well spoken, probably at first being in front of one of his heroes and being in awe at first then just getting comfortable and having a fascinating with peer. A legend but still a peer. Just a pleasure for any real rock fan to watch. Anyone know where I can see this complete interview, uninterrupted?
I remember when I first saw this about a year and a half ago. I was so impressed that CC was such a through interviewer. I have so much respect for Chris AND, of course Jimmy. RIP Chris, you were a legend in you're own right.
Visionary!!! He assembled a band, a brilliant band, recorded the 1st record, a great record with a sound no one at that time had heard and toured the UK & US, all within 6 months of 1968? Who can do that that now??? He finished the year of 68 playing in New York.....and then just fookin boooooom!!!! Jack Black was so right "best band.....ever!!!"
It's astonishing!!! You look at Chris he looks so sweet and pleasant, really sweet guy!!! Who am I kidding?! I just can't get over his passing, so hard man!!! It's unimaginable that his life would end such a horrible way, sadness just kills you...

Yeah,it's funny how people like to compare Chris's vocals to Dio.But when I listen to Soundgarden I always thought more of Robert Plant.Hell Chris moreso in the old days sings with his shirt off alot just like Plant likes too.Add the heavy riffs Soundgarden does.Its very Led sounding.

Fire the audio-visual production dregs who recorded this shambles of an interview. Never hire these clowns again! The audio is too low; the mics are panning away each time jimmy shifts in his seat. The overhead lights that are beating down on Jimmy's head which you did for dramatic effect, are really unnecessary. They are causing him to perspire (he keeps wiping his forehead with his hanky, I could actually feel the heat myself) and for someone his age this could escalate into a problem far worse than just being hot under the collar. Overall, just such a poor production value. You needed to put him in a relaxed state, not an interrogative state! Rookies.
