My wife just purchased the 30ml bottle of Vol de Nuit Parfum (the propeller bottle) but hasn't had the heart to cut the cord yet. Holt Renfrew ordered it from Paris, it's hard to get in Canada so we were considering the EDT to spray with wild abandon. I know of one 80th Anniversary Vol de Nuit currently available in the 60ml bottle-very, very rare. One of our favorite Guerlain is the Muguet Millésime 2020 in the 125ml Bee bottle, a sure sign of Spring.
Guerlain is one of my favourite houses, one that gets it's own shelf in my collection. I just ordered Terracotta this weekend. It has been on my wishlist for a long time and I decided I needed it for this coming summer. Thankfully it's widely available in Canada at a pretty reasonable retail price ($95CAD). It seems to be a fragrance that is only sold in certain markets, Canadians and a lot of Europeans seem to have easy access to it. When I see it pop on discount sites it tend to be priced around the retail price or higher. I'm excited to wear it, I have tested it in store a bunch of times over the years and always find it beautiful.
I love Mon Guerlain edp but I really want to try Idylle, Insolence and so many others! It's hard to tell if you should go with an edt or edp for some scents, for most really! 🤔 Thank you for another enjoyable and informative video! ☺
Great video - thank you! I can’t wait to hear your review of Chypre Fatale! Fun useless fact about Shalimar Souffle Intense - the color of the juice is tinted dark blue, similar to the bottle! I just decanted a bit and was surprised to find that out!
i don’t understand ppl saying the aqua allegorias aren’t expensive like did guerlain massively raise prices bc like the smaller ones are over 100 dollars and the larger size 150! i guess affordable if you get them on a second hand resale fragrance site but now they are not cheap at all
Simultaneously binge watching YT Guerlain fragrance videos and blind buying…a dangerous late night hobby for me 🤣…thoroughly enjoyed this video and was happily surprised that Terracotta is your #1 because I just purchased a new sealed one. I currently own several Guerlains; they are my favorite perfume house and I look forward to discovering more! Thx for the excellent review

Guerlain makes the best classic fragances. I also have over 25 bottles. My favorites are the Shalimar line, especially L’initial. Omg it smells soooo goood. I just ordered the Shalimar Philtre. I hope it smells better.
You mentioned re-purchasing fragrances. Can you recommend a site or group that I can sell some of my collection to? Unfortunately after my cancer treatment many of my fragrances no longer smell the same to me. Someone needs to enjoy them again.
I cant wait to get a chance to watch the whole thing-- my wish list already contains Terracotta, the new Mon Guerlain, Black Perfecto, and many Aqua Allegorias. I'm sure itll be more by the end of the video!
I have recently seen some youtubers that layer luxury fragrance with things like Bath and Body lotions and VS mists. Eeek...I could never! These perfumers have curated and blended by master perfumers-but hey to each hos own as they say. I think a pure singular note like the Kaylani vanilla or an amber or sandalwood oil would be good to layer with extremely light fragrances like the aqua allegoria, or maybe even layering within flankers of original scents.

Me, too. Mitsouko especially. It’s transportive and emotionally affecting. It’s a masterpiece.
