Awesome video you hit the jackpot i thought that christine was going to be your third chase piece i found one today on the pegs a metallic gloss red i was stoked congrats
I had to come back and see this again now that I've picked up a few of these - Autoworld has a great website too where you can see the color variations and enter in your collection. Great explanation of the chases -thanks.
Dan M Thank you very much! I can't wait for the next wave of Autoworld cars.... maybe there is some info on the website telling us when they will be released.
LOL When u got that chase u were sooo pumped. I WOULD BE ALSO ! AND ANOTHER WOW ! awesome new auto world stuff. Love the wagons. I have a couple case coming also. Great to see u back
Just a little fact the Christine in the movie was a 1958 Plymouth belvedere but since people of the time might have not seen that car they could say it was a plymouth fury just a little fact
Great vehicles here. I love Auto World. I really want the Green Light casting that was made special of Chicago Police cars. Also have to say this, im so sick of mustangs. The ultra premium cases of Auto World have way too many mustangs.
Brilliant look at the AutoWorld diecast cars man. They look amazing. Congrats on the chases! That's so awesome! I noticed AW packed the cars in cases with some paper separators to keep the blisters nice. That is a genuine sign they care about how the product arrives to the consumer. AW haven't really shown up here yet, but then again JLs weren't available here previously too. Will look out for them though. Thanks for the review.
Wal Mart carries the autoworld for 4.97 in TX. I just found these yesterday and picked up the blue 64 Galaxie since I have a galaxie. I got it home and noticed the Country squire on the back so I will have to be on the hunt for that one also.... would like to see the country squire chase one.
Do you worry about the little imperfection on the paint of the cars like little nicks and chips if there is any? I have noticed some cars have this and I'm sure its from the factory. Does it affect the value? Nice stuff! Thank you
BoothCovers.com Sometimes I do worry about more noticeable what I call "flaws" that you may see right from the factory on otherwise mint cars. It definitely affects value on older more rare cars, and most likely will on newer ones too. If the flaw isn't that bad, it can be overlooked but never completely discounted. Thank you for the question!
A chase car is like a treasure hunt is to Hot Wheels. It is basically a very low production car that is randomly inserted into 1 out of every 10 cases of cars, so essentially they are 10 times harder to come by then the regular color for the casting that is the chase. They call them chase cars because collectors have to chase them down to complete their collections to 100%.
That's a bunch of sweet rides. Gonna keep my eyes peeled for those station wagons and the wrecker. I love wierd castings. Thanks for the show. I been posting vids on kenners lately too. I dig lost or wierd castings also.
***** Indeed I have ordered the latest waves of AW cars, fingers crossed for a chase car (or two!) once again. I should have the cars in about 2 weeks or less, and I will be making a video of them just as soon as I can crack those cases! Thanks for the comment!
Congrats on the chase. Even in the US, Autoworld cars are hit and miss depending on the store. Not all Wal-Marts seem to stock them and Toys'R'Us are horrendous at keeping stock.
There is a lot of competition in the diecast market right now, it must be difficult for a big-box chain style store to commit to one or a few brands. It would be awesome if they just stocked everything, because we collectors would surely buy it all anyway!
Packaging looks fantastic - plus the cars are real sweet - do you think you will ever open one or a few some day? That Pontiac Firebird chase is another sweet addition. Thanks for sharing.
It is tempting to open them, although they do display very nicely as they are on my wall currently in packaging. If I had doubles of them I would certainly open the second, but the only double I have is of the Christine car. For these reasons I guess that I will not be opening any in the near future, as I can only afford to buy one of each right now.
great vid....love those station wagons......I might just collect those.....love love love the durastar tow...that's awesome!!!!!!!....love your vids......you have some awesome stuff......and that room......beautiful....
I bought the first 3 Top Gear BBC series . I'll post them in a bit. But your right , Auto World is awesome , great castings . I started to collect them too. I think their worth the price. Great video
Yes, the hobby does bring out the kid in us! Very cool cars - especially the wagons, and what a great reaction to an awesome surprise. Thanks for sharing those beauties.
Do you have a close up of the car shelf in the background? Mind telling me what that is or how you made it please.I need something like that for my community racing room :D Awesome Chase find im so jelly yes way better then the Hotwheels finds
+Michael David Cilantro The cases are made by a company called Plano... model 5324. They haven't been produced in years now unfortunately, although still available with some online searching.... not cheap anymore. They used to cost me $6 at WalMart.
Thank you so much for all your information and the way you present everything. I've always loved building models and enjoyed my old Matchbox, and HotWheels days. And I know I will never be able to afford the real full sized cars anymore (no where to put them anyway) but how neat is this that someone is building them to look more authentic. That was always my issue with small scale. These are beauties and you sir are a gem for sharing! Love to see more.
Thank you very much for the compliment and message! I do love the Auto Worlds and will continue to share the new castings with you as they are released. I also used to build model cars, but haven't in quite some time due to space and time constraints. It sure would be nice to have many 1:1 cars but like you said, space and money is an issue, LOL. Except for Jay Leno, he figured out both of those problems.
Awesome video you hit the jackpot i thought that christine was going to be your third chase piece i found one today on the pegs a metallic gloss red i was stoked congrats
I love the black tinted windows of Christine.
Great opening video and chases Buddy! Found the 2011 Hennessey Camaro chase in the wild from the Road & Track series.
Black auto world caddy is sick. I love the wagon too but I'm sure I will like all of them thow.
Just got my first two auto worlds, '66 Mercury Cyclone, and '64 Ford galaxie, very impressed with them!
I had to come back and see this again now that I've picked up a few of these - Autoworld has a great website too where you can see the color variations and enter in your collection. Great explanation of the chases -thanks.

