Great video. Do you have a video of replacing the shock? Can you do it from the outside of the car or do you need to take things out from the trunk?

I haven’t a video on changing the shock even though I have for a yellow bilstein type? There is a nut to undo behind the carpet? However I did pull mine out from the side by lifting the seal and removing the plastic grommets? I know if you take it to a garage they will remove the perforated circular shape on top but one taken off it will not be the same but will make the job easier

I think trunks are at the front, like elephants. I wear my trunks for swimming.

Nice one, most grateful. Is this a sport package, do you have any details that differ compared with standard setup. Regards Steve.

      Hi Blynde
I purchased the SLK from Copart was completely smashed at the front took 6 months to rebuild so I never got to compair it? I bought bilsteins front suspension you can only use lowered springs? they did three types I went for the mid one also changed the front wishbone rubber bush for a poly one as the rubber bushes get week? It was a hard ride but drove round corners like shit to a blanket?

Thanks for sharing ! Is yr car "lowered" eg on B8 shocks and lower springs? Whats the ride like with your, I assume B6 spec bilsteins, am asking because need to change all my shocks starting from the rear, am considering B6 Bilsteins but dont want too hard/harsh a ride. Thanks Again !

I’m afraid it will stiffen the ride? Great handling but you wouldn’t want you mum sat with you with false teeth
