I've seen a few of these going around to other lego Minecraft creators! I loved the stories you told, they radiated with nostalgia, and your creation is epic!
glad to see you were one of the 15 who got this! after seeing some of the other people who got it and you not posting anything I was a bit... worried lol for my minecraft memory, it'd be my diamond, gold, and iron block house with a railway through it, this was made in a pocket edition world with limited borders and the railway running along the edge of it, good stuff.
There were some... let's say 'hiccups' in the shipping that delayed this by a good month, and mine was already sent off later than the others' by my estimate as well. Just so happy to have it though - it is definitely the highlight of my LEGO collection! Ah, the Pocket Edition. Just the words alone take me on a nostalgia trip. Glad you got to experience those early, early days too!
I saw his promo by another creator and I'm so glad to see that you got yours! I'll never forget the hundreds of hours my friends and I managed to put into the early days of Minecraft on Xbox back on the 360. Bricks were a HOT commodity if you wanted that red brick for your chimney or fireplace because clay was SO rare! The updates added so much groundbreaking content back then, but then again I haven't really played past v1.12.2 nowadays for access to old tech mods.
Wow!!! Being one of the 15 Minecrafters to get this set must be amazing! And I know exactly why you are among them seeing as you (as always) did not disappoint whatsoever! I can’t wait for that player base now :D
Y'know what would've been cool? if you actually managed to fit a build inside of the ore block with the face mined out, so you can see the build inside!
The only time I've ever really spent with Minecraft was years ago when I was hollowing out a mountain to make Castle Mountain, a castle built into a mountain for the Wyllard, the Mountain King's court. It was a character I came up with as a Magic: The Gathering OC. It's the only memeory I have with the game, and I don't have the pieces to really make that.
One of my favorite memories of playing minecraft would have to be my first real base built inside of a mountain cave. Had so much fun with my brother, and would give anything to have the world again.
I wish I had kept my old survival world too. My brother and I would always take turns playing on it, and we built up a pretty nice place. Good times...
I remember the first time I played Minecraft I just wandered around until night when I got attacked by a spider and then I drowned. Don’t know if that would look good in Lego bricks or not 😅
first thing i remember building was an amusement park with all sorts of parkour and coasters and water slides. ironically in the middle, there was a hotel! perhaps it’s a canon event for everyone to build a hotel in minecraft at one time in their lives
That is amazing! It's really cool that TLG has recognised you for your Minecraft builds! That hotel really does remind me of the early days. Excellent work with the limited blocks. I think the first things I built with my friends was a massive castle that had a dock with a ship. We used smooth stone for the walls and the polished stone half slabs for details. We ended up using so much coal, to cook the cobblestone back into smooth stone (because it was way before silk touch) we had to travel further and further away to find coal deposits. Really cool build, lots of fond memories. RIP that server 😢

The impenetrable, deep blue of the water back then also made it a lot harder to see within.
I remember playing Minecraft for the first time on my cousin’s Xbox 360 in the old starter castle. Me and him would explore the little Easter eggs and made some little structures in the desert. It would eventually lead me to getting Minecraft on my Xbox and making my first ever world, and my first ever creation on the world was a small island town where villagers live in torture chambers while I have snow golems trying to fight off the monsters that would enter the chambers. Ahh such nostalgic memories :)
I still vividly remember my first ever proper Minecraft house in survival mode, way back on my WiiU eight years ago (R.I.P. legacy console edition). Just a simple square house, spruce wood with a cobblestone base, couldn't have been more than 8x8 blocks in size. I had one side and my brother had the other. I covered an entire wall with furnaces. Oh, how I miss the simple days... Side note, maybe this is because I've never exactly been a talented builder in Minecraft, but I was very impressed with your hotel design! And for your first build, too. It looks amazing in LEGO form, and I can't wait to see what you come up with for your expanding Minecraft world's player base!
Thank you! I appreciate it. I never realized until making this video that you could play Minecraft on the WiiU. I do miss those simpler times too - I played a lot of PE back in the day...

