142 cm equals 4 feet 7 inches. And that paddle seems to be a bit taller than you.. 😉
Welcome to the metric system 😜

I don't think I would. I like the mobility out of the water. When I duck hunt I use a pull behind sled that floats. But for the most part it carry's what I need, and its still small enough my wife likes to paddle it. It fits our lifestyle.

I have one and the netting front and back is a pain when fishing
Put pipe instillation under your seat on the rails or will wear a hole thru the boat over time.

Brian Roedl taking mine out Friday as well...
I had put my net in the back under the netting had a 12lb bass right by kayak and went to grab the net... even though had half of the ascend netting undone couldn't get my net out of the back lost the fish.... so since then took the netting off the boat.. the front ascend netting took it off so when I get moss on my lure can put the butt end of my rod into it so can pull off moss from lure.
I also bought a Gorilla Tree-stand seat cushions and put on top of my seat... I usually fish 6-8 hours in the kayak each time I go, helps cushion my rear end.

Great review! I was looking at one of these for back country camping in Manitoba Canada. Do you think it would be hard to carry over portages? Also I've heard there is a lot of side you side movement during paddling, is there an aftermarket rudder for that?

Spot on about adding support/padding for the seat contacts. I have an Ascend FS10 that's 5 years old, and the stress of the seat finally cracked the bottom of the kayak this summer. Was able to JB Weld the cracks to last the rest of summer but I think it's toast. The main reason I'm skeptical on getting the H10 but I just love the canoe hybrid idea.

@@johnnylawrence bass pro offers a extended warranty for life if anything happens but it was expensive. I probably should of done the warranty but be prepared it's like around the $250-$350 mark for the warranty.
