I am working on the violet part 2 and already have a few fragrances. I couldn't get along with insolence but maybe one day it will work out for me. So glad to hear you like Slow Dance, it is one of my faes for sure. Skumning is a gorgeous parma violet scent.

I'm not a superexpert in violet fragrances but I'm in love with Kerbside Violet by Lush. It's sharp, cold, strong and grassy. To me it's the quintessence of a clean-white-shirt smell. The ones you mentioned sound all interesting. If I had to choose one, I'd say I could easily blind-buy Vintage Violet

One of my favorite fragrances is Grenadille d’Afrique from Aedes de Venustas. It is a fragrance that features a unique Blackwood tree resin that gives off facets of wood and smoke with a warming laudanum with soft touches of vanilla and bergamot and lavender and violet. It is a sophisticated, elegant fragrance that is never overbearing or loud, but very long lasting. Expensive, yes, but a real compliment getter. A real under the radar gem !
You know, those "under radar gems" are actually really good because you'll smell mass appealing yet not like everybody else because not many know about it

Have you tried Dirty Violet by Heretic in collaboration with the drag queen Violet Chachki? I'm tempted to try it but I'm not familiar with Heretic and the sample set is pretty pricey.

I have a sample of that one and even though I adore that chocolate vanilla overdose it has nothing to do with violts. To me there is not even a hint of violet in there which is a pity! Definitely give these ones a try, you'll be impressed. Take care, Heather!
I love violets! It's a shame the scent has old lady connotations - I'm old enough to not worry about what other people think, and enjoy spending my day in a purple haze... I love Fahrenheit, L'Heure Bleue, Après L'Ondée, Insolence, and the cheapest of all, Violettes de Toulouse edt by Berdoues.