If I had to build one of my favorite LEGO Minecraft memories, I'd have to go with me and my friends' first survival server last year, it was a tough time for me, I broke my leg in a rollerskating accident, and I had to spend 3 months in recovery, meaning I couldn't go to school for that amount of time and to cope with the fact that I was never going to see my friends in person in 3 months, I finally decided to buy Java Edition for the first time (I only played Console and Mobile til then) and we all decided to make a server so that we could still chat and talk, and do stuff together even if I was in bed with a cast. In those months I spent all my time on Minecraft, building farms, and planning builds. We celebrated Christmas on that server, and New Year's. My masterpiece was a giant deepslate castle on the hill next to our base, and it was beautiful, I used all the loot from all my farms to make it perfect. I'm still so grateful that Minecraft gave me an avenue to explore my creativity, and still be able to make memories with my friends
I remember my first house in Minecraft, back in 2011 me and my brother got it, and had no idea how to turn logs into planks and ended up building an entire house made out of logs
While I didn't play survival when I first started playing (back in 1.2), I do have this really fond memory of building a base out of a floating slime island on a Hexxit server. It had a farm on the top and the base itself clung to the bottom of the island and had a great view over the world. Hexxit always holds a special place in my heart for being my first exposure to mods for the game, and it was great.
I remember when I started MC in 2014. A friend that I have fallen out with introduced me to the game. We had a world on the WiiU that is still there! The world borders on the wiiU were TINY, so we had builds crammed into every nook and cranny of the place. My friend made a wooden fort in the spruce Forrest, I had an enchanting hut along with a floating restaurant in the jungle. We both made a mushroom island base across from a snowy plain where I made a central house for myself. I even recreated Ivor's lab from story mode block for block up there after a few years. No way I could build all of this, but I would build a small tree house with dogs in it to remember him by.
@CheeseyStudios knowing the quality of your work, I can already smell the solid 10/10 Edit: Please, please prank us with a dirt house, would be hilarious and iconic 🙏
I'd absolutely look at adding the hotel to the moc. First builds are special things as an artist. I always keep my first (hideous) warhammer mini around as a reminder as how far ive come as a painter. Maybe an updated version of the hotel could be fun to add as a reminder...
The building from 2:30 is really satisfying to watch, with the one hand nearly fixed in position, while the other flies across the frame. Also, you should totally get a sponsorship with a fancy-shirt brand, because every video you show off a new one haha!
Your build reminded me of the old x box 360 version of Minecraft, I think that's why I love it so much. If I got this package, I would probably build my spawn from my version of the x box 360, including the tree house with the small dirt hut that I never torn down.
I love how they glued certain parts so the brickerite would open in a specific manner. Slow-mo looked dope! Reminiscing on my first world, I would build a snowy tiaga with torch paths to little hidden cave houses. I had a really bad laptop when I first got the game, and with the lowest of all settings, I'd get lost just traveling a few chunks away from my houses (hence the multiple bases and torch trails) 😂 Great memories ngl :)
This is one of the coolest things Lego has done and I'm glad you got to be part of it 👍 Makes sense why you work for Hypixel you were a great builder from the beginning✨ Also I kinda just want to see the hotel slide in with the rest of the Minecraft world where the player base would be, just temporary though. 👍
That might make for a fun placeholder at the very least! But yeah, so so happy I got included in this fun project. It's by far the coolest LEGO Minecraft thing I own!
If there was something I would rebuild, it would be my attempt at making a nether portal flat on the ground. I was a kid at the time first discovering minecraft, so I didn't exactly know how it worked 😅
I made a full town for server way back during the 1.0 release. I named it "Firewood" and the crowning achievement was a spooky abandoned asylum I staged on the outskirts of the town. Even tried setting up a little ARG for it because I was a big fan of the "Broville" build download at the time. Gooooood times. :)
Can’t put into words how much this warmed my heart to be taken back to these times. 💕 I’ll have to load up the old server and see how the hotel holds up for fun. Can’t tell you the last time I heard “PieMaker”, haha. This made my day.
Glad you found this video! ❤️ The server was the first thing that came to mind honestly. Those were great times. Can't believe you still had the world 😂
So glad to see you got one of these! You are very deserving of it - your content is choice. I would probably have built a cliffside house, as that's usually how I made houses back in the day in Minecraft.
One of my fondest memories is getting the first crafting box as my first ever minecraft set. This thene is such a break from the complicated other themes. Hopefully LEGO keeps making minecraft sets for decades to come
That is such a cool idea to celebrate the anniversary. That's gotta be one of the most unique things LEGO has ever done. As for my build, it'd be my far away vacation home built on top of a mountain. It was all brick and had a lot of windows. I've never been able to recreate a house that I've loved as much as that one.
