A passengers bill of rights has been stalled in Congress as the result of airlines lobbying. The airline is not protected in a common law court which could award substantial damages for the harm inflicted on the passenger.
Lovely young lady, her dad must be proud of her. She and her entire family must be in shock, and her poor father well, beyond belief. The CEO must, must go, he is the head of the snake he must go, RESIGN, NOW. I hope the family sue for multi millions, they all deserve it. Good luck to all of them.

I have taken united airlines to come to Asia and I have to say how disappointed I was when I boarded the plane. For one it was full, all seats were taken there were at least 350 passengers on this flight and there was hardly any room to keep my items under my seat. Then the plane was absolutely dirty! I could see food stuck in the rear of my seat and coffee spilled on the wall, food on the floor and not to mention the bathroom which looked worse then a public restroom. The flight attendants acted like they were the owners of the plane, skies and all the passengers. When they did their final check up thru the rows they had such a angry look on their faces, and walked around demanding people and treating passengers like we were slaves rather then actual human beings. I am so bumped that I have to go thru this experience again on my way back from Asia. By all means I will NEVER fly with this poor airline!

McDonald's coffee was too hot that caused severe burn. Most fast food restaurants has a temp policy to prevent such injury.
