flyer boy Uuuuh You get to visit different cities that you never been to, You get to fly to the Bahamas, you get to meet new people everyday, He gets to fly a TBM 850.....(Sweet Plane), I can continue..........I am only 10 hours away from my commercial license and I can't wait for the opportunities I will have in the future.

Do you often fly OPF, FXE, TMB? Most of your videos that I've watched have been of the Bahamas. I recently got my PPL (last March) and fly out of Tamiami. I trained with 424 Aviation and now fly with the PanAir club and Civil Air Patrol. I recorded all my flight training lessons and posted them on RUclips.

When you said it was your plane, is that because your the pilot or do you own it ? I only see one passenger with you in the front sometimes, but no passengers in the back, what is the plane used for and your role as a pilot?

Turn on the "spot meter" function on the GoPro. It'll get rid of that overexposed white look outside.

rebelyell22 Just filmed another flight this morning with the Spot Meter on...a lot better visibility out the windows! :) Your advice will make my future videos much better. thank you...as far as flight schools I couldn't really give you a accurate recommendation as I haven't been to one in 8 years. The one I went to was Airborne Systems out of KFXE and I liked it but that was many years ago.

Sorry but she's mostly wrong, British people don't really find the American accent attractive.
Quite right, we find is unattractive, in some cases almost repulsive! Even worse when they try to sound "posh" and end up with a fake British accent
it's subjective, like everything to do with attraction.
I guess what people mean is the Queen's English, because it just sounds sophisticated and polite.
and many Americans don't particularly like the british accent... now the irish accent... that something special.
ScottyGoesNoot I've never met an American that liked the British accent. General consensus is that it's annoying as fuck.

Your callsign sounds familiar think I have worked it before. It's amazing that you can talk to the camera and your passengers and not miss a transmission which makes me wonder what some of these other pilots are doing that I have to repeat myself three times. Of course I could have given you a pass if you were distracted during this flight I know I was :D

Love the videos!! Have always wanted to fly... and now that I'm getting into retirement age... it's about time to get off the pot! Really like 'FlightChops' vids too, he seems to fly anything and his commentary is very educational... so thanks for the link tip.
Always wanted to fly, and you are my inspiration... well you were the first video I started watching on flying... then I went looking everywhere for vids. Looked into PPL...phew $$$$, checked out FAA FAR 103 and not that brave... yet. Seems like the sports/experimental aircraft pilot would be more of what I would like in flying. Still researching... Quicksilver, Kolb, and Excalibur. On the helicopter side, check out the Mosquito... now that looks like it would be a blast.

Great video. I wish I knew how you guys can afford to fly such exy aircraft! Sonia is one cool bird as well - you need to start up your own channel there Sonia! I'd follow you anywhere.. Both of you need to fly out to Perth W.A. and check out 'our' beaches (actually Esperance has the best beaches in Oz if you ever down this way). Btw... the more I see of the TBM the more of a TBM convert you make me! Nice plane.

I had such a bad experience@ FXE, I went there last month from NY just to finish up and take a checkride. The CFI there was charging me for ground school when he was not doing any ground. When I asked him how he is calculating ground school time, he simply said if you are not happy then leave. I was so upset with him that I took the next flight to NY without checkride or anything.

I was just on the TBM 850 website reading up on the 850. They said all their 850's have Garmin G1000 panels...but clearly your TBM does not. How did you get an 850 without the all glass G1000 panel?

Jolinator Thanks for watching. The thing with the aviation community is its actually very small. I have helped out many people I know with getting jobs and also friends have helped me out in the past. If you enjoy aviation and plan on perusing it as a career hatred will not get you very far.
***** thanks for the reply!, i have been working in the I.T field for most of my working courier, however decided it was time for a change as it was killing my soul, i have just got my PPL, now slowing working my way to obtaining a CPL, aged 28, now just hoping im not to old to find a job once i have my quals and hours up, hoping i can get a job flying pc-12 for the RFDS , like you i have no interest in flying the heavys i would much rather fly stick and rudder. also whats the song playing at 19:38? i have tried to shazam it to no avail. once again fantastic video, safe skies my friend.

Such an excellent video! Funny to hear you discussing the British accent. Did you know that 'bird' is (slightly misogynistic) British slang for a woman? A bit like when North American guys say 'chick'. So when I first read the title of the video I genuinely thought you were talking about the passenger...whole new meaning :-/
