Being an engineer I prefer to visit railways like this when their quiet and get permission to have a look round and all the rolling stock not normally seen by visitors
Hungary had a LOT of the same narrow gauge freight service. They all got into an end but ONE, The Lillafüredi kisvasút (Lillafüred narrow gauge railway) is still operating freight services! All other narrow gauge railways like the Budapesti Gyerekvasút [Budapest ,,Children Railway"(you may think why it got this stupid name, it got this name because railroad workers even the staion masters are 12-18 year old kids! Only the owners and the train drivers are adults.)] are only operating passenger services. And our narrow gauge railways are a little wider.
Superb video and a pleasure to watch. Lovely to see these unusual trains and carriers that we don't see in Canada. Good luck to you all and keep up the dedicated work.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Solomon Aries thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Is it just me, or does the orange one look like a VW van and the one with the triangle on the front look like an old Bedford van? And the green and brown one reminds me of an ERF from the 1940s. :)
Very cool. I like the sound of No. 132! I didn't though that it will be so deep. So the sounds I use for my Katoworks 7 tons model isn't too much wrong.
Were those logs white cedar? The blue and white tram at about 7 minutes reminds me of a VW hippie/surfer microbus. I saw many of them in Southern California.
What are they doing first ten, fiftenn minutes of this film? I don't understand what they accomplished.

I'm not a train nerd but I really like this. Are all of them diesel chain driven? Also I'm guessing there is a difference between the people carriers and the load pullers? No 142 @23:58 still chain drive? As someone that likes to know how things work, I'd love to have been there, thank you for sharing. Ooops, and, of course, thank you to the real people there at the time keeping it alive.
The gauge seems quite wide - not line 600 or 750 mm. Could it be 1067mm like the "standard" gauge for Japanese railways?

I'm no expert but I think the logging trains were individual narrow gauges; much better if someone that knows says, I'm just a watcher. P.S. someone else a few years ago said it is 762 gauge, I don't know for sure
The Japanese aesthetic is very pleasing. The little engines are charming yet very dutiful. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for sharing.👍🏻
That turquoise colored "railbus" at 6:52 is the cutest thing I seen the last years!
Leave it to Japan to have a cute narrow railway festival.
あまり見かけない面白くて魅力的な一見この動画を投稿していただきありがとうございます
These are definitely cuter than Thomas & Friends

Don’t know why this was recommended to me, but I watched it to the very end. 👍👍

こんな素晴らしい所があるなんて全然知らなかった!!!!ホント現役で仕事している雰囲気が最高!よくある「なかよし鉄道」とか 子供連れが喜びそうなお遊戯鉄道にしていないところがいい!!
Great fun to ride one!

So cool. I'd love to work on that railway.

When railway engines mate with VW combi's.
Is Thomas there too?
truck engine?
Are those staff carrier railcars belt driven?
If you look carefully at the green people catrrier, it looks like its chain drive.
These 4 wheeled locomotives sure don't ride very well, do they?
is that an ordinary 1067mm track?
gunner6084 no,it's 762 gauge
oh ok then
Trabant's trains?
