Hi, new viewer here. I know this is an older video, but I really enjoyed seeing your lineup of violet scents. Violet deserves to be utilized more. It can be done so beautifully. I'm currently on a mission to find a Violets and whipped cream scent, preferably grounded in woods. Nothing like this seems to exist. Something like Amouage Love Tuberose with that wonderful whipped cream accord, but instead of tuberose, violet! I adore Lolita Lempicka as well, and Creed Love In Black. One day I hope to try the old Meteorites. 💕
I love violets in fragrances too. It’s just so beautiful and captivating when I smell it. Always enjoy Insolence from Guerlain and Love In Black is an under appreciated fragrance from Creed.

Ahh, my fav flower!💜 I love your collection, the Frederic Malle is high up on my wishlist. I have a bunch of violets in my collection and they are; Borsari Violetta di Parma-my nr 1, can't express how much i love it. My others are Violet Blonde from Tom Ford, it has suede but thats a totally different note than leather. L'Artisan Drole de rose and Verte Violette, the first one is a sweet candied rose with violet powder, a very makeupy scent too and theire very etherial Verte Violette. There is also Rance 1795 Pauline that i love but havn't had it for so long so i don't want to go in to details with that one yet. I also have Annick Goutal Mon Parfume Cherie, par Camille. The focus is on patchouli/iris/plum but the violet in it is nice too. Another one on my wishlist is Oriza Le Grande Violet Tzar(not sure about the name is exactly like this but..)😊
Very nice presentation. I do like the single note theme, and love violet. I'm curious as to why you don't have Insolence in your collection. I have the EDP and love it. And I share your pain about the original Meteorites. I had the chance ce to buy it when it first came out, loved it, and didn't. Too bad, as I still love that scent.
Thanks for this great video! I been looking to find a new violet fragrance that can last up to 10 hrs +. It's hard to find a beautiful violet scent...they all smell like old lady. Lolita and Angel Violet are probably the best 2 fragrance I smelled so far. I really wish some of this violet fragrance would smell more updated.
You probably would love Bvlgari pour femme , honeyed sweet violet, took me a while to warm to it but now I’m loving it . One I 100% recommend is Tom Ford violet blonde , just amazing :)

Hey! Love your list! Very inspiring, I will probably check some of them. What do you think about Insolance by Guerlain? I know, another Guerlain but its my absolute favorite. I do own also L’Heure de Nuit by Guerlain but I am not so happy with it. In general I love powdery floral perfumes and maybe you could make a review for niche powdery floral perfumes. Thanks. Great minds think alike! I just posted a video on violet scents! My fav scent is Lipstick Rose. And I will definitely be trying out the ones I don't own. Violet perfumes are one of my favs. I personally like the sweeter ones, and less green ones.

I also love Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood, very similar to Mc Queen My queen. Lolita Lempicka is the first violet scent I got... I still wear it for more than 20 years :)

Violet Creek by PHOENIX BOTANICALS is amazing. ATELIER COLOGNE Sous le Toit de Paris is violets, sweet & powdery with lush leaves from African violet. DSH Apres Midi (the afternoon) is a postmodern hymn to Apres l'Onde...divoon! I don't think any of these are deal-breakers for you (vio & chocolate/vio & leather) or I would say ARMANI PRIVÈ Cuir Amethyste. That's my unicorn kick-myself-for-not-gerting fragrance. Now it's sadly out of production and a 50mL refill used to be $45 US...now, lol, good luck finding any for under a hundred! Anyway great list, girl! Smell swell & be well, J xox

It’s a beautiful violet fragrance and it’s way inexpensive now. The violet chocolate combo doesn’t work for me either but I do Love violet and Leather. If a fragrance is love at first sniff for me it usually contains some violet. I’m going to watch this again.
Sorry it took so long. I kept prolonging it because I had all these ideas but I finally just decided to do a regular video. I have tried the Girl. It didn't smell good on my skin. I saw your Rodeo post today!
Guys, I love Lolita lempicka but the reformulated version doesn't last at all!! Is there anything out there that smells similar with better longevity? I'll be happy with 6-8hs!
Hey Lola, violet fragrances very interesting. Not much people have done reviews on violet fragrances so thanks for the video. I recently got given a sample of tango by masque milano. People say it's a spicy smelling fragrance but to me i find to smell like lipstick wasn't bad. so give it a try if you haven't yet. Stay classy bye.👍👄

It’s an Oxford Street exclusive now and you can only get it there. I’ll look for it next time I’m there and send you a bottle if you like. That is if you loved it and can’t live without it like me
I have Guerlain's L Apres Ondee on my 2019 sample list (part of my 2019 resolution to sniff out classics). I'm not that fond of violet but it maybe most of the ones i've sampled are violet leather (Fahrenheit, Arquiste Aleksandr). Its ok, but not my cup of tea. Damn, i haven't even smelt a fricking real violet yet 😂. I can't seem the find the type of violet that 'has scent' in Vancouver yet.
Hard to do violet right in "men's" perfumery, but Alberto Morillas seems to use it quite a bit. Still, Michel Almairac's Fahrenheit is probably my favourite iteration. Something about violet and leather that makes me think of Indiana Jones hiding in a bed of flowers. lol Btw, Is that the key to your husband's heart on your earring? Or the key to your fragrance closet? ;)

My favorite violet scent is Guerlain’s Insolence EDT! It’s like fairy candied violets! 💜💜💜
Nice variety of blends there. Have a couple frags I really enjoy with noticeable violet. GIT and Burberry Touch are both outstanding. Enjoyed. ❤️❤️

Love violet. My favorite ones are Tom Ford Black Violet and Serge Lutens Bois de Violette )

I like it but I cant wear it. Theres a particular note or accord that just doesn't agree with me.

Violette Fumee is a nice one. I tried it in Zurich and the Balenciaga just wasn't for me but I tried it years ago. May need to try again.

There's something about it that doesn't work with me. Maybe the fruity berries. Idk. I try it again every so often to see is maybe I'll like it.