I remember my first base I built in Minecraft back in 2011. It was a confusing spaghetti mess of tunnels running through just below the grass layer. However, the very first thing I made that I was proud of was a massive flying pirate ship with working TNT cannons.
@@CheeseyStudios I'd love to play some survival too, but maybe in the older editions for nostalgia. For the pirate ship, it was pretty cool. I was also supper big, easily around 100 block long.
I’ve tried to watch every Brickerite Ore video and I’m excited that you actually got one since I already like your content. I’d say my 2nd favourite person that got one is known as Trixyblox.
one of my first builds i can vividly remember was a dirt hut. It was lined with spruce to give it that flare. It has since then spanned over 5 servers ive played on, and once i get my legos back, it'll be here too :]
WOoow you got one GG, I only saw it with mainly Minecraft RUclipsrs till now this is cool And tho I have some memories from a decade ago, not much to go off from, except maybe a mine cart falling down onto rails below that didnt work, and that then lead to a turn on the right to an underwater glass tunnel ride... I think I restarted like 4 years ago but the problem with that is that I mainly made lego builds in minecraft lol
I remember how much I liked watching rooster teeth play Minecraft in their world, so I had built my main world to be a walled area where I had my house as well as 3 other houses for my friends whenever they could come over. We played in the world one time and it was really fun, but I loved keeping those structures that represented my friends at the time. This was back when I only had Xbox 360 Minecraft
Congrats on being chosen to open one of these! My first ‘Minecraft’ memory was losing my floating tnt house. It was in a knockoff free version, but i still consider it as a Minecraft memory
That was absolutely lovely! Super wholesome and I got big time second-hand nostalgia haha! Truly awesome. You definitely deserve to be one of those 15 Minecrafters who received the Ore! That hotel looks great honestly, I love it and it’s pretty impressive for a first build too! My earliest Minecraft memory is slowly destroying a tree on top of a small hill and being really proud of myself, exclaiming “YES!” once I had done it. I was playing on pocket edition on my friend’s iPad too 😭 Though the earliest could have also been him showing me around the farm & farm house he had made in his world, OR (and I think this might’ve been the first actually) I saw a woman playing pocket edition on the subway in NYC when I lived there, and I distinctly remember thinking to myself “why is she playing as a square?” Since she was in first person and all I could see on the screen was the structure she was building and a stone block in her hand haha! 🤣
I would either build my first little wooden house, or build me getting blown up on my first night by a creeper, both very fond memories of my first time playing.
I would love to see your hotel incorporated into the world. For the sheer amount of money, time and effort you've put into ensuring the lego Minecraft world series is the best viewing possible viewing experience, you deserve to have one of your own personal fondest memories of the game immortalized in it for all to see.
Definitely not my earliest build, but one of my favorites is the spruce and dark oak mansion I made on a server with some of my friends, which I’ve rebuilt in some way in every server after that.
I remember my first time playing Minecraft. It was back during the TU9 version of the Xbox 360 Edition, I played with my dad and older brother since we didn’t know that online multiplayer was a thing yet, and our first night was spent in a deep cave where we could still see the sky and tell when it was day, and we had our crafting table and furnace above us slightly. I do remember that the fernace was smelting something all night, but I can’t recall what it was.
my Minecraft memory is back when I was like maybe 6? 7? sometime around there. I had started to make a castle in a mountain valley back when villages were basic structures. The nether was still just one biome, there were no biome expansions like the deep oceans, the badlands, or even the savannah biome. but I fell into lava and I was unfortunate enough to rage delete the world. one of my biggest regrets. so many memories in it.
I’d absolutely try to build my first mob grinder in a structurally sound way. I actually think as a larger set that crosses display and play with a box and drop tube grinder would be great cuz it would be big enough to make interesting as a display unit and have the space for some cool pre-redstone mechanisms
when I was 10 maybe 9, me and my sister made two different bases (hers was a large room that looked similar to a disco, and mine was a more compact house that had the essentials) and I remember building a message transport system between them with water. Another earlier memory when I was probably younger, was me blowing a big hole in the ground of a desert with TNT and putting a base with stairs into it at the bottom. God, Minecraft PS3 edition was so good.
Once the Lego Minecraft series you're making is done I think it would be fun to have a tiling montage video, including every tiling section of all the Minecraft videos.
I would build the lab that I made back when I first got the game, it was an ugly thing made of diamond blocks, netherack, pink wool and obsidian, but damn it I loved it. I can’t find the world anywhere now, which is a shame, but at least I still remember it.
