Glad to find someone else who likes L'Heure Bleue! That was my first Guerlain purchase. I have the EDT and EDP as well. I think the EDP is a bit warmer and spicier. I don't wear them all the time but I do really enjoy having them. It's like having a piece of history!

I had the same initial reaction to Mon Guerlain. I went back to it and loved it. Is one of very few lavender fragrances I love. It's done so well. Although most people say it's better in fall/ winter, I prefer it in the summertime. It is just so beautiful on warm skin🥰
Shalimar EDP, Mitsouko EDT, Cuir Intense and Lhomme Ideal EDP are my favourite Guerlain fragrances!
Found a baccarat crystal bottle of l’heure bleue extract many years ago in an antiques shop here in Stockholm, luckily sold separately though it had come with a set of cut glass containers that, I was told, came from the guest bath room of the Paris apartment of a Swedish tycoon who died under mysterious circumstances in 1932… it’s likely from the 1920s and i bought it just for the bottle, although it has some almost opaque, brown sludge in it. and it still smells! But it took years until it even dawned on me to try it on my skin, and it smells divine! I couldn’t stop sniffing the back of my hand.

Hey Lola! Nice collection of Guerlains. It’s my favorite house overall, I think. I have a pretty good collection started. I have two Aqua Allegorias so far: Nerolia Bianca and Bergamote Calabria. I also have Habit Rouge EDT, Habit Rouge L’Eau, Heritage EDT, L’Instant de Guerlain EDT, Guerlain Homme EDP, and I’m getting Vetiver soon. And I have two bottles of the discontinued L’Homme Ideal Cologne. My Guerlain wish list includes Spiriteuse Double Vanille, incense de Mythique D’Orient, AA Mandarine Basillic, AA Limón Verde, AA Pamplelune, AA Herba Fresca, AA Teazzura, AA Passiflora, AA Rosa Pop, L’Homme Ideal EDT and EDP, L’Homme Cool, Gourmand Coquin, Tonka Imperiale, and Jicky. I had a bottle of Aqua Allegoria Lys Soleia, but I have it to my mom. She loved it more than I did. It’s pretty hard to pick a favorite Guerlain, but for me, Heritage might be tops.
I think you collect the Shalimars because they remind you of your grandma and you miss her:) New sub!

I blind-bought Mon Guerlain in the early spring and couldn't handle it. I'm hoping I'll enjoy it more this fall/winter, but every time I spray it...I find it really overpowering😏I really enjoyed the Mandarin Basilic Aqua Allegoria this summer. So refreshing, but lasting power is so short. Nice collection!
Loved this video, and Mon Guerlain as well, years later enthusiasts are coming around to it but my favorites at the moment are Mitsouko and L'Heure Bleue. The brand needs to toss those bulb atomizers in the trash though. What did you think of Iris Torrefie?

Guerlain perfumes are classy ! I love shalimar and hated when Shalimar light was discontinued but found it on ebay.Have Samsara,l'heure blue,mon Guerlain which i wasnt sure of at first,L'instant ,idylle Allegoria bergamot which i love and 2 other Allegorias,Cruel Gardenia,Cuir Gardenia beautiful! Complements from lots of them!
Lola I also love the meteorites scent and they have been my favourite make up product too! I never smelt the fragrance but would love to one day.
I love so many Guerlains. Favourite allegoria is mandarin basilic- beautiful refreshing and herbal mandarin, very realistic. I also love L’Heure Bleue a d Gourmand Coquin ❤️; other favourites are Bois d’Armenie, Cuir Beluga, Angelique Noire.
I hope these beautiful juices survive the “clever” marketing changes afoot with homogeneous and pricier bottles😭

Hi love! I am the same, I usually am not a flankers person, with only one huge exception and is Alien, I want.every.single.flanker.out.there. Other than that, I always start with the original and stay there pretty much forever. However I can't appreciate Shalimar, I just can't with the original, and the only one I have is the Souffle de Parfum that I literally adore. Great video bella!🌸

My favorite was Menthafolia, which I loved to lighten heavier perfumes. This month I just bought Nahema and Black Perfecto. They’re ok. Nahema isn’t as I remembered from my early 20’s. I thought it was beautiful, but too mature for me.
Have never sniffed Menthafolia. Will have to ask my friend who has a large collection for a sniff. Thanks!
Mon guerlain is my favourite. I like the intense version. I may try shalimar, spiroteuse vanille and gourmand coquine.
I have gourmand coquin, french kiss, sdv, insolence. I loooove Guerlain till death do us part 💕💕
My son got expelled and went to live with grandma too. As far as perfume, I don’t have as many Guerlains, just Mitsouko and Terracotta.
Thank you for the lovely video. I am a Guerlain fan! I have Herba Fresca, Vetiver, Imperiale Cologne Vol De Nuit, Mitsouko EDT, L'Heure Bleue EDT, Shalimar EDC, Habit ROUGE EDP and a sample of Jicky which I hope to buy soon!. As you can see I prefer the older perfumes.
Guerlain scents I love....L'heure Bleu, Samsara, Shalimar, Vol de Nuit. All of which I’ve owned for years. Newer ones...Gourmand Coquin, Cuir Beluga, Mon Guerlain, Shalimar Souffle Intense . And on my want list Angelique Noire. Oh and almost forgot to mention L’Homme Ideal Cologne love this in the summer even though they label it for men.

