I honestly love Leo's S support in this more than pretty much any other S support in the game. Sakura is really sweet and Leo is tactical and logical, and that sort of pairing is great in general. But what's truly amazing about it is the way he talks to her at the end. He doesn't ask her to meet him on his level. "We can start with a stroll. We could walk hand-in-hand... we could even speak of... happier things. ...Things like the peace I feel when I'm near you." Those are things that are completely outside of Leo's norm, but they are things that would mean the world to Sakura. He doesn't force anything on her. He doesn't use flowery words and "I've loved you since the day we met" garbage to win her over. Just "let's go for a walk and talk of something besides this war". Leo can be blunt and harsh and he speaks nothing if not his mind, but he's being so kind to her in this S support that it feels much more genuine than a lot of the pairings in this game. And it makes me smile. :)

In the Revelation Route (where this support is only possible), he actually saves Sakura's life.

As much as I love this pairing, pink on pink makes Forrest look like one of those Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Actually, most of Leo's pairings give Forrest weird hair colours.

It's a deus ex machina for the writers, as they always need an excuse to either start or end a conversation, but I do agree with you.
This pairing works for me because Sakura and Forrest have a lot in common as Mother and Son, Just like Elise and Kiragi.
And I thought I was the only one who paired Elise and Takumi together??

+Bulbalang don't worry what others think! I think if I say on a FE forum who I marry I'd be shunned but for me for my revelations playthrough I married Ophelia despite that she is one of the "children"..I couldn't pass out her dreamy personality😅

Sakura, just a shy, cute little peace-loving girl who is easily intimidated, with Leo, a sharp-tongued, no-nonsense guy who basically tries to intimidate Sakura to stay out of danger cause his pride won't let him show her he just cares for her well-being
When Leo saved Sakura from Zola I was like, “Yeah, I’m putting you two together”, and I wasn’t disappointed. Love this pairing, and Sakura is such a wonderful mother to Forrest.
I love how different this is compared to Elise and Takumi's supports. XD
Although, "Sakura not being suited for battle" may not be accurate as I already upgraded her and she's actually pretty damn powerful.
5 years late but yeah, if you do a bit of grind before chapter 10, you'll get good priestess in the long run.

Leo and Camilla lived in Birthright and Sakura and Hinoka lived in Conquest so this may happen after the two paths just with different dialogue

Personally, this is one of the few S supports where I wished Sakura took the initiative in the confession (Similar to what she did with Corrin's and Subaki's) since she was one who wanted to join the war council after Leo critically tells her that she isn't fit for the battlefield (which I guess makes sense in-context but it's still a little jarring since she has been a part of multiple battles at this point I guess.)
A few other support ideas.
- A small reference to Leo saving Sakura from Zola would be nice. It would make an easy C support starter of Sakura simply wanting to thank Leo for saving her that time.
- an alternative idea would be that Leo tries to drag Sakura into the war council despite her not liking it because the council requires everyone's support then by B support, Sakura finds a problem in their current strategy but has anxiety so Leo confides in her after noticing her wanting to say something. She states her problem with it, and Leo promise to help her case. By the the time, A support happen, Leo would have fixed the issue with Sakura's help. This would make the S support slide more naturally and gives them both something to do.
Regardless, I still love this one for the most part even if I feel Leo was kinda scaring her for the most part. (Their JP S support in particular, although mostly the same was very aggressive on Leo's part.) Probably my definitive OTP for Fates/If as a whole.

I ADORE this pairing and S chat, but I don’t really like the C, B and A ones too much. It just felt as if Leo was stating Sakura’s personality, but I like the concept of him shielding her in a way. I would 100% ship this if the C B and A dialogue was a by better, but the S chat is one of my most favourites!

I unfortunately haven't had the chance to play revelations yet, but this is by far my favorite coupling in the series. They are both adorable and Sakura It think Sakura would be a supportive mom to Forrest.
So, I found videos from the DLC that folks outside of Japan didn't get, the Children's Festival DLC, and if Forrest is Sakura's son, he referenced this conversation when he said the same line that Sakura said about not wanting to close her eyes to the fighting that is happening and said that he knew about it because Leo told him.

I love how canon this is and when you think about it, at the end of the day in this situation Forest would have 3 retainers; Nina, Ophelia and Caeldori, since Sakuras only child would be Forrest in this situation which means Caeldori would have to serve as his retainer. I think the four would fit well together, you have a little mix of everyone in the group.

I mean, I had a friend literally pair up the older sisters with the older brothers and the younger sisters with the younger brothers
ClawedAsh my family has a similar situation. My grandparents and their siblings kind of mixed and matched. In my opinion it’s really weird but at least it’s not that bad.
