i would say it's the same processes it's just been masked with more difficult wording or requires multiple skills, it depends what you're talking about specifically but the principle is the same! if there's a question in particular you're asking about lmk, but if you expose yourself to the "hard" questions and learn any mistakes you make by using the mark scheme/ walkthroughs then in your exam you won't find it hard because you've done a question similar to it before xx hope that helped🤍
i know everyone says alevel maths is hardd but i'd say alevel maths is as hard as any other alevel... every single alevel just requires time from you, so if you give lots of time to alevel maths practice questions you WILL find it easier. and as for translating over, i'd say gcse is just the foundational knowledge you do learn a lot of new stuff, the only 'translating' things are at the start of year 12 xx

i wish i found this earlier omg i have my paper 1 igcse exam on the 16th of may and im terrifiedddddd i always manage to mess up the questions which makes me doubt what i actually know i feel like its too late 😭😭
aww, its okay, since you have multiple papers you can always improve your overall grade. do not worry about the past. its not too late until the exam time. see what you're messing up but watching live exam question walkthroughs and ask for help with frequently "messed up" questions. hope that helped, you can do it xxxx
I’m pretty sure I’ll get a grade 9 for my IGCSEs but if they raise the grade boundaries I’m not so sure. I hope this vid helps, my maths exams are in a week or so!

Is there something that you would strongley reccomend after doing maths geneie because i have completed the topic questions and the past PAPERS FROM 2018. I struugle to think differently in the exam. like apparently you are ment to look at the question from a differnt perspective to see what application fits the best and honestly im literally struggling with that. What would you reccomend ?
thank you lovely! you can definitely achieve a grade 8 if you want it. after mathsgenie I would recommend PAST PAPERS so you can practice thinking on the spot, under time pressure and with exam specific styled questions. yes it is important to see what application fits best but this you develop the skill of knowing what application to use by DOING MORE QUESTIONS and MARKING/ CHECKING ERRORS. hope this helped xx

i litch just download the file/ questions to my files app on my ipad!! it's not a particular app although i know some people use good notes x
