Honda civics will be a golden classic. Hated by many, appreciated by enthusiasts. Sensible drivers know the potential of these cars. Love this family by the way.
Chris Hartley exactly! There’s an older guy that looks just like this guy that frequents my local cars and coffee. He has an old mini that’s built to the T’s and it has all those club stickers on it.
Speechless on how well this car is "finished", the welding, the paint, the engine bay and attention to detail👌👌👌. Just wish he would have done one full send so we could hear that engine sing.
It makes me happy to see some of my old ClubSi SouthWest forum friends getting attention these days and still doing the Honda game. I almost bought a B16 swapped CRX from Jesse and my buddy bought that White EG that was in the photos and brought it up to Oregon after that and tracked it a ton. Jesse and his pops are good peoples! AZ represent! :D
Man the old man! holy moly I didn't even recognize him with his beard man that was one of the fastest time attack Civics N/A and his car used to be white the first time I saw when I was 18 and I am 30 now super cool guy
The fact this is in Arizona means everything! Anyone who’s from AZ and Tempe yo be specific knows our car scene is HUGE in JDM cars & Japanese cars 😬 there’s meets all the time in Arizona I love our car culture 💯🔥
This build is so sick. And its crazy that its a build that has evolved over the course of a decade. I bought my first eg cx back in 2005 when I saw one in super street. Crazy how far hondas and their modifications have come since then. Also, its so cool seeing an older dude killing it with jdm vehicles. Huge thumbs up 👍
Fell in love with the eg when my buddy blew a cylinder at 400k miles and drove it 1200 more miles with no oil in it til it lost a second cylinder. Spent $400 on a motor with 98k on it, drove it to go pick it up, that motor never actually quit, and got sold itself for $250... a bone dry two cylinder... the d-series really puts most motors to shame with their durability, and I've seen plenty of hondas playing in the woods on atv trails, mine included, and we always get laughs, but they're always surprised how far we can follow
I'm not an import fan but OMG that is a fabulous fantastic import fanatics dream car right there. Much respect to the gentleman who put Time blood sweat and tears into that. I've only been watching for 18 minutes 19 minutes now and everything I seen so far is flawless. I am an Audi gentleman myself so I guess you can say I do like imports but my Audi A7 Avant is all custom except for a few minor tweaks and additions to give it a little extra torque and that car right there would eat me for breakfast and s*** me out without a doubt. And my car on the quarter mile runs 10.42 so it's fast but I would like to make it faster.
Phil (beard guy) was my boss back in the day. I remember this car in the parking lot bone stock, it blows my mind away how far this car has come!! Cheers fellas!!
You have the absolute best cars on your part of the channel, hands down. Alot of the older stuff reminds me of the nor cal /Daily City/San Fran builds of 2000..
I like that its quiet and its boosted on idle. The was the best thing to me. Without the hood exit and maybe a anodized black intercooler you can have people guessing.
Philip is Mr. Old Man Honda! What cool people and even cooler car. Wow, love your work. Giving me more and more inspiration for when I start my dream builds
Had to come back and finish this video. Man congrats in the build. Super dialed in. I hope to one day get my sti to that level. Like he said it never ends

Congratulations to Phil for finally getting his car put in GT7 today. It’s my new favorite car to drive in the game over my k swapped ek
It's such a beautiful car
Getting older now, I’ve found my way back to Hondas. I’ve come to appreciate the clean, thoughtout builds now. With that said, this build is a beast!
Honda civics will be a golden classic. Hated by many, appreciated by enthusiasts. Sensible drivers know the potential of these cars.
Love this family by the way.
💯
Could be said about a lot of brands tho
@@lonetrader1
Yes, but at least Honda's can be economical to restore/build.
And so do the thieves.
And so do the thieves.
Dang! This thing is sweet! Gotta love older gen Hondas.
90's honda & acura will live forever. when they're built right theyre so much fun.
And the older gen car people too
Now this is finally in Gran Turismo 7! I wish I kept my wife '90 EF hatch.
The old dude is cool i wasn't expecting him to be into jdm rigs
I was looking for that comment.
He doesn't even look like a hotrod guy. he looks like the kind of car guy that has a vintage MG or Jag that has all those club badges on the grill.
Looks like he got jag on the lift getting a wide body!?
@@chrishartley6411 I think it's a 914

