    Kroos' warning is practical, realistic, honest, and worth listening to. He's been in Real Madrid for 9 years and he knows you have to work really hard for your place.

    • @losk3442
      @losk3442 Год назад +1

      its not about working hard for his place, just like hazard and his price tag, both players are pretty much going to be in starting 11 because of the price. But i think kroos was giving him a warning and letting him know that at that price and such a young age too, he should remain professional and give his all. Let’s not forget the reason hazard failed was because of an injury and his lack of professionalism at the club. So far though Bellingham seems incredibly professional especially for his age.

    • @hakki368
      @hakki368 Год назад +8

      @@losk3442 Real Madrid has always valued hard work and showing it on the training pitch and during games. "Hasta el final", or fighting until the end, is a well known value and tradition of Real Madrid. Working hard for your place despite your salary scale, is what Real Madrid is all about. So, Kroos was indeed warning him, hence my previous comment that it was a practical, realistic, and honest comment worth listening to and heeding.
      Re. Hazard, his heart was never in it from the start. Saw it in his eyes during his official presentation. There wasn't any passion. His injury is just the excuse. When he got fit, there was no fighting mentality. You could see it during training. Lackluster, lethargic, heartless. So Kroos was also correct in saying that Hazard destroyed his own career.

    The obsession that some have with needing to compare him to others - and the need to put Kane down for his decisions though is ridiculous. They both obviously have different priorities. Kane has a family and maybe that is his priority and good for him. Jude is 19, not tied down like that and has chosen his course. It isn't for everyone (look at Hazard) but it is for him. I wish him the best and also hope that Kane gets what he wants - whether that is a move somewhere in England or if he settles in at Tottenham for the long haul and is happy with his family.

    On Bellingham specifically, he said the following: "He is a top player that many teams wanted because of the mix of quality and age that he brings together. I have a lot of confidence in our board. If Real Madrid puts so much into the operation, I expect he will be a very good signing for us. If he does as well as in Dortmund, he'll be a good addition. What Toni Kroos said about Eden Hazard letting his career rest after his transfer to Real Madrid that was funny, because he's right in one sense because you go from being one of the best players in the world during your time at Chelsea and then at Real Madrid, he was a shadow of the player he used to be and made zero contribution to the team and his work ethic not putting in the work caught up with him at Real Madrid as a result we saw the injuries and a big decline in performance. Jude Bellingham is only 19 years old, and this Real Madrid move is a big step up, he has the passion and drive to play for this football club, he doesn't care about money/paychecks or all that stuff and seeing the drive he has to get better and perform we've seen it with club and country already in his young career, and that's the attitude you need on a club like Real Madrid. Eden Hazard even in his peak when he was playing well and making all these dribbles and scoring goals, he was criticized for not putting enough work in training and ok it worked there when he was younger but when you get to a club like Real Madrid, you wanna raise your game and at the prime of his career after making a big money move he showed up out of shape, overweight and it was a sign of a lack of self-awareness because on a football club like this, you have to show desire and be willing to give it your all and he was a flop at Real Madrid since day one, because he got his move and if he liked he came unfit and since then was playing catch up and injuries happened and we never saw that same player ever again. Jude Bellingham works hard and has professionalism and once he understands that talent and price tag isn't gonna be enough to cut it at Real Madrid, he'll have absolute success there in the long run and he's just getting started.

Luka and Toni would be next as they are already in the twilight of their careers hopefully they’ll follow Casemiro’s steps on moving to other top sides in Europe but at least don’t move to Asia or Middle East the paychecks maybe good but it’s definitely not a good move if they want to stay competitive just look at Cristiano. But if they still want to move outside of Europe go to the US it’s an emerging market for football.

      When your board of directors are all tangled with the Spanish government for decades now you can get extravagant loans and building investments and appraisals during a time where such loans and tax laws made it illegal. The team in political opposition can’t even move a cent without the most ridiculous of scrutiny. That’s the main difference that everyone in Spain knows and understands very well.

    I don't understand why the best young/free player going to the best/former club in the world is significant and not.... boring? It would be so much cooler if he were going to Brighton or Napoli, even though I know they can't afford him. To me this is a continuation of some of the not-so-great parts of euro football, that being effective monopoly powers by the big clubs and perennial results over the years.

    On Kroos' comments, bear in mind he too is a foreigner who knows the culture shift into real madrid and the workings of the madrid media circus. For me what he's saying is that yes, Bellingham needs to put the work in, but also that just because he has a big price tag he shouldn't have too much pressure put on him with inflated expectations Kroos knows how his young teammate will now be hounded and this is a case of putting his arm around him while not coddling the lad.

    I mean im not overly impressed with Jude honestly, but he is only 19 and can only get better and hopefully this move will be that fire up his backside and I'm with Craig, most English players especially the best ones dont normally like this sort of move away from the comfort of the Prem where youll be praised week in week out for the bear minimum, he goes to the most technical league in the world and that will benefit his development greatly

    It is great that Real Madrid signed Bellingham as he will be a good midfielder for many years.
    Now Real must get off their rear ends and find and sign new world class strikers as we are currently weak on offense since Benzema left and ran after Saudi money.
    We must get new goal scoring strikers very soon otherwise we are going to have a worse upcoming season that this past one.
    If we cannot score goals we cannot win.
    We have been busy signing new goalies, defenders and midfielders but not one striker which is baffling as our offense is our current weak spot.
    I hope Real's management will work overtime and find and sign new world class strikers very soon so we can become a world powerhouse again.
    Right now Real Madrid is NOT yet a good and complete team.
