Everything about this video is comforting, the decoration, the candles, the ambiance, the lighting, your vibe, the movies you're talking about! Ahh it makes me want to make my home even cozier, as much as I can ❤ cause I moved in at the beginning of the month

- pride and prejudice (2005) : ah the romance is unmatchable
- sense and sensability (1995) : somehow being involved in family dramas of old days is so cosy
- whisper of the heart (ghibli) : ah again, the cute young romance, the stunning drawings, the dreamy feel
- a tale of summer (eric rohmer) : the cosiness of a summer holiday and just watching ppl casually living their lives
- phantom thread : something about watching danial day lewia is so comforting, also the romance
- julie & julia : it's the cutest story, watching a person fulfilling their potentials, and I love cooking
- frances ha : again watching frances realising her self and sort of "coming of age"
- the english patient : it just transfers me to another world, the places and costumes are so beautiful, and again the romance

my go to comfort films are the first twilight movie, little women, moana, pride and prejudice, lovehard, the holiday, and a monster in paris. some of them are v embarrassing but if i feel comforted, who cares :)

- Pitch perfect : great sorority, a bit of love and a lot of great songs
- The holiday : I can watch a Christmas movie every time of the year
- Brooklyn 99 : a light and fun serie
And everything that is cheesy romance that I’ve already seen because in those moments I cannot watch a new movie 😅

This probably seems cliche because it's set in Ireland and you're Irish, but I watched Waking Ned Divine the other night and it was golden all the way through. It has instantly become one of my favourite movies! It is so wholesome and funny and gives off the best seaside-village-in-Ireland vibes. Some other comforts are Big Night (with Stanley Tucci) and Moonrise Kingdom.

I love hearing about what other peoples comfort films are. I don't think you have to worry about doing more film based vlogs. There are a lot of film buffs out there and i bet a lot of your subscribers love film as well! i am one of them.
Me after almost every comfort movie mention in this video: 'me too!!!!! yess!!!!! of course!!!!' I wrote my dissertation of Greta's 'Little Women' and can't watch it without crying or grinning. It's so perfect in every way. 'How to Train Your Dragon' is eliteeeee, as is Ratatouille. My fave rom-com and cry-to movie is 'When Harry Met Sally'. There's just such nostalgia and warmth to it. I did a Matt Damon marathon week with my sister where we watched as many Matt Damon movies we could (many we've seen so many times cuz we love him) but Le Mans 66 was tense & so well done...

...When it comes to the movie I've watched the most though... and that maybe comes under that embarrassing title, would be Frozen 2. Not the first, but the second. The colours, the emotions, the soundtrack are simply perfect. When i'm ill, when I'm sad, when I'm bored, or can't sleep- its Frozen 2. I loved watching this video Meg, I love everything you create :)