Back when I started MINECRAFT in 2015 my first memory was of a house I made in creative it was a brick house I tried to recreate my actual house and I failed horribly because I just got the game and I had never seen or played before. Lego Minecraft lets me continue these memories by building and playing with them.😊😢😊
I remember when I first played Minecraft in 2012, I could barely do anything given how young I was. As the years passed I made a church, obsidian safehouses with an underground pool, noah's ark, a cake factory, an obsidian structure with a redstone armour swapper I found in a book. Truly good times.
My very first Minecraft world was on my iPad when pocket edition was fairly new. Since we only had the one iPad me and my brother had a workd we took shifts working on, each having our own respective loot
My first played through I built an island fortress that had two pathways that bridged across the river and across the land until they eventually tunneled through the world instead of meandering around it. One path went through a short and wide gravel mountain and out into a desert, and the other went through a tall snowy mountain and came out into a badlands. Good times.
I play on the public Dogcraft server. Last map, before we updated to 1.20 and reset everything, I built a giant-LEGO-brick house, with each LEGO brick made of wool (with carpets on top to stop spawning) - studs, tubes & all. Given that one block is one meter in Minecraft, the scale was roughly 625:1. That was a hell of a build.
Hey Cheesey! I've been watching you for a couple months now, and your videos never disappoint. I was really impressed with your plains village build, and I was surprised to find out that you were on the Hypixel build team. I just wanted to say that I'm really glad you have this RUclips channel. I hope you have a great day!
going from lego universe to minecraft is exactly the same thing that happened to me lol. ever thought of doing a build from that game? the build in this video is so cool by the way, liked the story :D
All my earliest stuff was underground ADHD labyrinths. The first "base" i built was repurposing a desert temple, the first thing i did was replace the orange wool with light blue.
The only content creator to actually appreciate this set when it was set to them. Amazing content as always, cheesy. Sorry for staring at you at brick world gr 2023 I thought I recognized you but didn’t say anything
It was fun to revisit those early days again. I don't really think about it all that often anymore, but it just brings back such good memories of a carefree, fun time.
One of my first creations was this house i made in a cave on the demo version of the game they had on their website. i remember one day an enderman found his way inside and i figured out about the thing where you put a 3 by 3 of blocks above you to prevent him from reaching you. good times.
I was so annoyed when I found out this existed cause I thought you didn't get one. I'm so glad I was wrong, cause if anyone needed to own such a rare Minecraft item it's you
It has been SUCH a struggle to get this lol. The package included safety glasses, which, according to customs, were 'an unregistered medical device' so this thing has been back and forth between the states and Denmark SEVERAL times. So glad it finally arrived. xD
I think my first Minecraft build was also a hotel, it was back during alpha or beta using a browser copy of the game which definitely wasn't the most legal thing in the world! When I did end up buying the game I made a little cottage in the middle of the desert, with a giant airship floating overhead
Yessss I remember loading up a few browser rounds back in the day, good times lol! I'm glad to be at a point where $30 no longer required 5 months of doing the dishes
So cool, I'm glad you got an excuse to show off some nostalgia, I do hope you can find a spot to host the Hotel on your world regardless though, it would add a quaint little bit more personal love you know? Although your fancy shelves I'm sure would do fine regardless :v On the topic of LEGO Universe have you considered doing reviews and such on LEGO games? Specifically I'm thinking of the actual LEGO games and not the licenced stuff but it would be weird not to touch them too but there's just so many!
For me it was a bedrock mega mansion with each floor being dedicated to something else, like a mob room, or maze, or vault room, or indoor roller coaster
dang, my first build wasn't nearly close that good! XD great video, and it was awesome to hear the memories! I personally would be saddened if I received this, because of all the beautiful glued parts I wouldn't be able to salvage.
If they actually glued some of the bricks together they sent you bedrock
lolololol so true - it's always crazy when LEGO breaks out the Kragle!

I love how they glued certain parts so the brickerite would open in a specific manner. Slow-mo looked dope!
Reminiscing on my first world, I would build a snowy tiaga with torch paths to little hidden cave houses. I had a really bad laptop when I first got the game, and with the lowest of all settings, I'd get lost just traveling a few chunks away from my houses (hence the multiple bases and torch trails) 😂
Great memories ngl :)
The potato computer days are iconic 😂
This is one of the coolest things Lego has done and I'm glad you got to be part of it 👍
Makes sense why you work for Hypixel you were a great builder from the beginning✨
Also I kinda just want to see the hotel slide in with the rest of the Minecraft world where the player base would be, just temporary though. 👍
That might make for a fun placeholder at the very least! But yeah, so so happy I got included in this fun project. It's by far the coolest LEGO Minecraft thing I own!
