Random, but I love the black girl that's dancing with Kurt. She's done backup for so many numbers throughout the years and I've always thought she was gorgeous and a great dancer.
We never talk about the other cheerios that were obviously professional dancers that supported and uplifted the most iconic choreographies on Glee. Good to know.

I like what they did with it though because even though Kurt didnt mean to he was being predatorial and it isnt his fault he was lonely and hormones got the best of him so this episode showed him he needed to appreciate himself before anyone else which is a good message Chord ended up creating a funny character that made sense of his straightness. Kurt needed to hear more nos so when Blain finally says yes it means more

I wish he had at least one competition solo, Rachel after the first one wasn't even that good to be the main one, and Finn wasn't the best singer of the group. They did it all about Rachel when instead they could've done all about EVERYONE. Kurt is amazing, Mercedes i don't even have to say it, Tina BRO we didn't even hear her voice right, she is an amazing soprano and nobody talks about ittt, Artie is also really good, but of course we didn't have a chance know that much. And the show just focused in one character, had 5 seasons of character development, did everybody hate and love Rachel so they could just throw it all away in the end. Glee could be SO much greater, i wish they did it right

To compare the styles of Julie Andrews and Chris Collier would be comparing apples to oranges in a sense. While it is true that Chris's youthful talent helped him to sell this rendition extremely well, were it not for Julie's experienced vocal approach in the original role, there would have been no "Le Jazz Hot" for Chris to cover almost note for note...
I remember this was the first time I ever encountered queer representation in my life and this isn't even all that gay to today's standards. I just remembered being told that "being gay was bad" by so many people and even thinking the same myself. But that didn't stop me from the intrigue of seeing Kurt having played both genders. It was almost freeing and fascinating to have exprienced just Kurt, but especially in this song, breaking what I thought were the rules of living up to masculine expectations from everyone. Bottom line is that this song has so much memories of nostalgia and rebellion that I missed as a tween.
Honestly watching Kurt/Chris in Glee is giving me so much hope and drive to be a great artist and film maker. Being gay in a cruel world that will pull you down is difficult but because of how strong and great Kurt is in the Show and for how great Chris is out of the show. I will strive harder and achieve my dreams step by step.