@@chrishartley6411 that's a 914 ...
Yep! 914! 🤙
Now I'm having a LOT of fun with this beauty in GT7
I’m not a Honda guy but can enjoy a great build when I see them. I love seeing fathers and sons sharing the same passion building anything 👍
Wow, that kit makes 17s look so good it blew my mind
I don’t even want to imagine 17s on a stock body eg hahaha but these regas are perfect on this build
Larry is “cool” he reminds me of the popular guy in school who actually treated everybody well instead of being exclusive. I love ❤️ the positivity
Speechless on how well this car is "finished", the welding, the paint, the engine bay and attention to detail👌👌👌. Just wish he would have done one full send so we could hear that engine sing.
Car still has more evolutions to grow through before being it's final form
Lary is by far the most legit Hoonigan guy. By a longshot.
He should ditch that crew tbh
It's been years, but it's finally coming to gran turismo
Im so putting the manual trans in this bitch as soon as it comes out
The old man got style for his age. Respect him and his son. The car is beautiful with an aggressive look.
Larry is a dude who's truly passionate, a great photographer and a true asset to the car/tuner/enthusiasts community.
Just got gold on the TT in GT7 with this car! Such a beast!!!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Literally the nicest and chillest dudes in the world too. Love the Robles.
Come hang brother! 🤙🤙

That feeling when learning that drifting a minivan started BOSO's legacy!
😂❤️❤️. Come drink beers this weekend
Larry always getting best cars to feature 🤩
Owners are so great and you can tell they love this car
Man the old man! holy moly I didn't even recognize him with his beard man that was one of the fastest time attack Civics N/A and his car used to be white the first time I saw when I was 18 and I am 30 now super cool guy
The white one was my old one. Different car (Robles jr). This ones always been phantom grey 🤙🤙. That’s rad you remember the white one!
The great Mr. Robles. I remember his car from nwp4life.
Yes sir!!!! NWP4LIFE FORUMS were awesome and learned a lot from the site in general...can we go back to '07 again!?
This has to be the most badass civic iv ever seen. Most well done civic builds are cool but this one is just pure badass
Massive Honda enthusiast here.. What a build, love it!
The fact this is in Arizona means everything! Anyone who’s from AZ and Tempe yo be specific knows our car scene is HUGE in JDM cars & Japanese cars 😬 there’s meets all the time in Arizona I love our car culture 💯🔥
Best looking eg hatch ive ever seen . And ive seen alot of them. This is done right.

Honda kept this guy young man... I can only hope to be this kind of father to my children man that’s awesome
Thank you for featuring this amazing build!! Can't wait to see more!
This is a very well done Honda that's kind of a rare sight. It's refreshing .
Sitting here recovering from covid, this shit cheers me up, Yesssss... I need them wheels in my life..
I love how the dent strip is incorporated into the fender flares. Nice little touch to keep that Honda flavor
This civic series is one of my dream car since highschool
Dream build
It is very very rare and amazing to see an old American hot rod guy turn so much into the JDM, even more the Honda scene
Fell in love with the eg when my buddy blew a cylinder at 400k miles and drove it 1200 more miles with no oil in it til it lost a second cylinder. Sick I saw this in person when it was at SEMA in 2017 glad to see a update on it, fell in love with it when I saw it and still has came a long way.
Phil is a legend. Love the Honda of Canada badge on the rad support and the Enjoy It! Motorsports sticker on the ECU.
What an awesome old school dude. This was one of my favorite episodes yet.
What a cool tiny little shop filled with some cool cars, but I really enjoyed your guys photos and this edit.
The old dude is a treasure, I truly enjoyed his story about how he fell in love with Honda.