This is definitely an awesome promotion for the Lego Minecraft series.
That was the plan all along!!
I like the idea of a player base!
Hopefully early next year :o
If there was something I would rebuild, it would be my attempt at making a nether portal flat on the ground. I was a kid at the time first discovering minecraft, so I didn't exactly know how it worked 😅
That's hilarious 🤣 Minecraft is soooo unintuitive
I made a full town for server way back during the 1.0 release. I named it "Firewood" and the crowning achievement was a spooky abandoned asylum I staged on the outskirts of the town. Even tried setting up a little ARG for it because I was a big fan of the "Broville" build download at the time. Gooooood times. :)
Ah, this game brings back such good memories!
Can’t put into words how much this warmed my heart to be taken back to these times. 💕
I’ll have to load up the old server and see how the hotel holds up for fun.
Thank you! Yeah, good terrain and landscape makes a cool house even cooler!
I have been waiting forever for player bases to be added to your world! so cool to see this as the first!
I finally sat down and established plans for the in-world base last night! I think you'll like it. It's going to be a challenging build for sure
One of my fondest memories is getting the first crafting box as my first ever minecraft set. This thene is such a break from the complicated other themes. Hopefully LEGO keeps making minecraft sets for decades to come
Yes! That was my first set too. So many good memories.
There's nothing better than a good mountain to inspire an epic base.
I remember my first base I built in Minecraft back in 2011. It was a confusing spaghetti mess of tunnels running through just below the grass layer. However, the very first thing I made that I was proud of was a massive flying pirate ship with working TNT cannons.
Man, all this talk of bases makes me want to boot up a survival world again, ha! The pirate ship sounds awesome.
Trixyblox's build is so cool!
@@CheeseyStudiosikr
This is probably the best Lego Minecraft build they ever made. And it’s nice to see you build your first ever house in Minecraft!!
It's pretty epic. The size of the whole thing was pretty mind boggling!
@@CheeseyStudios And the weight too, 25 pounds!?!?! Sheesh!!!!!!!!
one of my first builds i can vividly remember was a dirt hut. It was lined with spruce to give it that flare. It has since then spanned over 5 servers ive played on, and once i get my legos back, it'll be here too :]
Yes! I'd love to see it rebuilt in LEGO.
Man, hearing the name "LEGO Universe" brings back memories. That was a hell of a game.
Right? Man, I wish they had killed it with the monthly subscription...
WOoow you got one GG, I only saw it with mainly Minecraft RUclipsrs till now this is cool
And tho I have some memories from a decade ago, not much to go off from, except maybe a mine cart falling down onto rails below that didnt work, and that then lead to a turn on the right to an underwater glass tunnel ride... I think
I restarted like 4 years ago but the problem with that is that I mainly made lego builds in minecraft lol
That's kinda funny - you're almost doing it backwards! 😂
Playing Minecraft with the gang... It doesn't get any better than that. I sure miss those days!
I would love to see your hotel make it into the Minecraft World in addition to a player base! It’s such a unique personal touch
Ah, I do wish I had more room. My house just too small 🤣
Congrats on being chosen to open one of these! My first ‘Minecraft’ memory was losing my floating tnt house. It was in a knockoff free version, but i still consider it as a Minecraft memory
I remember dabbling in those knockoff browser versions 😂 Good times
This would be a cool collab inside minecraft, maybe this could allow us to create more detailed objects like sideways slabs
Vertical slabs would change my life 😩
i feel like this ironically enough would be an awesome module to add to the world
btw,awesome stuff!
Thank you! I'm glad you like it
That was absolutely lovely!
I was playing on pocket edition on my friend’s iPad too 😭
Though the earliest could have also been him showing me around the farm & farm house he had made in his world, OR (and I think this might’ve been the first actually) I saw a woman playing pocket edition on the subway in NYC when I lived there, and I distinctly remember thinking to myself “why is she playing as a square?” Since she was in first person and all I could see on the screen was the structure she was building and a stone block in her hand haha! 🤣
The PE days were great honestly 🤣 So many good memories playing on my iPod Touch 4...
