Love the efficient use of the iPad sending sending a simple CC change value from the setlist / song. Great way to play live, especially when sitting in for a hired gun gig! I'm one of those nerds who loves to plan ahead like that and often don't get a ton of time to prep for a short-notice gig. Thanks!
Yep you done it, great idea! Thanks for sharing! I allways use the GT-100 too, it’s a Top Notch Sounding Board. There is no Board Realest that sounds better, they sounding all the same. And I think the knob’s are better than all this touch screens.
Contact spray …maybe…you swab a coke over the board, or other drinks? Open it and clean it carefully and clean the footswitch‘es and give‘em contact spray!
1. you need an iPad with a chordsheet app like onsong or forescore (which cansend midi commands) 2. you need a midi bluetooth adaptor (here yamaha BT MD BT01) 3. plug in the connector 4. connect your iPad to the adaptor with an app like midi wrench (or any app which can connect to it) 5. Program a midi command to your chord-sheet (where the patch is stored). The correct numbers are a little tricky. Midi uses the "0" for counting... The first is "0", the second "1" and so on. Patch 2-4 - which is the 8th on the GT 100 is the midi number "7" The GT 100 has a manual for midi, everything is written there. 6. Be careful not to reorder your patches on the GT 100. The midi command only stores a position on the GT 100, not a patch/song. If you change something, another patch/song as expected will be loaded. 7. for onsong you can find midi-tutorials on youtube.

Or any other Bluetooth controller…Smart Phone with a desired app will work too, I think so. Why not!?
