I love that Niles's first language is basically flirting, and he has to remember to speak...whatever the common language is.

Two of my favorite characters from both sides.
This is literally a relationship I have with a girl at my school. I act just like Niles and she acts just like Oboro. This whole support conversation is ironic.

Maria Alice He legitimately tried to change for her, which I've never seen from him.
Alright. That's it. I've found it. My favorite ship for both Oboro and Niles. It's... wow. I never would've thought this could work, but it totally does and I actually got emotional when he said "I want to be by your side until I breathe my last and pass on." That was the most sincere, unabashed proposal I've heard from any of the guys in this game. And Oboro... what a sturdy rock all the way through, keeping him on the straight and narrow.
I think these two will do just fine together in later years. :)

I have to wonder how Niles is so oblivious to his "unintentional" shameless flirting given the fact he does this in a majority of his supports (and seems to enjoy it here and there). You think it wouldn't be too hard to fix but for Niles he just can't get it together.
Meanwhile so many others can barely muster a "you look nice" Without panicking.
NaturesShadow I think that he really does do it on purpose often, and enjoys it, but when he actually tries to talk normal, he can’t turn off the flirty switch

I have to say, out of all the characters in Fates, Niles is the one that has REALLY grown on me. I remember the first time I tried this pairing, I didn't get why Niles was going so far out of his usual character for seemingly no apparent reason. But after reading his other supports, and digging into him a little, I understand pretty much every choice he makes in this support, and its really quite nice.

Saying Fates' writing is bad definitely isn't a controversial take at all I realize now lol. I find it kind of heartening how many of us wanted to like Fates and its characters so badly, so we celebrate whenever there's decent character interaction like here

I spent a good few hours in Warriors getting these two to A support because I thought they had A+ and was hoping for a conversationlike this...I was a little disappointed they didn't

The second Oboro said phrasing, Archer was the first thing that came into my head.
Is there any support where a girl that will compete in trying to outflirt him? That would be way more interesting than girls getting offended every single time he tries to flirt with them / manages to get a rise out of them otherwise, which gets old very quickly. They should see through it, but not be easy to annoy with his usual ways.
I think there's Peri. She doesn't outFLIRT per se, but she definitely ain't the one to be scared here