Oh man, I remember that hotel! That hit me like a jump scare. Those were good times...
No way! That's so epic haha. Good times indeed.
I would either build my first little wooden house, or build me getting blown up on my first night by a creeper, both very fond memories of my first time playing.
Ah, classic 🤣 Creepers drive me nuts sometimes...
@@CheeseyStudios Same, one time 5 creepers blew up on me in the same spot
I would love to see your hotel incorporated into the world. For the sheer amount of money, time and effort you've put into ensuring the lego Minecraft world series is the best viewing possible viewing experience, you deserve to have one of your own personal fondest memories of the game immortalized in it for all to see.
I'll have to see what I can do. :) Hopefully I can make the player base something equally meaningful, too.
Definitely not my earliest build, but one of my favorites is the spruce and dark oak mansion I made on a server with some of my friends, which I’ve rebuilt in some way in every server after that.
Building with the boys. That's the best part of this game. Miss the LAN worlds, up to 4am....
Honestly, sounds like you still remembered a lot of specifics! That's really cool
my Minecraft memory is back when I was like maybe 6? 7? sometime around there.
It's crazy how far the game has come. I still remember when Jungles were added - that update blew my mind!
I’d absolutely try to build my first mob grinder in a structurally sound way. I actually think as a larger set that crosses display and play with a box and drop tube grinder would be great cuz it would be big enough to make interesting as a display unit and have the space for some cool pre-redstone mechanisms
That's a really fun idea! I mean, who hasn't built a mob farm at some point?
happy to see you making it this far man. Been here for a long time, and have gotten to watch your channel blow up. 💪💪
Thanks for sticking around! It's been such a fun adventure.
That could have made for an excellent module in the display, if you think the player base you’re making works even better I can’t wait to see it!
It should be pretty epic! There's a lot of fun interior details I want to add
I don't remember my first survival base, but I remember building rollercoasters out of nether reactors in creative
Amazing 🤣
I remember building a house made of oak planks with lanterns made of oak fences back in 2016. I still remember how to build it today.
You think you'd be able to make a version of it in LEGO?
when I was 10 maybe 9, me and my sister made two different bases (hers was a large room that looked similar to a disco, and mine was a more compact house that had the essentials) and I remember building a message transport system between them with water. Another earlier memory when I was probably younger, was me blowing a big hole in the ground of a desert with TNT and putting a base with stairs into it at the bottom.
God, Minecraft PS3 edition was so good.
Super cool! Love the idea of the water transport system.
Once the Lego Minecraft series you're making is done I think it would be fun to have a tiling montage video, including every tiling section of all the Minecraft videos.
I might have to make that happen, ha! It's been a very popular suggestion
I would build the lab that I made back when I first got the game, it was an ugly thing made of diamond blocks, netherack, pink wool and obsidian, but damn it I loved it. I can’t find the world anywhere now, which is a shame, but at least I still remember it.
That's awesome 😂 It's impossible to forget that color scheme!
omg lego universe brings back some memories, wish that was still around i'd kill to relive some memories
Same though. I enjoyed that game so much.
The moment that LEGO pulls out the Kragle you know it's serious..
Right? 🤣
Seen this go around to other LEGO Minecraft YTers and you're the first one I've seen to actually mine it on one side like you do in Minecraft
Ha! I couldn't imagine doing it any other way 😂
Back when I started MINECRAFT in 2015 my first memory was of a house I made in creative it was a brick house I tried to recreate my actual house and I failed horribly because I just got the game and I had never seen or played before. Lego Minecraft lets me continue these memories by building and playing with them.😊😢😊
Bricks are so hard to get, too 😭
I was new to the game so it was in creative
It would be a great idea to put red carpet like that at the enterance of the playerbase as a little easter egg for the hotel.
That's a good plan honestly! I'll have to keep that in mind. It would make for a lovely pop of color too. There's not much red in the world
This is my favorite lego youtuber
❤️❤️❤️
I remember when I first played Minecraft in 2012, I could barely do anything given how young I was. As the years passed I made a church, obsidian safehouses with an underground pool, noah's ark, a cake factory, an obsidian structure with a redstone armour swapper I found in a book. Truly good times.
It's awesome how this game has spanned so much of our lives now. So many great memories to revisit.