Always have to appreciate Larry's awe and seincere love of autocultura. Big ups bro!!
I work with Phil. Super cool guy very down to earth and he knows his stuff!
dude idk if that his wife or not behind him there at the beginning but her looking at him is the cutest shit I've seen in a while.
Yep that’s the momma! Haha thanks man. I’ll tell her you said that 😁
Insane eg hatch car build . Best one yet 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I've also lived on okinawa & it really influenced my love for the jdm scene
The content Larry is always great...and the EDIT'S under rated, your edits are great fun and seamless.
Thank you
Phil (beard guy) was my boss back in the day. I remember this car in the parking lot bone stock, it blows my mind away how far this car has come!! Cheers fellas!!
That digital instrument panel(gauges) is so sweet!
I love hondas but I really like the old ones 1979 2 door hatch that are done out. 👍
garage rcr civic getting added to gt7 brought me here 😉
Geezus christ! What a bunch of cool dudes too. Many blessings you guys!
Who came here after Gran Turismo 7 update on 9-27-23??
I did👍😁
I am a true Honda lover
I am not a true Honda lover but I do love that car. Nice job gentleman.

Wish I had some money to make my Honda look like that one 😍
i swear desmonds and hondas go hand in hand everytime

"Still planning on making it crazyer". Life goals people, life goals.
What a great Father and Son team!
I'm not sure what I'm more jealous of, the car or the beard.
One of my favorites, BZ Larry, you and your protege do wonderful photography/ videography!
Been following this car for years.
I’m out of the Honda game , but I can say that I’m glad to see someone build a good looking fast Honda and not a rust bucket with a kseries!

Big respect with the STOCK BLOCK k24 that's incredible.

I aspire to be like this older gentleman when I’m of his age🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Not the biggest Honda fan but I have to say this hatch is absolutely amazing!! Hell of a build my friend
The car is almost as amazing as this guy's beard!
David Letterman is a Honda boii. I knew it!
Just my thought.
Dam That s14 240sx in the background looks very very clean
I wanna be Phil when I grow up.
Sounded good and not as raspy as some 4 cyl. Curious as to what exhaust he was running
Its just a basic custom 3 inch stainless into a j's racing muffler! Thanks!
Those 2 silvias in the back look both minty as **** ! dope vid !
Definitely one of if not my favorite hatch. Hopefully one day I'll be to the point of having my twin engine civic featured places.
I'm eyeballing that 914 up on the rack....looks sick!
I saw dat too! i bet most people didnt notice it
Had to come back and finish this video. Man congrats in the build. Super dialed in. I hope to one day get my sti to that level. Like he said it never ends
This was amazing to watch, so much passion for the build. Thanks guys!
Man, Sick. I've loved this car since the first time I saw it on Automotive Anatomy
So sweet! Yes, tell them to bring it to Texas next Feb for the Super lap Battle @ COTA!
That Old Man has got it figured out, Just Build your dream, don't cut corners and enjoy it!
No Doubt, The ILLEST EG That EVER EXISTED!!!! ⚡⚡⚡
Okinawa Japan was my FIRST Tour in The Marine Corps and Introduction to The Skyline GTR32!
Insane car and lovely coverage! Thanks guys.
They just added this car in Gran Turismo 7
Honestly love this channel thx for showing the best cars in the world to us
Music for the intro was awesome!
Although I love stock body OEM+ civics you can't deny this car is sick, can't even be mad with the widebody considering its functional.
That car is so sick! The shop is amazing, as well.
The best hoonigan channel on RUclips.
These guys from Arizona is so jdm they're even into anime
Best looking civic hands down
Love this Honda and Phil is just such a down to earth person
Thanks for this interview! It was awesome!
Showing the R-Crew love though Sun!!!! Danny Phanny and the Squad!!!! 🙏
Such a badass build! 🙏Thank You!
I normally hate Pandem kits with a passion but it actually flows with the the hatch lines. The worse car you can put this kit on hands down any E30.
We finally got a Autofocus's video after the hoonigan's livestream tour of this shop.
He cut a chargespeed fender to make it wider. Nice. 😯
Now that’s a build right there. I wish someday to be able to build a monster like that.
