Just did this today. First of all, I want to say thank you. As for the flat head, you do not need it. I chipped off a little paint doing that. Once you get the side panels out, you can pull down on the tabs from the inside instead and just pull the panel out. My PC is so quiet now.
I bought one a couple of days ago. I was just about to a) be quite quite sad. Or b) Try and go swap it/return it/find some semblance of warranty coverage. Until I came across this. I must say, I'm largely at ease. I'll get around to it soon enough. Thankyou!
Thank you very much. I almost spent a lot of money to buy noctua fan for fixing the noise because i think it come from the fan :D Following your guidance and my zotac is super ultra silent now :))
Thanks so much for the detailed process! My issue wasn't a noisy ferrite element, but a tougher error involving green line artifacts and a windows error code 43, like the whole graphics card was disabled/crashed at boot. I don't know if it's the ferrite thing tweak or the "taking it whole apart", but I've had two successful boots and a night of gaming, successfully saving me a new GCU. ありがとうございます!僕のHEROですよ!
Hi. Thanks for taking the effort to make this video. I just wanted to confirm: there are others who recommend replacing the case fans (with Noctua or other silent fans), but it seems the fans use propreitory connectors for the contact pad. Also, in my unit I've only observed the noise issue when the fans spin up. Did your method eliminate the noise completely? I am just a little intimidated about being able to take things apart and put them back together without breaking or losing anything! Thanks in advance!
Hi, the ferrite core derived noise is completely gone. I feel that the noise from the fan is louder when the CPU is under heavy load, but that is just fan noise. That is how stressful the ferrite core noise was for me. You can listen to the ferrite core derived noise I am talking about at ruclips.net/video/Qj3COaBqD_c/видео.html.
@@ketakahashi Hi. Thanks for your response clarifying the issue. And, yes, now I do notice that noise as different from the fan noise, and it is driving me a little nuts too! 😊

Thank you for this video ❤just what i'm looking for🎉
Hello, thank for this very informative video, however may I ask what brand of PSU this PC is using? I've been looking to replace mine since it's become really faulty.

I'm sorry. I don't know the PSU brand. The power supply unit was originally installed in the PC I bought.
It is custom

What is the psu model?
