Oh, that was good for the soul. Thanks to you all for sharing a glimpse into your day with the new hatchlings, the sweet kids on a family visit at the lake, the lovely spread of food on the table, & how the farm looked in the evening.
Yes, you capture the beauty of your homestead! For me the beauty you share is the excitement of new baby ducklings, children and grandma babysitting baby Wilder, the excitement of family gatherings, potluck dinners, the joy of the animals and the rewards of your garden, and the contentment you share with us. And the beautiful scenery that the Lord blessed you with is an added bonus we get a sneak peek at too. Thank you!
I agree baby ducks are the cutest. We had a momma Muscovy hatch out 17 babies 3 weeks ago. And we have another Muscovy on 13 eggs ready to hatch in 3 days. I'm going to have babies everywhere!!!
Wow, 17 babies, how did she do it ?! They're so small, she had to work very hard to make all those babies develop and hatch. Cudos to the Musco mama! Greetings from Canada celebrating 151th birthday today :)
katnip2u You know those small plastic horse feed buckets you hang on the wall? She laid all the eggs in there and sat . I'm assuming because the space was so small that's how she managed to incubate them all. I had no idea how many she had till I took it off the wall with her and babies inside to put them in a larger penned space. I was amazed! She actually had 3 more that died during hatching unfortunately.
I had a muscovy mama that never had less than 15eggs. She always hatched them all. And she was such a great mama that even when she had ducklings of her own, she would take all the ducklings from another hen that was a great layer and sitter, but could care less once they were a few days old. Ethel ( the good mama duck) would sometimes have as many as 30ducklings under her once everyone had hatched and she had adopted the other hens babies. Dont know how she did it, but she never lost a duckling once she put it under her wings. They are amazing. Miss my scovies and cant wait till we move to our farm so i can start a new flock :) Ps happy canada day!
The baby ducks are precious and hopefully more to come. Bri, that lake party with your extended family looked wonderful. What a beautiful lake and everyone was having such a good time. AND.....Look at that food. How inviting was that!!! Wilder looked like he was enjoying himself. Have a Blessed day.
june2009birth It was at Walmart of all places 😂😂😂. It turned out awful, but she didn’t know, so I just trimmed it up when we got home. Long story as to why we ended up at Walmart, but she felt great about the whole thing, so no worries.
My husband and I just drove through Asheville NC and down to Greenville SC. What absolutely gorgeous country! Every picture I took did no justice to the actual beauty we were seeing. God bless you all in your little slice of heaven!
7:01 I swear he says hi back!! My oldest could say good at 4 months old! She walked and talked at 7 months! He will learn so fast with all them kids talking to him and playing all the time!!! So sweet!!! I know how much of a struggle it is and how much anxiety it can be to leave alone! I didnt get my license till I was 25 so I have big issues with going with kids alone!! Its so stressful sometimes but I always love it once I'm there. You are so great Bri!! The ducks are so cute cant wait to see them all and how many and colors!
I pray God blesses me with a beautifully sized yard to have a garden like yours, and to finally get my chickens, ducks and goats that I've been longing for for sometime now! You all are super blessed!
It is so beautiful there! The ducklings are adorable! Brianna, you are amazing getting 5 little ones ready and going in the car by yourself! I had 5 little ones too, and it sure wasn't easy to do! I love watching your videos. Just watching your everyday lives is a blessing.
It's so pretty there. Your garden looks great and baby ducks to boot. I love Joyful's hair cut too, so cute. everyone looks great and the lake trip. How fun. love summer.
Love your garden it looks so organized and the baby is getting so big Joyful has a new hair cut and it looks very nice. Thanks for the video all of the children are so happy I love seeing that.
Kinda makes you want to dig out a lake on your property right!? How beautiful! And what a nice array of food at the party! Welcome to the world baby ducks!
Those baby ducks are so cute. I love the beauty around your homestead, the sky, mountains, trees and all, especially the intro's and endings of your videos....gorgeous. Your right Art, the camera just cannot capture the ultimate beauty and vivid colors of it all. :-)
Those baby ducks are adorable! Bri, you are an amazing Mom..it takes a lot of work to get two kids ready by yourself..but 5!!! Wow!! I just love your videos!