Thank you for this video… I also dismissed mon Guerlain. I had a sample which I sprayed once and was like meh…. I left it in my bathroom cabinet, one night after a shower I was looking for something to spray for bed… I randomly though I would try it again and wow! I purchased a bottle that night
Lovely video! L'Heure Bleue is so beautiful, my absolute favourite bedtime fragrance. I love many Guerlains, Angelique Noir, Cruel Gardenia, vintage Meteorites, AA Teazzurra, AA Limon Verde and AA Pera Granita (the performance of that one is really bad though). So many more and now I really want to try Mon Precieux Nectar...🙂

You have a very nice Guerlain collection! I love Gourmand Coquin, you made me buy it - haha! Mon Guerlain EDP is truly one of my favorite fragrances, it is beautiful and comforting and I can always be in the mood for it. I love to spray my sheets (and myself) before bed. Tonka Imperiale and Spritueuse Double Vanille are also way up there, as you can see I love vanilla. I have the Shalimar EDP, and the Souffle de parfum but, my favorite is the Shalimar Cologne, EDT version. It is lighter and you really get the lemon, I also think it's the easiest to wear. I have a bunch of the Aqua Allegoria fragrances, the Limon Verde and Herba Fresca are my favorites, I have been very curious about the Cherrysia and the two new releases. I have to try L'Heure Bleue. My favorite Guerlain is (and I expect will always be) Shalimar parfum, edp & edt. I love many others: Mitsouko edp, L’Instant Magic, Bois d’Armenie (so sad it’s discontinued and wear it sparingly), Shalimar Parfum Initial, Gourmand Coquin, Angelique Noire, L’Heure Bleue (but I only wear it during summer bc the heat helps the medicinal notes burn off). I feel about Shalimar like you feel about L’Heure Bleue. I agree with you about L’Heure Bleue; I find it cozy and comforting. To me Mitsouko is the melancholy fragrance of the bunch; it can bring me to tears if I focus on it too much.

My favorite Guerlain is Cruel Gardenia. I like understated scents, and Cruel Gardenia suits my personality completely. It’s the only scent I can allow myself to bathe in without worrying about offending others with my scent (as usually I’m the one on the receiving end of intrusive scents and would rather avoid causing others the same grief, lol). Recently I also fell in love with Angelique Noir and have been wearing it quite often. I do have a modest collection of Guerlain perfumes, with 7 full bottles, but alas do not have a full bottle of Shalimar or it’s flanker, as I’m still searching for a Shalimar that I’d like to own.
I love Mon Guerlain, it is so special, my go to perfume when I want to lift my mood and make me happy. I am finding it hard to source at the moment. I am intrigued by L’heur Bleu I want to add it to my collection

I really want the original Meteorites! I wish they would bring it back! I have the new one, and I was disappointed, too. I wear it to bed. It doesn't last long enough for a daytime scent. I find it has changed and the fruitiness/ apple is less intense and the violet seems more prominent now. I had the same expereince with Mon Geurlain- I didn't want to like it, but I gave in and now it's a good everyday scent for me. One that you didn't mention that I love and is another everyday scent for me and very comforting is L'Instant Magic- not the plain L'Instant, but the Magic one. Another you didn't mention- Insolence EDP has been a longtime favorite.

Now I am a collector, I presently have around 300 bottles that I absolutely love and wear! I am a fan of Guerlain fragrances two of my favorites are Tonka Imperiale and Neroli Outrenoir! My favorite is Guerlain's "Songe d'un Bois D'ete" which unfortunately has been discontinued. Allegedly it's now been renamed and repackaged as "Bois Myserterieux"." When I read the description on Fragrantica however it sounds nothing like my beloved Songe. I haven't been able to get to a tester due to Covid to confirm my fear.

I love the Shalimar flankers also. I regret I didn't buy Initial before. It's gorgeous ! Now they only sell it in les Parisiennes collection like Mon précieux nectar and I'm not a great fan of that sprayer either 😅

I heard this bad news and wasn’t sure if it was worldwide or just in the US. I haven’t been able to find anything very similar. If I want a similar feel I use Panay London Pink Champagne Truffle. I haven’t found anything that replicates Gourmand Coquin.

There is something about Insolence I just don’t like. Maybe it’s the raspberry. It comes off very cloying on me.
