@@minturby5144 all the software and presets will run fine, just means you can’t use actual pedals through the fx loop. I wouldn’t stress, the software and tone possibilities are pretty epic without needing an fx loop. All I run through the loop are eq’s, reverbs and delays etc. All that can be set in the tone studio.
Master of Puppets was the gold standard of thrash songwriting and production with warm tones that also have clarity. It still holds a high level of appreciation with most metal fans.

@@evangibeau4489 I put a OD in front of my Katana. It frees-up an on-board slot in the Katana effects chain. It's subtle, but it helps sharpen the tone a bit. It's not going to be as dramatic as if you run an OD in front of a tube amp.

I love the fact that you assign the FX knob to the hi-gain in the parametric EQ. This fixes tone issues with the 50w stock speaker and whatever pickup we're running. All it takes is a slight tweak and BAM, it's ON! Thanks for all you do @LambChopper678 🎸🔥

Dude, you will not be disappointed. I had my Katana 50 for a year before I started using the Tone Studio and I wish I had started using it much sooner. It's unbelievable the amount of stuff in that program. I get it going every time I plug in now.

I love this video! I have a single 12" speaker floor model of the Katana 2 in 50 watt setup. I just discovered I can used this Boss Tones Studio software and it's totally changed my view of the amp. Thanks for putting this together!

Thank you for making this video and the presets. I have had the Katana for almost 2 years now and since I got it, I felt like I need to be sound engineer to use it. This made practising really frustrating, because I was ( and I guess I still am ) a beginner. Glad you finally checked the Katana out! It is great not having a room full of pedals just to get a good tone and using built in eeffects instead.
Great videos you’ve been making with the Katana. These modeling amps have gotten so good, and at such a reasonable price. I’ve got tube amps but I still keep my Katana around. It sounds great, and it keeps a fantastic high gain tone at whisper volumes.
I love the depth and detail. Master is also my all time favorite album, the album that got me to pick up a guitar and the album I always gravitate to at some point while holding an instrument. Great videos. Never comment here much but had to say how much I enjoyed this one and how happy I was that you made a return after your brief hiatus. Cheers.

You’ve done a really good job with this software. I’m a little bit impressed. I’m definitely gonna have to consider checking this stuff out. Megadeth, and Priest are my gems, but I’m sure there is so much more to accomplish as it seems to be able to diversify.

A suggestion I have for this is the bridge/breakdown riff in Dyer’s Eve right after the solo. It is absolutely brutal and I love it.
