GREAT flight Steve. Love drone footage as well. Your vids are some of the best on the tube. We feel like we are in the right seat when we are on board. Thanks again from 95472
Steve, thanks for taking all of us along with you, it was a smooth flight indeed... from my Lazyboy. Many years ago I piloted a C-172, with a ADR radio, it was a two in one instrument. Don't know if there still used today, but you'd love them, Tune into the AM radio station in the city your headed for, and the arrow on the dash points you in the right direction (to the radio station antenna), and you get to listen to the ball game all the way there, just don't forget to check in to the tower when your in range. I look forward to your next flight.
2000+hrs in a 700B model, miss flying it- EVERY DAY. The best single engine IFR machine I've ever had the pleasure of flying. Congrats to you, excellent aircraft
I'm from just south of Melbourne and haven't been home for a while. So to see it all again in your video really brought me back. Thanks for the awesome video and keep up the good work!
Bumpy on departure...Linda is a trooper. Drone footage is a nice touch. Well done Steveo. Your editing skills are almost equal to your pilot skills...awesome as always.
I just got taking a class at ERAU and i just learned about the history of aviation. Crazy how far we have come in just 100 years. Yes steve the old days flyers have so much harder then we do these days.
This type of video with a lot of information about the aircraft is very enjoyable and it educates me (a non-pilot) about current cockpit configurations and system operation procedures. Thanks! I should name myself "Pilot by Proxy"
As always another great video. Thanks SteveO. Wish I got to meet ya this weekend at sun and fun fly in. Hope you had a great time. Living my dreams through your videos. Thanks again.
Enjoy your videos! Love the angles and colors. Your choice of music is great too! Keep them coming and let me know if you ever make it over to Arizona!
Hey Steve always look forward to your videos. You really are an inspiration. Watching your VLOGS as solidified my Passion for becoming a pilot. Cheers Mate!
Great video! I'm from the UK but I spent many childhood holidays visiting my family on Merritt Island. Great views of the Banana and Indian rivers and causeways!
Thank you four you videos, that give me sou much motivation for my Comercial pilot curse, I leaved my house in Germany two years ago and came to Brazil only for that. It's hard and difficult but I'm a fighter, and see you videos give me a little bit more force, thank for that!
Thanks Steve for your vids. They remind me a lot of when I flew with my dad. Those were great memories. You fly as calm as he did on instruments. Hope you go for your float plane license. We sure enjoyed lake jumping up here in Minnesota.
Hey Steve, your videos are awesome! Thanks for bringing us along with you on your flights and various adventures. The flying is great in itself but your editing skills and music taste take your vids to the next level for sure. Happy landings!
That was an exceptional view of Cocoa Beach. In fact, the only thing missing was seeing Jeannie and Major Nelson. Great flight, your videos just keep getting better Steve.
Nice video Steve. I wrote an article for Air Facts Journal about navigating in the old days from my time in the Navy as a crewman on a long range piston engined patrol plane. You my find it interesting. It's in the history section of the web site and called "Navigating in The Old Days"
Just recently stumbled onto all your videos. Great stuff. As a pilot in the Houston area and a Regulatory Specialist for Universal Weather, it's cool to see all of the ports that I deal with on a daily basis and even hear some of our client call signs in the background radio transmissions. Also talk to all of your FBOs on a regular basis. Very cool perspective. Keep it coming!
I love the drone shots you are implementing on your videos. I've been to Melbourne and Patrick AFB, It was nice to see it from your point of view. Great video!
Great video. I learned to fly at Patrick AFB in the late 80s. I spent a lot of time at the Merritt Island and Melbourne airports in my flight training. It was like seeing an old friend again watching you fly over that area.
I flew using a map and mark 1 eyeballs most of the time and followed railway lines in the UK. I remember when we fitted an RNAV and thought it was magic being able to "move" the nearest DME over our airfield. I guess RNAVs are in a museum now.
I think the work load started at the cross wind after departure. Just a sign. Good job my friend. That is why airplanes will always have a pilot. Thanks for the ride. catch you on the rebound my friend.
Really enjoyed the views of KSC and Merritt Island.. I was just at the space center a couple of months ago and made the drive up from Melbourne across Merritt Island so it was cool to see it from above!
It's good to see Linda, Moma tCass back in frame. She's a lot more interesting than right seat Rip Van Winkle Reggie. Great Fernandina fly over shots? BRILLIANT!!!
Steve, good to meet you at Sun N' Fun and watch you getting swamped by your fans. You've got a great channel and we're all looking forward to future vids. Give our best to Sonia. Rgds..........Ski & Cathy
Oh, that was really cool!! I'm glad this came up on my "Recommended for you" video suggestions just now! You have a new sub and def your channel is now one of my favs! You are a great Captain and I love the interesting and educational topics you talk about on your flight.. Thank you so much for taking us all along with you. What a beautiful day at Melbourne that day. Thanks again. :)
Hey Steve, I would love to have an inset on your screens so that we can follow through on what is going on from a pilots aspect. I only have 1500+ hours P1 on singles mostly, but I did have an IR and love to follow the tech details shown by the Garmin etc. Thanks a lot for your videos - they are really great.! Ian
Great flight I agree with all of your picks with advancements in Avaition for IFR flying or flying in general. But I think my number 1 pick would be the auto pilot to manage work load. Thanks for the great video . Skip
I thought the Autopilot might be the #1 invention. I just flew for 7.7 hours Tennessee to Florida in a Cessna 172N without autopilot trying to maintain standards and let me say, I really appreciate autopilot after that :P
Hey Steve, just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos. This here was the first I saw and it was an instant sub. I love to listen to you sharing your experience while also beeing able to see what is going on in the cockpit. Just a very nice concept and great production quality! I hope I'll be able to start flight school in a few years, once I finish university and get a better paid job. Greetings from Brunswick (the original in Germany) :D
When you said Melbourne, I thought FINALLY he's coming to Australia (YMML) ... but alas, it was Florida. Great video Stevo, keep 'em coming mate. Enjoyment plus ++. Love your skateboard btw :)
Fernandina beach runway 27, runway 26 is still in Apple Maps: magnetic deviation... Thanks again for your clear explanations and the fantastic view. Greetings from the Netherlands EU!
I have a quick question for you, that maybe you answered it already somewhere in the past, but ... Most often than not, you are flying all this "regular scheduled flights" all by your self. How can the companies you fly for stay in business when you are not flying any paying passengers ??????? Keep up the good work Steve and THANK YOU, (again) !!!
Heya Steveo, bit late of a reply to this video since you released it, but non the less, loving it! Subscribed via The Friendly Skies and eventually saw you 'flying-by' FlightChops' channel too. I really enjoy the way how you explain things and show us how something works and why something can't work one way but it will work the other way around.
A great video! Love the videography before and afterwards with the drone, looks awesome! I've been out in Phoenix Arizona for a month or so now, doing some hour building for my Commercial pilots license!
Radiation refers to Radiation Inc that was bought by Harris Corporation, which is headquartered in MLB. There is still a very visible collection of satellite dishes and other antennas just outside the southern edge of MLB's delta airspace, just north of Valkaria (X59). There used to be a VFR reporting point marked on the chart.
Theres still a great example of the arrows and directions. The one i see daily is in Mesa AZ and points you to Phoenix. Its really cool to see. (Its near usery mountain pass if you want to look)
Sure was great to meet you Saturday. All the Pilots in my group saw the pictures of you and I together and were so envious of me. We all hope to see you at Oshkosh. See Ya!
Hey Steve; What can one say ? .... Your videos, as always, they simply "Kick Ass" !!! For sure I learned a few things about flying props, since I discovered your videos and I certainly thank you very much for all your efforts.
Great flight thanks. Love the views. Only one thing is the veiw on landing. The camera should the reflection of the grill on the glare shield. Just a FYI.
Steve, just on the topic of the arrow navigation. During World War 2 the Irish state put white rocks, in the form of numbers, on the ground near their lookout post around the Irish coastline. A list positions and numbers were given to allied pilots so they could tell where they were during the war. A few of them still remain so keep your eyes peeled if you're ever in the skies over this side of the Atlantic
Old SEL pilot would like to return to flight status sometime but watching your flights I wonder if I still have it in me to be a good pilot. Enjoy watching your videos.
Yesterday 9/7/16 afternoon aroud 1-2 pm I was listening to ATC Live and I heard your approach into KOPF . I look up and there was the famous TMB850 on downwind to land.
GREAT flight Steve. Love drone footage as well.
Your vids are some of the best on the tube. We feel like we are in the right seat when we are on board.
Thanks again from 95472
Steve, thank you for sharing yet another GREAT video with the You Tube community!!! Always AWESOME!!!- Dana