I'm SO happy for everyone, but especially for Grace because of the ducklings! I had seven broody ducks and four broody geese; four goslings hatched, but no ducklings. I suspect soymeal in the feed has something to do with it because when I found non-soy feed, the goslings hatched. All the other broodies started sitting after that, which is also when I couldn't find non-soy feed anymore. While I love long hair best, I really like Joyful's new haircut.
YAY! Baby Ducks!!! I LOVE love love, Baby Ducks! And I love the quacking! I love North Carolina!!! And I just adore your little family!!! Blessings and Shalom!
I've been watching daily from my phone. Just now getting the tablet up and running again to enable to comment. Really enjoyed all the presentations. Mr. Wilder is adorable, as the rest of your beautiful family
Chickens definitely have a sound they make that sounds like bragging when they lay an egg 😁😁 :: edit:: Gratz on the baby ducks!! Grace must be so happy!!!
One of your best videos. Bri you looked beautiful. Joyful looked so cute with her smile. As a Mama I know you were concerned with the lake. The kids were having the time of their life. They will be starving after swimming and all that good looking food. Your children and especially Grace were so happy about the ducklings. (Grace loosing her previous ducklings, I felt sorry for her). Thanks Art for your part of the video. Sorry you had to work and know you wanted to be with your family. Happy 4th of July.
Lovely video (I’m behind!!) When our kids argue about being first, we gently remind them that whoever is first is last...from time to time we do something a little extra for the one who graciously goes last, to drive the point home 😊
Word; I can see the weather and love how it changes, earlier in this video, Bri showed us how foggy it was at around 7:00-7:30 a.m. Congrats on the ducklings :)
@Art, Bri & Family: What a nice video. I really enjoyed watching it. Summer fun for the kids & family. Some of my fondest childhood memories are like this. Thank you for sharing.
Made my 💓 heart Happy and sad at same time. Grace is growing so fast. And she is such a good big sister, and going to be an Awesome Farmer if that is what she chooses to be. The younger kids are so happy and inquisitive. And Joyfull's smile is so inviting. Brianna, I love it when you get to sneak out. Artur you have an amazing family.(happy part) I wish I could have been at the lake with you all. I haven't been to a lake in 30 years. I'm originally from Michigan. Needless to say we had lakes. Now I'm at Coastal North Carolina and no close public lakes.(sad part)
How sweet! Its neat seeing your kids get excited about the baby ducks, reminds me of my childhood and getting excited when my mom would show us her baby chicks that hatched 😊 sweet memories
We’re planning a trip to Asheville this summer. You’re videos are so beautiful and I can’t wait to see the mountains in real life. We live in south FL where everything is flat. It will be a nice change!
That was a beautiful sunset. Joyful i love your haircut. You look so pretty with short hair. The baby ducks, baby Wilder and Brighton are precious. Momma duck hit that board pretty hard. At least her beaks not sharp. How did one baby get on top?
Another great video! The baby duck we did kind of c is so cute! Looking forward to seeing more! I know how stressful and challenging it can be with small kids by any water when ur without adult help other than yourself, but the Lord is good in providing protection if ur trusting and leaning on him alone. And when ur with family they can be of help too. Looks like the kids were having a fun time! Happy 4th of July to u all!🎇🎆🇺🇸
june2009birth I wish I could become citizen of this country. But sadly India have a very harsh citizenship law. Even if you are born in India but you don't have an Indian parent you will not get citizenship. They follow right of blood not right of land.
Thank you Art and Bri for sharing your video homestead farmer chicken or so beautiful and amazing nice to watch your video 🐔🐓🐥🐈🐕🐂🐖🐏🌱🎥👍👍👍
You're so blessed to have so much GREEN! Things here are already showing the heat of our 100°+ days and no rain. 😕 ✌🇨🇱

Who cut it, Bri? Looks great on her!!!
june2009birth It was at Walmart of all places 😂😂😂. It turned out awful, but she didn’t know, so I just trimmed it up when we got home. Long story as to why we ended up at Walmart, but she felt great about the whole thing, so no worries.
Grace deserves this good news after recent unpleasantness with her old eggs
great video and delicious looking food everywhere! :)
What a beautiful video of farm and family. Thank you for sharing.
My husband and I just drove through Asheville NC and down to Greenville SC. What absolutely gorgeous country! Every picture I took did no justice to the actual beauty we were seeing. God bless you all in your little slice of heaven!
I’ll bet Grace is thrilled!
I liked how the goats came to a screeching halt when they realized you were up on the hill. So cute.
You have a garden/backyard. Full of life.
