if my skin was that clear and perfect i’d ever wear foundation. wow

I've been this as my routine for years, with the addition of a few extra steps. I use a setting spray after I do each step for my face routine. My makeup lasts and never budges, even if extremely oily skin.

My Mom and Aunt used their hands/fingers to apply foundation/make up back in the 80’s (Philippines). I remember clearly. They always looked dolled up ❤

I'm only 34 and i didnt start using brushes and sponges until about 7-8 years ago unless it was a cream foundation that came with one.
These are some very good tips. Especially the one about not using foundation under the eyes! It always irritates me when my concealer cakes up. Thank you!
TY TY TY... I didn't know any of this & I think it'll be A HUGE help with my mature skin I'm struggling with. I'm 47 & I am by no means complaining because I'm lucky to have really good genes & not have skin issues, but I can't rewind age. Lately I feel like I'm struggling so much & my foundation looks weird. I'll be trying all of these out.
you need botox then! lol. it's not just for wrinkles- bc it freezes the muscles, it tightens the pores and it'll give your skin a polished look even w no make up.
With or without make you still look gorgeous ma'am 😀👌

I have the same sponge! Beauty blenders and setting sprays are some of the best products ever.
Where are these lashes from?
Primer spray is a thing. Not all setting sprays work under base makeup, some of them don’t have the tack and grip necessary for long wear.

What's awesome is that I have done these techniques for years. Not because I know crap about applying makeup but because I'm lazy. I have always applied foundation with my fingers because I mix it with my moisturizer, again lazy, it's quick. I go over with beauty blender just to make sure it looks blended but still so much quicker than applying it any other way. I moisturize under my eyes because I'm older and makes my concealer look smoother. Glad someone like C. Dominique approves!!! :)

I can’t put foundation on with my fingers. It freaks me out to have anything on my hands. I’m constantly washing them. It’s a problem but I’m working on it. Maybe I’ll try it again soon.
Go spend a week on a farm or camping - you’ll have dirt on your fingers and you’ll get over it…..and you might enjoy it! (Not to mention it will supercharge your immune system). Just leave the make up at home you won’t need it 🤓. Plus, fresh air is the best skin primer 😎
