  • Brilliant inventor Nikola Tesla tried to build an ideal modern world at the very beginning of the 20th century. The scientist wanted to create a unique system capable of sending electricity all over the world without wires. To do this, in 1901, he began building one of his most ambitious projects - the Wardenclyffe Tower. His plans included building about 30 towers and installing them all over the world. Why didn't it work out in the end?

      Nothing about Tesla is renewable my friend. The batteries, the cars are all produced using fossil fuels yet alone the batteries which are also created using mined materials and again a process that requires fossil fuels. We then continue using fossil fuels to generate the electricity used to charge the batteries. Tesla is nothing but a backwards system with a clever marketing name.

    The tunnels you claim are mysterious were a necessary part of the construction. You allude to the experiments of conducting electricity through the ground. Tesla himself in his autobiography never describes using the ionosphere as the medium. "Beneath the tower, a well-like shaft plunged 120 feet into the ground. Sixteen iron pipes were driven three hundred feet deeper so that currents could pass through them and seize hold of the earth. "In this system that I have invented," Tesla explained, "it is necessary for the machine to get a grip of the earth, otherwise it cannot shake the earth. It has to have a grip... so that the whole of this globe can quiver.""

      No, no we dont, in fact everything I know about the physics of electricity screams out that this idea was completely impractical from the start. Air and electricity do not get along in the slightest, maybe such a device wouldve worked for close range energy transmission, but transmitting energy across the planet wouldve had an unacceptable amount of power loss that would mean most of the world would get maybe 10% of the emitted power if we're lucky

      @SusieQ123 sure, alright, let's keep searching here. In addition to the massive energy efficiency issues with this tower, calling it a "free energy" tower is beyond misleading, because there is no such thing as free energy. Consider this, that tower was designed to be constantly emitting energy, where exactly is that energy coming from? You would need to have some kind of generator to provide the emitted energy in the first place, whether that generator is oil, fossil, wind, solar, nuclear, etc. Point is, that energy still has to come from somewhere, and that somewhere is going to cost money, not to mention the bill for building these towers, maintaining them, improving them as our society's energy demands continue to increase. Bottom line is, someone's going to have to pay for these towers

    His tower used non hertzian/non electromagnetic wireless power transfer in intimate contact with the earth for virtually no loss & if the transmitter tower was constructed in a negative resistant RLC fashion & the phase angle of the receivers lagged the phase angle of the Earth's natural electrical system by 90 or 180 degrees then excess power would be made manifest into the wireless power grid via the Earth itself & his tower would have produced no noise or sparks during operation. Just silent raw wireless power of a non electromagnetic & non hertzian nature to run whatever you desire & an unlimited amount of people could tune into the tower for power & communications without placing an electrical strain on it similar to how an unlimited amount of people can tune into a radio station. Although this is tesla style radio, not the Marconi ripoff.

  • @julianj9830
    @julianj9830 5 месяцев назад

    I think the real reason his project never came to fruition is because radio waves were starting to be used around the same time he started his tower. Maybe people thought this tech would disrupt radio waves. That's why it never gained much traction from investments and lead JP Morgan to stop funding.
