When roomba does not any problem it does have it when mopping. It struggles to move far and is unable to dock it back. It is just rotating on a limited space but it is not mopping as commanded. Ar times it gets out the dock and gets stranded with its red light on. Please suggest solution. Thanks
I would restart your unit within the app and see if that fixes it. If not you can delete and remap your area. Lastly, you could do a hard factory reset: homesupport.irobot.com/s/article/9047
question… i’m on the step of adding the combo bin but on the phone it says “update can take 15min to a day” do i really have to leave my phone on until it connects? any chance you would know anything about this? thanks man!!
I have never tried not leaving a phone on/connected. I don't know what would happen. The update should be between the vacuum/homebase + network at that point so you might be able to leave it... Did you have success with the update?
Not sure what step 6 but make sure you are connected to a 2.4ghz wifi network. If you have trouble start over and try a few times. If still having issues if you can try setup on another device (try Android if you were using iOS) etc. If still having issues then you will need to contact iRobot customer support. Good luck!

Interesting for me is why the combo bin can not be used with Roomba i3+ if it's just a static mop without pump and needs QR code scan 🤔
I think this is a money move to lock it down for certain models. That way they can sell you a whole new vacuum :/
I can't get past step 6 in the set up...when I press Next to go from step 6 to 7 it won't do anything. Any clues?