Thanks for stopping by my friend! I'm waiting for your next video! Have you still been buying the vintage?
nice chase pieces!! that Chistine car is minty mint mint.. call me crazy but those Auto Worlds are arguably the nicest castings on the market...
This is the video that lit a fire under me to begin collecting again.
Just a little fact the Christine in the movie was a 1958 Plymouth belvedere but since people of the time might have not seen that car they could say it was a plymouth fury just a little fact
I've been trying to stay away from AutoWorld's offerings, because I know that I'll be sucked into it... they look exceptional! Awesome additions!

Thank you very much! I do hope you are able to find some, I'm sure you and the gang would love them too.
Wow it is like my dream came true. I wish I get them all. Please tell vendor link.

MrTrenbo It sure would be a "cherry ride" (the chase cars are all a deep metallic cherry red). LOL
The auto world trans am is the best thow.
I've been waiting a year for my auto world christine it's not shipping.
im goonna try and get all of those except for the corvette c6 and the mustangs

Muscle Wagons lolololololololololol revisionist history at it's best. Or more likely AW trying to sell at all costs. Embarrassing.
Hi mate, I am from the UK and have no idea what a 'chase car' is.
A chase car is like a treasure hunt is to Hot Wheels. It is basically a very low production car that is randomly inserted into 1 out of every 10 cases of cars, so essentially they are 10 times harder to come by then the regular color for the casting that is the chase. Nice score on the chase vehicles. I have to find one of those Christine's

That's a bunch of sweet rides. Gonna keep my eyes peeled for those station wagons and the wrecker. I love wierd castings. Thanks for the show. I been posting vids on kenners lately too. I dig lost or wierd castings also.
The old Kenners are awesome too! The weird castings are very cool indeed. Thanks for watching the vids!
You MUST have ordered the latest wave of AW cases by now are you feeling lucky about scoring more Ultra red chase's?
***** Indeed I have ordered the latest waves of AW cars, fingers crossed for a chase car (or two!) once again. I should have the cars in about 2 weeks or less, and I will be making a video of them just as soon as I can crack those cases! Thanks for the comment!

My first Auto Word chase was the 1973 Cadillac Coupe De Ville, I understand your excitement.
Dude I love your reaction to the.... I gotta chase, I gotta another chase!!! Congrats! I love collecting them as well
Hahaha! I was very stoked about it! Thank you
Where can I purchase these all online please.
awesome! great video
the wheels are a bit thin, i kinda hate the painted detailing on the side window as opposed to part of the body.
I love the Christine but I don't know where to buy one any tips?
great video, love the auto world cars
Man you went big on those Auto World cases man....awesome videos...I love these cars!
