Cool overview, thanks! I somehow thought the IFA doesn't exist anymore. (I think because the IAA for cars doesn't anymore and those were *the* two shows in Berlin each year) I remember as a child when in early afternoon on German television they would show different parts or innovations of the show each day for a week or two and even broadcast live from there.
Hi Leland! Yeah I think there have been a few exhibitions IAA and Berlin Photo Week which were linked to IFA but didn’t survive. IFA has stood the test of time and I think will for a long time seeing how it keeps growing even in just the past 3 years. It’s really cool to hear your story about seeing it on television! I think the idea of tech was even more exciting without all the instant info from social media/Internet. Appreciate you watching and telling your story!
@@MichaelNgvyen And thanks to the internet and you I was able to see a lot of it in one video! Maybe they still do it on TV, I just don't have the time I had as a kid haha But it truly was a more exciting time because TV or Computer magazines were the only chance of getting to see exhibits. Thanks again for doing that, take care!
Wow! This is so cool! You both covered this so well
Thanks Melvin! We tried to do our best. There was way too much to get through!
@@MichaelNgvyen I bet! They had such a range of tech!
