So cute❣️ Great instructions and easy to follow. My first project that went beyond single crochet. I made the hat but somehow I started to decrease at some point without catching it. So, now it's not 'slouchy' but is just a cute, regular hat. 😂

Can you tell me how to size this down for a child's beanie?

Hi thanks for your question. Firstly you might want to make the ribbing narrower so start wit only 5 chains. Then make the ribbing section for the length of the circumference of the head ( you can google children’s head sizes by age ) Then make the height ( or lengths ) of the beanie about 10 inches. (You can also look up length of beanie for children by age ). I hope this helps but please ask me if you need further tips 🙏😀
