One of the big mistakes of Glee was the constant cheating and switching back and forth with different couples. It really ruined the set up of potentially good couples like Sam and Quinn here.

I mean like if we had to sacrifice Sam to have Blaine I have no problem like Blaine is a frigging match for Kurt.. And Sam ..i didn't see it.. Now even when he was introduced he just was there.. But Klaine is gr8 and I'm happy that it turned out for the better
Because Murphy wanted this show to feature Lea aka Rachel. Even though Dianna aka Quinn had the talent looks charisma and brains to carry the show. Murphy hated Dianna cause everyone loved Quinn. So he did everything he could from little screen time to crappy storylines to hurt Quinns popularity. All it did was make Dianna all but leave the show and the ratings which had been dropping every year to truly start tanking. He stated afterwards he regretted how he treated some of the cast. Bet that's as close to a apology as Dianna will ever get from that lazy unimaginative peace of useless floatsome
@cheese fries unholy trinity plus I liked Marley and kitty. Now if Marley's character and actress had replaced Rachel from the pilot and the unholy trinity actually protected Marley from the jocks then the lead character would have been loved. But calling Marley the new Rachel killed Marley as a character. She should have been called the new improved and lovable Rachel. Cause that girl was a better singer, better actress, better dancer just all around better!

I feel like they cheapened all of the character's storylines over time and gradually dumbed them down to a "meme" to gain quick viral views rather than building genuine character development for the long time fans. Blaine is a great example, he went from such a wise, smart and sweet character to pretty much a ditzy & emotional stereotypical gay teen.