My very first Minecraft world was on my iPad when pocket edition was fairly new. Since we only had the one iPad me and my brother had a workd we took shifts working on, each having our own respective loot
Ah, good times. I remember a similar experience on the iPod Touch. You couldn't close the app, or it would delete you world xD
*The price of this thing must feel like buying a real precious ore*
I do wonder how many pieces it is altogether. There's something like 2000 parts on the inside, and I'm sure the ore itself is a couple thousand!
My first played through I built an island fortress that had two pathways that bridged across the river and across the land until they eventually tunneled through the world instead of meandering around it. One path went through a short and wide gravel mountain and out into a desert, and the other went through a tall snowy mountain and came out into a badlands.
Good times.
That's great. I love how this game really brings back those memories
That sounds bonkers O_O
in 2015 one of my first minecraft builds was a giant library made entirely out of cobblestone
Nice, nice. Gotta love cobblestone!
Glad you found me! Hope you have a great day too :D
@@CheeseyStudios Thank you so much! :)
I've mostly only seen Minecraft (like, the game) youtubers get this, but i should've known you would get it!
great video, cheesey :)
Thank you! I'm so glad they sent this over, too. It's such a cool thing to have!
*Running around everywhere*
"TILING TIIIIIIIME!!"
Thanks a lot!
Can never have enough tiling :)
going from lego universe to minecraft is exactly the same thing that happened to me lol. ever thought of doing a build from that game?
the build in this video is so cool by the way, liked the story :D
I've wanted to do some LU build tutorials at some point. I've had some builds sitting around since the first months of this channel 😂
A 16x16 deepslate castle, equipped with posts to fire upon the enemy, also trapdoor ladders
Nice, nice!
My earliest Minecraft build was a 9x9 cobblestone tower which I built as high as my cobblestone supply would take me, with torches for windows.
Very nice. Gotta love some good ol' cobble structures!
All my earliest stuff was underground ADHD labyrinths. The first "base" i built was repurposing a desert temple, the first thing i did was replace the orange wool with light blue.
I still love taking over in-game structures and modifying them a bit!
man.. i remember the days when me and the lads build our first "house" with those nasty birch corners and coble walls :D
Those were the days 😂 We all thought we were artists too...
The only content creator to actually appreciate this set when it was set to them. Amazing content as always, cheesy. Sorry for staring at you at brick world gr 2023 I thought I recognized you but didn’t say anything
Lol! All good 🤣 It happens all the time these days haha
This just looks really sweet for both a nice build and a nice moment in your history to make!
It was fun to revisit those early days again. I don't really think about it all that often anymore, but it just brings back such good memories of a carefree, fun time.
Hey cheeses, love the Lego vids- i also love geckos (as you can probably tell from the name) and I think your leopard gecko is adorable!
Geckos are the best! Glad to see another gecko enjoyer here :)
Thats awesome! Glad to see one of my favorite lego creators was chosen for top 15 😁
I was so honored! It's definitely the coolest set in my LEGO collection now
@@CheeseyStudios awesome! 😁
One of my first creations was this house i made in a cave on the demo version of the game they had on their website. i remember one day an enderman found his way inside and i figured out about the thing where you put a 3 by 3 of blocks above you to prevent him from reaching you. good times.
Enderman in the home is always terrifying 👀
My first Minecraft build was an end city inspired thing I built in creative in a jungle, I think the version was the World of Color update on the PS3
Ah, the PS3 - iconic!
Although your fancy shelves I'm sure would do fine regardless :v
On the topic of LEGO Universe have you considered doing reviews and such on LEGO games? Specifically I'm thinking of the actual LEGO games and not the licenced stuff but it would be weird not to touch them too but there's just so many!
Oh, like the old board games line? I think my parents have some still at their house. There's a lot of really cool ones!
@@CheeseyStudios I was thinking about video games but since I wasn't aware of a boardgame line now you've got me much more curious :v
For me it was a bedrock mega mansion with each floor being dedicated to something else, like a mob room, or maze, or vault room, or indoor roller coaster
And wow I hit 2 years a month ago
Ooh, that sounds epic. I feel that an indoor roller coaster is also part of my dream home
One of my best memories of minecraft was my 1.20 starter base, a castle with dirt outer walls
Ah, iconic!
surely you're adding this to the world
Not this one, sorry 😬
dang, my first build wasn't nearly close that good! XD great video, and it was awesome to hear the memories! I personally would be saddened if I received this, because of all the beautiful glued parts I wouldn't be able to salvage.
Right? 😭 It's all that delightfully useful grey rock bits too!
