Sweet, you won't be disappointed. The high torque is a monster for those really tough jobs. The warranty is another great feature. Just be sure to register and contact lsa if a problem ever occurs. I took a 5" sander back to home depot, and they replaced it with no questions... I luckily had them print out a receipt. Otherwise it would have voided the lsa. When I talked to ridgid she told me they aren't supposed to do that, but because I was not leaving without a receipt and they printed one for me, it was going to be fine. The lsa on the new one went through
@WHO WHO WALKWA they gave me a new sander to replace the one I ruined, and I almost walked out without a receipt... But I made the print out a new receipt and called the Lsa, she told me if I wouldn't have gotten a new receipt with the exchange then I wouldn't have been able to register the tool. So, sometimes you can take the tool to home depot and ask if they will swap for a new one, if you find a nice and cool manager, they will just swap it and print a new receipt. They aren't supposed to, but she said as long as they give you a receipt, it'll still qualify for the lsa. Long story short, call the lsa people before doing anything with a broken tool.
@WHO WHO WALKWA nah, it's super easy. I might film a walkthrough video if there isn't one already. I registered 7 different tools and batteries last night in about 20 minutes. Reason, we had women and children in the room, when you began cussing everyone was giving us dirty looks like we should have known better. Mount your camera 1. Bouncy video is difficult watching and quickly becomes annoying, for many folks it is spastically disconcerting. As an example while sitting or standing begin bouncing your head while at the same time you are looking left-right-up-down, not good. 3.You can use both hands as well.
What profanity? Grow up. If you are so delicate that you cannot hear a single curse word then life is going to be really tough for you. Words only have power if you grant it to them... so suck it up buttercup.
This model actually has 620ft-lbs breakaway/485ft-lbs fastening! that’s a LOT of torque, so if you had to use a chrome-non impact rated sockets you should’ve at least wear protective goggles. chrome sockets not intended fr use with impact tools and will shatter on you some serious physical injury.. although, it’s a great demo. on those rusted lug nuts! I have this tool and all I can say about it is all pros with no cons.. PeRfeCt .
I usually do wear safety glasses. But these sockets are way stronger than you think. The only one I've ever broken was the 17mm and I was putting all of my weight on a breaker bar. But I think that socket was a dud. I've done the same thing with other sockets and the breaker bar snapped off. The force necessary to break that big of a socket is way more than this tool or resistance of the fasteners could provide. Impact sockets are softer and wear out more quickly. I will purposefully try to break them and see what the limits are. Btw, they are the craftsman line from around 2000-2005, can't remember when I bought them.
I was surprised that socket didn't shatter but I've really beaten on the old Craftsman sockets and they almost always held up. I've shattered more Snap On's than anything but I shouldn't have been using em on my impact in the first place.

I know, right? All the tool testers used test benches and lag bolt and crap. But I'm not a tool tester. I actually use mine. It's right there with the milwaukee mid torque. The high torque is better than milwaukee
Anyone try this on Honda Crankshaft Bolt?
This and many will have trouble removing Ferrari down to Honda's Crankshaft Bolt.
I wouldn't know
You really should be using a 6 point for rusty nuts. Ridgid is essentially a Milwaukee in Orange. They have great products! Far superior than Ryobi...
I couldn't find my impact sockets, ridgid is a good brand with an excellent warranty
I got this one and the 1500 high torque
Is the high torque nice?
Oh wow man.😃
$149.99 at home Depot with battery and charger right now 😂
Not bad, mine came with 2 3ah batteries
welp it seems like I dont have to buy the octane battery 🙌
If you do, get 6ah or 9ah. The only reason I have 4 3ah batteries is because they came with my impact wrench and router as kits.
@@InNerdimensional Looks like thats the same exact one I just ordered from Homedepot for $149, it comes with the 4ah battery. Seems like that's all I'll need 😅
Actual video starts at 6:37. You’re welcome
This is what happens when you don't script
ain't a torture test if you put penetrating oil on it
I only put it on 2, and one I didn't have the right socket. Wouldn't have made any difference cuz it didn't even penetrate
I'm going to see about getting a milwaukee impact and comparing the two
Does milwaukee offer a mid torque with the same specs?
@@InNerdimensional I'm not sure, I know they have a mid torque. I'd have to find somewhere to go and remove a bunch of fasteners off rusty junk.
@@Barbaratio I have a few videos where I use it for jobs, but I don't have much other rusty shit laying around. It took off 30mm axle nuts pretty easily, and they were super rusty
Only Milwaukee 👍
I almost got milwaukee, but they couldn't match the price I got my ridgid tools. The high torque is actually more powerful than the milwaukee
NO! Not a 12 point socket on an impact! You're asking for trouble. You're just gonna round shit off
It didn't though, and I broke a big breaker bar trying to remove those nuts before
@@InNerdimensional those are higher grade steel nuts so they won't round off as easy as say a ball joint nut or differential cover bolts. That's what happened to me, I was taking the cover off my rear differential and was using 12 point and when the socket lost its grip it just rounded the hell out if the bolt head and I had a horrible horrible time getting it out without damaging the differential
@@ericg4915 I've never had that happen with my craftsman sockets. If that's ever happened to me, it's from using the wrong size. I bet that was a pain without those special sockets, I feel for ya there
Just ordered this one as well. Also did a review on the new High Torque Impact Wrench

Check it out...would love to know your thoughts!
Buy yourself some real impact sockets...
I have some, not that big though. They get destroyed faster than the older craftsman sockets
@@InNerdimensional Buy the best Chrome Molybdenum sockets, not any inferior Chrome Vanadium ones...
@@JB-ot9hi I'm working on building up my wood working tools right now. I'm in need of a table saw router table...ect
Suggestion: When we began watching your video we thought it would be about the impact wrench, but the profanity ruined it.
3.You can use both hands as well.
grow a pair buddy swearing is very fucken common nowadays it’s a joke if ya can’t watch a video cause of a “cuss” word.
Dislike 👎 for your profanity.
What profanity? Grow up. If you are so delicate that you cannot hear a single curse word then life is going to be really tough for you. Words only have power if you grant it to them... so suck it up buttercup.
Oh boy he said fuck two times... god forbid you hang around someone whovwas in the marines or spend time with a master chef like Gordon Ramsay.
