I bet Ida Lupino wanted this role specifically. Hollywood was full of execs who thought she should be in the kitchen (or the dressing room) instead of a director's chair. She fought that glass ceiling throughout her career. Edit/SPOILER ALERT: Too bad she didn't have some control over the script. The last minutes are implausible, unsatisfying and just plain bad writing.
@@holmes5517 😂 The way these commercials talk it up I would think it was the greatest wine ever been made in the history of humanity lol You’ve got to love those old 50s commercials.
would it be safe to use a slightly larger caliber in that gun?? .004" larger not much. was almost thinking ir would hurt the shooter.... either way, me still wishing to hear it go off.
@@otrarchive You might try Charlotte Armstrong and Fredric Brown. However, my favorite is a slightly different genre with suspense and lots of humor and cynicism, Chester Himes.
To me this episode is a low point, more depressing than suspenseful. It revolves around a really warped and twisted relationship and I hate the ending. I'm sorry Ida Lupino wasted her talent on it.
Not a favorite of mine either. I like hearing Elliott Lewis playing the bad guy, but this one just had a bad resolution. Like the writer forgot how to end it.
Very much SUSPENSE in this episode. Great!! 🤩🤩
Love ida lupino
I wish they would have done a TV version of this show as they they did with many others.
Suspense became a television show. Some episodes are on here. Check it out. Stay safe x
They did, but it's early tv and a very primitive production. I like the radio show a lot more.
Some of these would have made great movies.

😳
Was that Howard Duff (her real life husband) or Elliot Lewis? It really sounded like Howard Duff.
Elliot Lewis.
This is good one. Thank you for loading. Anyone know of novels from the time period and of the same genre?
Not me, but I'd also love to know the answer.

Attempted murder