Steveo, I have watched every video you have posted on RUclips.
I have enjoyed every one of them, and look forward to many more..
Thanx
Dr. Steveo's boss as you can see despite what he says flying is very hard.
Please give him a raise.
Melbourne will always have a special place in my heart. I went there for my first solo x-country and landed on 9L. Great video as always!
Enjoy your videos! Love the angles and colors. Your choice of music is great too! Keep them coming and let me know if you ever make it over to Arizona!
Excellent video! I love that area around the Cape and Melbourne. Thanks for showing it from above.
Always nice to see a pilot flying a drone and an airplane. Thanks!

Spent some time in that area years ago, awesome to see it again Steveo. Thanks for the flight.
I love the drone shots you are implementing on your videos. I've been to Melbourne and Patrick AFB, It was nice to see it from your point of view. Great video!
Nice catch of that turbulence. I replayed and saw no delay in your response, as if you knew it was coming!
Great video. I learned to fly at Patrick AFB in the late 80s. I spent a lot of time at the Merritt Island and Melbourne airports in my flight training. It was like seeing an old friend again watching you fly over that area.
That guy belly-sliding down the beach is my favorite

Steveo great video. I grew up in Titusville just up the road from Melbourne. Thanks for sharing your flights.
I think the work load started at the cross wind after departure. Just a sign. Good job my friend. That is why airplanes will always have a pilot. Thanks for the ride. catch you on the rebound my friend.
Ask the boss to buy a TBM-930! ...love the new G3000 cockpit setup that's offered.
Another flawless flight. Thanks Steve.

MAN these get better every time. I love these. The Casey Neistat of aviation
Great flight thanks. Love the views. Only one thing is the veiw on landing. The camera should the reflection of the grill on the glare shield. Just a FYI.
I would think that the autopilot would be one of your top three technological favorites?
Nice flight, I enjoy them all.
Another great video. You should have wagged your wings as you flew over Merritt Island. I live on the Indian River, Cocoa side!
on refueling you can see the wing slightly drop down with the weight.. then lift when the other side slightly drops.. awesome sped up vid bit
Did my first solo xc at KMLB love that airport it is fun and easy to get in and out of!
