They should have made it where you can lock a recipe inside the crafter with the items you put in it. Then when you funnel more of the same recipes in with the items then it would spit the item out. That’s what I thought it was gonna do.
@@RajCraftI feel like at that point why not just craft it yourself the only use I’ve seen will be for farms other then that what’s the point personally the auto crafter from refined storage is exactly how the crafter should’ve been but they kinda half assed it imo
There was so much they could have added but they just didn't add it. Like something I most want is a selected crafting recipe so it will only make the item you selected it to make.
This thing sounds like a pita to use. They could've done this a lot better. Have a grid on one side that you place the recipe into and a grid on the other side for received items. It could then place those items as shown on the reference while rejecting everything else.
@@RajCraft way better. You drop what you want it to make on one side and regardless of what you feed it and what order, it spits out what you want. Right now you drop in the items needed and unless you build a village worth of redstone, it spits out nonsense. The only thing it'll work out the gate for is solid blocks.
@@RajCraftliterally no it doesn't, you set your recipe and the game fills the recipe for you instead of having to turn slots off and on and fuck about with getting redstone timings right, it would also allow for a single hopper to hold all the crafting materials for a given item and feed it in to your set up crafter.
@@macduchesne1849 after 2 months of using it, I stand by my decision. It's not bad to have it the way it is and can be worked around, but damn would it be nice for complex recipes. Even for just sugarcane to paper it's annoying and took 45 minutes of screwing with it to get it to work. For blocks, it's not too bad. Until you manually add stuff to it and realize you're turning all your gold ingots into nuggets....
I feel like this would work better if you place items in a crafting grid, and then have another crafting grid for items to fall into, do you have the desired crafting recipes
Yeah like if you can set a crafting recipe and only items in that recipe could go into the crafter. The closest version of this, is that if you put the items in for the crafting recipe and the crafter works as a slower rate and it won't empty any of the items out.
One thing i wish they would make is a seed spitter. This would be extremely useful. Yes we have found numerous ways to redstone our way into making auto machines where you can harvest your crops, but if they made a seed spitter this would be placed under a block of farmland (has to be watered for it to work) and whatever seed you put into the seed spitter would be automatically planted for you after you harvest your crops.
I made a torch factory/farm with crafter. its a little slow because you have to manually add logs to the chests. I'd want to make bonemeal farm and wood farm connected to it so it will became fully automatic torch farm.
I need bone blocks for a build! So I think this will definetely be usefull to me. I have this bonemeal machine that automates the composting process and would be even BETTER if it would make it into bonemeal blocks for me! :D
U just place a hopper with item in it and disable the slots that is not required in the recipe and give continue redstone power and it will craft Hope it helps
i want to know how i can stop the crafter when the chest infront is filled up becuase mine keeps on crafting after its filled up and it makes a mess around the place
I've spent over an hour trying to make gold nuggets an ingot with this f'ing thing and still can't figure out how to use it. It either fills up then backs up the system, or just acts like a hopper and sends nuggets into the chest. I'm beyond frustrated with this and am at the point where I am probably never going to try and use this damn thing ever again
Well I thought this as well but if you think deeply you may know gold farm contain gold nugget so you can put hopper and red stone clock it start giving gold ingot and if you want put another crafter and hopper it contain gold block and melon farm produce melon slice and farmer trade for whole melon so you can use it again and many other farm
Yes but can you craft a crafter then make the crafter make a crafting table then use the crafting table to craft a crafter then craft a crafter from the 2 crafter than craft more crafters with the crafters from all the crafting
this video would be a lot more helpful if you added a tutorial for any sort of automatic crafter but you didnt you basically just connected a signal and ended the video

Me too fr🤣 making an auto bamboo farm and got to the last step of my idea then found out then it continues filling bamboo blocks in the spots🤦🏼♂️🤣
I made a drinking game based on how many times you said "craft," "crafter," "crafted," and "crafting," and man, am I shitfaced...
What am I suppose to say teapot instead of crafter?

i wish you could select what items go in what slot permantely instead of praying you get the right pattern
You could put the items in beforehand in the spots. The trick is to make sure that the slots don’t empty and fill with the wrong item.
@RajCraft do you need to do somethin with comparators or somethin or does it just stop when theres only one item in each slot left?

The trick is to put the items in ahead of time and make it slow enough that there won't be an empty slot.
I wish you could just select what recipe you want
Same
No you can’t select the exact recipe you want
It depends on the redstone signal and not the desired item:

I’m excited to see what contraptions we could make to have it “save” recipes easily. Minds already brewing on it

That sounds more complicated. People are going to design ways to filter things into it.

U just place a hopper with item in it and disable the slots that is not required in the recipe and give continue redstone power and it will craft

Yea it's basically a crafting table with Redstone power 👌💀
Hey do you know how to craft things like pistons or things like that with the crafter?
Why didn’t they just make it like a Factorio assembly machine
so is that i want to craft a golden apple do i need to count the time when the apple will be put in the crafter?idk just ask
Man my double portal pigmen farm is gonna be so easy to instantly craft ingots
Afterwards you can even farm blocks

Finally I can make a fully automated dried kelp block farm for Infinite fuel
Its helpful to make an auto block maker or gold carrots apples and that abt it

I have a big brain idea
We didn't need this when we have an crafting table.
useful for automatic farms like combines creeper farm + sugercane farm for rockets
New craf5ing table
Basically a better crafting table
The word craft doesnt mean anything anymore
But literally what's the point? What makes this better than simply pressing "craft all" on the crafting table?
