  • I tested the SecurityIng Backup Light to be the Best Backup Light of 2022 very recently. After my video, SecurityIng sent me another Backup Light that has the potential to become THE Best Backup Light in 2022 - so did it change my mind finally? Which one is now THE Best Backup Light for technical divers in 2022? I'll share my thoughts on the best backup light for your cave diving and technical diving needs. One difference between these lights is that the DF01 uses the newer SST40 LED instead of the older XLM2 used in the DF08. SST40 technology makes the bulb brighter with equivalent power source.

Now we just need to hope that SecurityIng will send Ben their canister light (DF06) for review as well

Amazon has both models listed at a 150m depth rating.

I'm sorry but this light is vastly outdated. Is too big for only 1500 lumens and it has no rechargable battery. There are way better lights for around that price as a bug out option. As a diving light then is different.

Yeah it’s meant for diving as said and shown in the video
