For a second I was considering it could be a quiz about Yugioh Forbidden Memories, but the fusion mechanics in that game are far too complex for something like this.
The Gatling Dragon fusion is really obvious once you look closer. Barrel and Blowback both have destruction effects that rely on coin flips landing on heads. This is because Barrel Dragon is the boss monster of Bandit Keith, that dude with the American flag bandana from the original series. His whole gimmick was gambling and gun-related monsters and he would cheat to get the cards he needed.
@@JetZV I realized that they could probably see the effects a little while after I posted my comment, but still, overdrive does look like an obvious choice, and the 2 dragons make even more sense if you look at gatling's effect

So I assumed the fusion wouldn't include both and went with the ones that seemed like super early jank from when named fusions were popular.

This was so much fun! Definitely a few I expected here. If you do another, I’d like to throw Mystical Sand in there for two reasons. One, the material doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Two, the Japanese name… is Sand Witch.
Odd that the place he gets the images from only messes up the "#" in the name. Fusionist had "Mystical Sheep #2" perfectly normal on it.
You shoulda had them all include sparkman in some way 🤔 remind Tyler of the little fat kid with the mustard stain that sent him to the Shadow Realm.
Doing the opposite where its here are the two materials, what mental thing does it make would in theory work better?
I feel like another way to identify something like this is card artwork, different "generations" of card art look different, which is why master of ham looks so out of place in the rare fish fusion.
Time for my monthly Fueled by Sandwiches video
I want to see the most nonsensical Digimon fusions now
17:39 that is a trick one because I'm sure you need more than 3
19:00 well according to my memory it's all four
Koalas also have a one ton grip strength
You guys should do tier list videos. The algorithm loves it
I haven't watched the video yet and I'm already really excited to see these three guys heads explode over why some random ass monsters fuse into some totally different random ass monster and there being next to no logic. (For most of the early fussions) This has to be hilarious.
My HC is witch of the Black Forest and Lady of faith are Musican king’s mothers
Wow Electrum was a low blow bruh lol
Persona/SMT fusions next?
Labyrinth tank woulda been a great inclusion.
Does anyone know where mitch gets his hats made?
If we have another yugifusion episode, or if we have the reverse (aka you give the materials and they guess the results)
We NEED Sanwich to appear.
I NEED MORE OF THIS
Anybody else never really looked at rare fish that closely before? I never saw the lion head, i saw like a wrinkly person face. Look at it from a distance and you might see what I mean.
aw i was really hoping you would do D.3.S frog and just have all 4 options be DES frog... or 3 DES frog and mekk-knight avram for the callback
To create musician King the reason why is because the Lady of faith and witch of the black Forest use the magic together to create a child Their Rock and Roll Baby Boy
Oh yesssss i was wondering if we were ever going to do the fusions im so happy cause they have some weird components (to my memory)
I would love if you showed them the absurd Performapal cards like Teetertotter Hopper, Drummerilla or Elephammer.
The materials for Musician King being Lady of Faith and WotBF is a reference to Judas Priest & Black Sabbath
though honestly, even at the time there was probably better choices...
Master of Ham came out this year lol
While plenty of people have commented on the logistics of the references regarding the Musician King, I have a head canon that Lady of Faith and Witch of the Black Forest are a couple who adopted the kid that would go on to become the Musician King.
For a second I was considering it could be a quiz about Yugioh Forbidden Memories, but the fusion mechanics in that game are far too complex for something like this.
Do link monsters nest. Everyone gets all the points.
My score this quiz: 10 points
Round 1: 2 points
Round 2: 1 point
Round 3: 1 point
Round 4: 2 points
Round 5: 2 points
Round 6: 2 points
As Batshit as some of Forbidden Memories' fusions were, at least Sonic Maid *was* one of the fusion mats for Musician King.
The Gatling Dragon fusion is really obvious once you look closer. Barrel and Blowback both have destruction effects that rely on coin flips landing on heads. This is because Barrel Dragon is the boss monster of Bandit Keith, that dude with the American flag bandana from the original series. His whole gimmick was gambling and gun-related monsters and he would cheat to get the cards he needed.
yeah, but I don't know how well they can see barrel and blowback's effects.
@@BrandonSwinney-j2v Ah! I figured that they just had whatever was put on the screen.
@@JetZV I realized that they could probably see the effects a little while after I posted my comment, but still, overdrive does look like an obvious choice, and the 2 dragons make even more sense if you look at gatling's effect
I just guessed Barrel Dragon and Overdrive because I vaguely remembered Blowback Dragon being a better version of Barrel Dragon printed later, but didn't remember how much later. So I assumed the fusion wouldn't include both and went with the ones that seemed like super early jank from when named fusions were popular.
I feel that Tyler is drunk before you guys start recording which is awesome lol
Actually great ygo content. 👍🏻
Honestly it's kinda hard to think of other options for this quiz. Most of the other fusion monsters I can think of either have non-specific materials, or incredibly obvious materials. Except for more of the really old ones.
Yeah, there’s a shockingly small pool of fusions that have two specific materials. At least, not any that are good fits for a quiz like this
Oh hell yeah, this is My favorite part of the mornight.❤
